      <description><![CDATA[<p>Greg Swingle and Benjamin Watkins fly to Amsterdam to network at IDFA - a renowned international meeting point for dialog about social media and its impact on the world.</p><p>In the last 6 months, our new company, Big Wonderful Inc was able to earn enough money to afford the remaining computers and cameras that were promised to the Instituto de Midia Etnica, ACANNE, and Beje Ero.</p><p>Special thanks goes out to Paulo Rogerio Nunes in Bahia, Mi'jan Wilder of San Francisco, and Daniela Binazzi of São Paulo for helping us get these gems to their new owners Salvador.</p>]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>In this Video Podcast we cover our brief but productive filming period in September. Rhythmic Uprising director Benjamin Watkins joins forces with Paulo Rog&eacute;rio Nunes from the Instituto de M&iacute;dia &Eacute;tnica and videographer and hip hop activist Eliciana Liz to film a long list of inspiring Bahian community leaders about the differences they're making. We filmed Mariana, Viviam and Adriane from <a href="http://www.projetodida.com.br" target="_blank">DiD&aacute;</a>; Mario, Anativo, and Rejane from  <a href="http://www.bejeero.com.br" target="_blank">Bej&eacute; Er&ocirc;</a>; Antonio Marcus and several of his students from <a href="http://www.fotolog.com/circopicolino" target="_blank">Circo Picolino</a>; Mestre Ren&eacute; and his daughter Chris from <a href="http://www.acanne.org" target="_blank">ACANNE</a>; as well as Vanda Machado and Arany Santana who are both influential educators in Salvador who stress the importance of incorporating African heritage into the development of youth in the region.</p>]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Rhythmic Uprising volunteer Judy Durkin gets us up to speed on everything that's happened since the end of April. U.S. Rhythmic Uprising supporters Maneesh Gogia, Catherine Vu, Alisha Laborico, and Julie Turiy visit the project in Bahia. Sylvia Johnson lends a third camera to our Banda Dida concert shoot. Benjamin Watkins, Rogerio Nunes and Greg Swingle finish promotional DVDs for ACANNE and Bejé Erô. Then they hold a screening of it in Bejé Erô's community center. Finally, we take a look at what Ben's been up to back in DC.</p>
