I’m glad that you stumbled on Reschool Yourself and relate to the project! I still suffer flare-ups of Impostor Syndrome, but it helps me to remember that each of us has expertise in different areas. I took a bunch of cultural literacy quizzes online recently for fun and found that I knew a lot about literature, art history, and music, but not nearly as much about history, politics, and science. I love that you’re intentionally bringing a childlike attitude to your daily life. I aspire to do that more often, too!

Hi Melia, I stumbled on Reschool Yourself while researching on social media in education for my work… I now learn that I have Imposter Syndrome, I hope it’s curable. I’m 32 this year and a couple of years ago, I missed being a child so I started making deliberate changes to simplify my life and attitudes and face each day with the joy of a child. Thanks for sharing your journey

I totally agree with humanity first; however, our master teacher preaches “this is not about warm and fuzzy.” Which road should I choose …while developing my PD plan?

Yes, you’re right about the grades - I’d forgotten! Haha, I have no idea why I still have my school schedule. I’ve always been a packrat when it comes to mementos. I guess that’s why I have my P.E. shirt, too.
