It seems like there are two sides of the fence to Austin, TX. One side loves the place, and the other side say it’s the most boring place on the planet. I have also read a tip that it’s not very good to visit in July/August.

My bud who is also known as Church Tongue said the few people from Chicago that has traveled to Austin, TX have told him that the place is not worth the time and is boring. The contention is that while it’s suppose to be some sort of mecca like music capital, it is also been said to only occur on one street down there (6th street from what I hear).

The question here is,”How do you feel about Austin, TX or rather do you feel Austin, TX is cool place to live/visit or does the place suck?” You can reply via twitter and the hashtag of #trashyaustin. It’s more fun if you use twitter to respond to this, and responses can simply be like this “cool, love the music, best city in the world #trashyaustin” – “sucks, I got robbed in Austin, safe in Chicago! #trashyaustin” – you know something short and sweet < 140 characters for twitter.

This time, I’ll even take the comments that are associated with a blog post right below. That’s fine – but rather would see this stream be taken to the hashtag of #trashyaustin on twitter.

Now of course since twitter is like porn sometimes with the < 140 character limit, if you leave a comment here on this post – feel free to be very detailed on why or why not Austin, TX.

Technically Speaking, while I am not giving away FREE T-Shirt this time, I would like to see some opinions!

My former co-worker Todd Sawicki and his wife are trying to raise $500 for some people in Kenya who could simply end up dead due to malaria. How do you help prevent this from happening? Well you start out with simple steps such as malaria nets.

My wife, Katie, and I are trying to raise $500 in a week to help our parish priest, and native Kenyan, provide 100 families in rural Kenya with anti-malarial mosquito nets for their children. We know times are tough economically, but even a small donation of just $5 – roughly your daily triple, non-fat, caramel machiatto – can buy a mosquito net that will keep families safe from malaria carrying mosquitoes.

We are hoping many of you choose to donate $5 for a net (and hopefully more), but please donate what you can, any amount puts us closer to giving a family a life saving tool. It’s important to note that 100% of the money we raise will go directly to buying the nets. No overhead, no wasted donations. Just money to save the lives of poor children in rural, western Kenya from the malaria.

Technically Speaking, how hard is it for you to go green to show your support for the people of Iran that actually got off their asses when their system failed them?

I’ve always liked what Leo has done for the older generation of geeks, but come on now – Twit and Twitter? Not even close to the same. Never have I confused the two products or brands. Plus I don’t believe either one has been referred to as the other. I don’t think anyone has thought Twitter had anything to do with Leo’s show/brand called Twit. At least people with a little common sense and knowledge have never thought that.

If there is in fact any type of case to be brought up, its should be the case of day late dollar short. That’s right. If Leo wanted to make claims to Twit, his registered trademarked brand name, why in the heck does he wait until 2009 when Twitter the totally unrelated brand and never referred to the Leo brand Twit, to make a public gripe about it on his FriendFeed? Can you say stir the pot, and jump on the twitter money train?

What money though? I guess when you have the momentum, Hollywood can think of turning anything into a reality show. Now that Twit has realized that they missed the moment of opportunity, and just let Twitter slide by unopposed, they jump in with this idea that somehow their trademark and brand is now infringed. I think they are stretching for an easy revshare pay day, and the courts might grant it, even though they’d be totally wrong to do so.

Last night I plugged it in to get my initial body test, and yeah, I could have told you I was overweight and out of shape! Didn’t need the board to tell me that. I figured I’d start the actual exercise part tomorrow (today).

Today, I figured it was time to get in some sort of routine and give it a go. Did I look like the below pictures? Somewhat. I went through each exercise one time to give me a full WiiFit run through. The nice thing, I was able to unlock extra exercises and games. That was cool, so more for tomorrow to try.

Technically Speaking, we’ll see how this works or even motivates me to do other things, such as play some corkball if it ever stops raining!
