Cornwall was in Tier1 for a while which was silly as very quickly this became Tier3 due to the influx of idiots from worse hit areas of the UK thinking that they would “Pop Down to somewhere safe” (absolutely No Comment from me!)
I am afraid that this “New Life” has made very little difference to me as I do not go out eating / pubbing / having Coffee etc. I can still see my friends with 103yr olf Mum as I am listed as “Carer” I sit with her so they can have respite. I also can see the 2 88yr olds in the village for the same reason!
So I walk Monty, I walk on the beach, I supermarket shop. I feel for those who are worried, frightened or traumatised and there are a lot. I volunteer as a “Phoneafriend” with Cornwall speaking with people who actually see not a person all week – their shopping being dropped on the doorstep – Horror.
I am lucky.
I can only imagine your life without restrictions now but up until this last batch some were almost living that. Now Not.
Christmas should have been cancelled except there would have been many more unhappy people out there. Imagine having to weigh the pros and cons if one was in Power.
I cannot be happier that you are safe and well – able to continue to send those marvellous videos. Joy
