The online process 33 BSC result 2012 published today by the Public Service Commission (PSC). 33rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) online result will save time and money, Public Service Commission (PSC) chairman A T Ahmedul Haque said.

“The result will be published within one year of issuing circular. Previously it took more than two years to publish results,” Haque said a media conference at his office.

The online process will entirely save approximately Tk 5 million, he added.

The 33rd BCS aims at filling up 4,206 vacant posts. This year, under the general category, 300 will be recruited for BCS (administration), 69 for tax, 89 for police, 16 for foreign affairs and 566 as general cadres.

The government will also recruit 2,905 cadres under technical/professional categories that include 2,572 doctors. Individually from these, 607 people will be appointed as teachers under BCS (education) and 112 for the teachers’ training colleges.

Barakatullah Electro Dynamics Limited (BEDL) company was incorporated in Bangladesh on 26th June 2007 as a Private Limited Company. BEDL on 25th September 2008 the Company was converted to a public limited company under the Company Act 1994. This company took part in the tendering process initiated by the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) and won the bid for implementing, generating, and supplying electricity from a 51 MW power plant at Fenchugong, Sylhet for a period of 15 years. BEDL signed an agreement for supply of electricity on rental basis with BPDB on 28th April 2008. For project financing the company appointed Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) as a lead arranger to arrange a syndicated loan for the project. Accordingly a syndication loan facility for BDT 1250 million has been arranged from six financial institutes.

Open University Bangladesh: The need for an Open University in Bangladesh was felt long ago. The history of distance education in Bangladesh dates back to 1956, when the education Directorate was assigned with the responsibility for distribution of 200 radio receivers to educational institutions. This led to the creation of an Audio-Visual Cell and later the Audio-Visual Education Centre (AVEC in 1962). No further progress in distance education was made till 1971.

After Independence Bangladesh faced the challenge of meeting the educational needs of mass people. To meet this challenge the necessity for a new mode of education was widely felt. As a sequel to that feeling, the School Broadcasting Pilot Project (SBP) was launched in 1978. Later in 1983, the project was transformed into National Institute of Educational Media and Technology (NIEMT).

NIEMT was later replaced by the Bangladesh Institute of Distance Education (BIDE) in 1985. Apart from producing audio-visual materials, BIDE offered the Bachelor of Education (B Ed) program in distance mode. The success of BIDE encouraged policy makers to take up a major plan for establishing an open university. The plan became a reality in October 1992 when the Bangladesh Open University Act 1992 was passed in the Parliament.

H.S.C Education Board Just Announced Exam Routine

Education Board Just Announced updated the H.S.C. 2010 Routine or Exam Time Table. Exam will start from 1st April 2010 and exam will be end depends on subject and department. But all basic exams will be completed by 18th May 2010. Its pretty tight routine. Best of Luck To Everybody.

Bangladesh Tk 100 Prize Bond Draw Result

The Central Bank of Bangladesh issued Tk 100 prize bond. Its draw held 4 times every year. It was the 61st Draw (31st October 2010) Tk 100 prize bond draw result in Dhaka.

The draw was held at the conference room of the Dhaka divisional commissioner at 11.00 am under the usual single common draw system.

There are 46 prizes declared, including 1st prize for Tk 600,000, 2nd prize for Tk 325,000, 3rd prizes 2 for Tk 100,000 each, 4th prizes 2 for Tk 50,000 each and 40 for Tk 10,000 in each draw of every series.

Result of Bangladesh JSC Exams will be published in the month of December 2010. Junior School Certificate (JSC) and equivalent examinations was held compulsory instead of the Class - Eight Finals and Junior Scholarship Examinations. Hope you are waiting for JSC exams result. Result will be published it will be here so bokmarks this page and get update about your result from here. Junior School Certificate examination means JSC examinations. JSC examination 2010 for students of class eight has begun on November 4. The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) exam have ended on 22nd November 2010. The Class Eight Finals and Junior Scholarship Examinations result published in next month, December.

This is the first time in Bangladesh start that the Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations was held in the hole country under The Eight General Education Boards and One Madrasa Education Board with uniform questions. It’s main tasks is “New Syllabus Examination-2010”. The National Education Policy 2010 introduced this new public examination named Junior School Certificate Examination for students of class eight. Bangladesh Education Policy also states that there will be no Junior Scholarship Examination or class final examination for class-eight students and scholarships will be awarded on the basis of results of the JSC examination and students must pass it to get enrolled in class nine.

It is expected that around 19 lakh students will sit for the Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations. Dhaka Education Board will oversee the whole process. A 100 marks exam for each subject under the curriculum of school and madrasha has held and total nine subjects exam will be held. Total marks are 900. Each subject of the JDC exam, however, was held on separate days. The results of JSC exam 2010 will be published by December under GPA method and scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the results in JSC and equivalent exams. To publish the results in a short time, the boards would increase the number of examiners. No separate examination will be held for admission in class IX. During college Class-XI admission the results of JSC and equivalent exams will be evaluated along with the result of the SSC examination.
