Learn to develop for the Apple iPhone using Flash. Adobe’s new strategy to translate from AS3 (Flash) to Objective-C (for the iPhone) was unveiled at Adobe MX 2009.

Google Chromium Introduces a Desktop Notifications API

Google Chromium the open source project behind the Google Chrome browser introduces a desktop notifications API. To quote the official documentation –

“The Desktop Notifications API allows script to request a small toast to appear on the desktop of the user. The contents of the toast can either be specified as iconUrl/title/text strings, or as a URL to a remote resource which contains the contents of the toast.”

Accepting Submissions for Adobe MAX Awards

Submissions for Adobe MAX Awards 2009 are being accepted now through July 31 2009, and nominations for projects other than your own are being accepted though June 30, 2009.

The top three finalists in each of eight categories will be invited to showcase their work at MAX 2009 in Los Angeles, CA. Winners will be announced at the MAX event.
