Fundada em Osaka, Japão, em 1979, a&lt;i&gt; Japan Capsue Computer&lt;/i&gt;s fabricava e distribuía máquinas de jogos eletrônicos, aquelas coisas piscantes que víamos por aí. Abreviando o nome para CAPCOM, a empresa sempre teve por objetivo superar suas concorrentes, e tudo que nos interessa começou de verdade no final dos anos 80. Segue a história.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;b&gt;1984 &lt;/b&gt;- A Capcom contrata um cidadão chamado &lt;b&gt;Yoshiki Okamoto&lt;/b&gt;, designer de games que trabalhava para a rival Konami, Okamoto foi responsável por games que colocaram o nome da Capcom na praça, como 1942, Son Son, Side Arms, Gun Smoke e Forgotten Worlds. Okamoto cresceu na empresa, passou de um mero diretor a produtor de games e contratou um carinha chamado &lt;b&gt;Akira Yasuda (conhecido também como Akiman)&lt;/b&gt;, responsável pelo design de coisinhas como Final Fight e Street Fighter II.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;b&gt;1987 &lt;/b&gt;- A Capcom lança nos arcades um tal de Street Fighter, produzido por Takashi Nishiyama e Hiroshi Matsumoto. Ainda este ano surge Mega Man para o Nintendo 8 bits.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;b&gt;1989 &lt;/b&gt;- O beat&#39;em up Final Fight é lançado nos arcades, uma tentativa frustrada de fazer uma sequência do Street Fighter que terminou se tornando num clássico.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;b&gt;1991 &lt;/b&gt;- Okamoto, Akiman e sua turma jogam no mercado Street Fighter II, o resto a gente já sabe.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;b&gt;1994 &lt;/b&gt;- A primeira investida pesada em um RPG da Capcom surge com Breath of Fire no Super Nintendo.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;b&gt;1996 &lt;/b&gt;- A Capcom mais uma vez inova lançando um survivor horror para o PlayStation, Resident Evil, que virou filme de sucesso em 2002 gerando duas contiunuações.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;b&gt;2007&lt;/b&gt; - Capcom se junta à Valve para lançar títulos pelo sistema Steam, sendo a pioneira no Japão a fazer isso. Games como Onimusha 3, Street Fighter 4, Lost Planet e Resident Evil 5 estão disponíveis.&lt;br /&gt;

O piso e os coqueiros, tudo bem, agora essas montanhas ao fundo e essas pedras parecendo prédios distantes realmente mostram que a idéia inicial do game era um tanto mais artística e surreal do que vimos no produto finalizado. A pose do Sonic também é uma jamais vista no game, o arbusto atrás dele parece um tanto deslocado em relação às outras peças de vegetação na cena.&lt;br /&gt;

Para muitos, chegar no planeta Venom já era uma grande vitória no épico Star Fox, conseguir atravessar o planeta era algo próximo do impossível, e encarar o ainda desconhecido &quot;macacão&quot; final poderia ser considerado algo utópico para muitos.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Depois de atravessar em alta velocidade um tunel cheio de barreiras móveis e levar muitas bordoadas pelo caminho, Fox alcança o local da batalha final, normalmente com 1/3 de energia restante e um tiro básico, ou não. Logo que a música muda, várias placas de metal vêm se agrupando no centro do espaço espacial vazio, formando uma espécie de plataforma que logo toma a forma de um rosto, e sem delongas começa a cuspir outras plaquetas de metal em sua direção.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Fox então mira em um dos olhos da &quot;máscara&quot;, ele aprendeu nos bosses anteriores que as áreas brilhantes em azul são as vulneráveis desses gigantes. O tiroteio segue enquanto o rosto cospe placas de metal que vem girando na direção da frágilizada Airwing, até que, subitamente, o cabeção resolve sugar de volta as plaquetas lançadas, e junto com elas, Fox vê sua nave ser puxada também.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Agora é hora defrear muito e aguardar a próxima ação do gigante, que será exatamente a cuspida de novo de todas as placas sugadas. Fox insiste em atirar em um dos olhos, até que um deles explode, deixando o outro olho pronto para ser atacado com gosto. Fox detona o segundo olho e tem uma surpresa... As placas se espalham e surge um cubo com a imagem real de Andross. O cubo começa a girar em círculos se aproximando da Airwing de Fox, enquanto a raposinha exausta atira loucamente no primata barbado.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Sem conseguir vencê-lo ainda, o cubo volta a juntar as plaquetas de metal e forma um novo rosto, agora de uma espécie de criatura chifruda, as cuspidas de plaquetas agora são constantes, junto com lasers e Fox precisa mais uma vez vazar os olhos da besta.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Quase sem energia, Fox destroi mais uma vez os olhos da cabeça gigante cuspidora de plaquetas, e encontra mais uma vez o símio encububado. Depois de mais uma rajada de tiros, o cubo Andross é desfeito e Fox pode deixar o planeta de uma vez por todas, voltando para casa com o sentimento de missão cumprida.&lt;br /&gt;
