I am always looking for better and faster ways to deliver quality websites to my customers…..

Recently, a business acquaintance told me about a plug that does just that when working in WordPress.

I was thinking that I have seen a lot of plugins… Some good and some not so good for WordPress, but thought I would give it a try.

This little plugin doesn’t look like much when you first start it up, but the power under the hood is fantastic.

One of the things I have always wrestled with is getting the right look and feel when building WordPress websites. Sure you can go out and purchase many different themes for WordPress or even find some pretty good ones that are free…. But some of them are a bear to customize and you really need to get inside and rip a lot of the code to make changes at the foundation…

Since discovering Impact Page Builder,

I have been using it for nearly ever site I have been working on recently. You start off with the standard Ten Twenty theme in WordPress and then build your own “Templates” that you can assign to any page.

Many times, I design two templates for a site. Once for the home page and a different one for all the other pages on the site…. You can do just about anything you want to make the pages look exactly how you like them.

The cool part is that you can make as many templates as you want and style every page differently in that is what the client requires you to do.

I am very impressed so far and will be using this for a number of new sites that we are working on over at our website design company, WebYabber.com

If you want to be able to take full control over the exact way your WordPress Websites look, I high recommend that you try Impact Page Builder today!

If you have been watching the news online, you are sure to see that Social Media is all the rage right now. Facebook just past Google for the amount of traffic it is getting monthly… And that my friends is a big number.

For a long time, my wife was on Facebook and I just didn’t get it. Being a Scorpio / Analytical type, I saw it as a medium to get on and chat with friends. For me, I would rather just pick up the phone and call someone if I have something to say.

It wasn’t until I looked at the numbers and the real marketing power behind the scenes that I turned the corner and saw the real potential of it. Since that time it has added an entirely new dimension to my website development company. We are building all kinds of Fan Page sites for people and they are getting good responses from them. The viral nature of Facebook makes it easier to get your message out to like minded individuals that you want to reach.

With a well thought out plan and some design work, you can use Facebook to either market your products or funnel people to your site.

In upcoming posts I will be talking more about this and how to take advantage of Facebook in your online marketing campaigns.

More and more I am impressed with the ability of WordPress sites to get good SEO rankings fast on the big three search engines.

Recently I have been doing more and more development for my clients in WordPress. Once the projects are up and running, we start our standard SEO packages to get the sites ranked and move to the top spots for the keywords we need to be found for.

I have done some split testing of standard sites verses WordPress sites and each time the WordPress site and won hands down.

What can I say, It is easier to use, looks great and gets better SEO.

If you are planning on a new website or need to get some better SEO for your current site, I high recommend that you think about adding WordPress to your tools if you are not already working with it.

Well, it has been a while since my last post here. I have been so busy with many things going on.

As most of you know, my full time business is doing website design and development. If you are curious about that, have a look at my website at WebYabber.com

Over the last year, I have taken on a lot more work that is helping local businesses get listed and ranked well in the Search Engines. This has really expanded the amount of work WebYabber.com has.

On top of that, I have also been doing some training of people. About two weeks ago, I ran a four day Training seminar for people that want to learn all the basics of starting up and running an Online Business. We are currently fully booked, but if you want to sign up to be notified of the next openings for this, drop by our website at: onlinefulltimebootcamp.com

During this four day event, the people that attended learned how to set up their own blogs, how to setup a squeeze page, basic Photoshop and Dreamweaver training, how to change one of the many templates that were provided with the course, how to start their own list building strategy, and much more.

It was a very intensive four full days of training and I must say it felt good to be back in front of people and passing on the knowledge that has taken me years to acquire.

I plan on expanding this part of my business and doing more training in the near future.

With all of this going on, I have been a bit negligent to you my readers. I plan to fix that and get back to regular posts that are focused on how to move your skills ahead so you can also learn to make money online.

See you all soon.

Richard

I have a blueprint that I follow when I want to write a new eBook.

Start by asking yourself the following questions and write down your answers.

1: What is the main focus of your eBook. What do you want the reader to learn from reading it?

2: What kind of research do you need to do to find a quality solution to this?

3: What is the best order to present your information so that the reader is taken step by step to a logical solution?

Now, as you answer these questions you will build the outline of your eBook.

Next, I always do the following:

4: Write a mission statement of why you are writing the eBook.

5: Write out what makes your eBook different from all the rest. Do you have new or exclusive information that solve a problem? Is your format of the information better and easier to read? Are you offering some type of special offer?

6: Using all the information above and your research, write out a table of contents so you have a picture in your mind and on paper the flow the book will take.

7: Once the table of contents is completed, look for ways to make the chapter titles into interest catching headlines. For example: instead of Chapter 1: Selling your eBook. Use: 7 Secrets To Explode Your eBook Sales!

8: Write your eBook introduction. Include a brief description of who the eBook is for and what they will learn from it.

9: Write the forward to your eBook. Explain why you are writing the Ebook and how you used the information to solve a problem you were having. Include a personal story as this helps the reader connect with you and draws them into the material.

10: Write out the closing statement to your eBook. When you know how your eBook will start and end, it is easier to fill in the material that takes you from start to finish.

11: Create a plan of action to finish writing your eBook. Make the commitment to put aside time each day to work exclusively on your eBook. Build a schedule and a timeline for each step. The more detailed you are and document the process, the more likely you are to follow through and finishing a quality product.

12: Reread your eBook and correct grammar, punctuation and typographical errors. Have someone that you trust, but will also be honest with you read and comment on your eBook.

Hello All

Recently I have been getting a lot of requests about Membership Sites. People want to know how to set them up, how to manage them, what the costs are.

As I am a full time web developer this is one area that I have always been interested in.

A number of my clients are involved in Internet Marketing and have been requesting that I setup these type of sites up for them.

I can honestly say that one of the best purchases I have made for my clinets when it comes to Membership Sites is:

This power script is easy to install, allows multiple levels of membership including FREE members.

Here’s the deal: Everyone KNOWS that running a membership site is a great way to make passive income.

Yes – that is the type of income that you can sit back and watch as it rolls in every single month.

But the PROBLEM is that creating and managing a membership site is both DIFFICULT and EXPENSIVE.

Well… it WAS anyway.

**************************************************

Discover just how EASY and CHEAP it could be to set up your very own profit-churning membership site right now by visiting:

**************************************************

The beauty of Easy Member Pro lies in the fact that it handles ALL the tough parts of creating and managing membership sites, so you can:

** Add, edit, and remove pages while having ZERO knowledge of HTML and PHP

** Offer MULTIPLE membership levels and bill automatically

** Easily accept 4 different payment processors including Paypal, and all foreign currencies!

** Completely automate the creation of new membership accounts

** Set up member-exclusive content

** Integrate autoresponders seamlessly

** Recruit and manage affiliates on autopilot!

** Set up your content in advance

Honestly – even everything that we just listed just BARELY scratches the surface of the everything that is packed into the Easy Member Pro software!

If you ever wanted a quick and easy way to set up a formidable online business – this is your chance!

If you ever wanted to be able to consistently earn more and more passive income every month – this is your chance!

Never before has there been ANYTHING that makes setting up a membership website so convenient, but don’t just take our word for it, see it with your
own eyes at:

When you decide that you need to hire someone to get a project done, you have a number of options. You can go directly to a company that specializes in doing Web Design / Product Creation, or you can go to specialized Freelancer sites that you can hire the specific skill needed.

My company, WebYabber.com is focused on web design, graphics creation and product development for a number of clients. From mini-sites to full blown corporate identity packages, to eCovers to PDF creation of your next hot selling eBook, we can do it all.

Of course, you can also go directly to one of the big “Hire a Freelancer Sites” listed below to hire the skill you need to get your project done.

Elance – The largest online freelance site. Probably the best site if you want a large professional job. However if you are looking at a smaller job or you want to cut costs to the bone you may be better off with Rentacoder or Scriptlance. Elance charges the freelance providers to just be listed on the site, whereas Rentacoder and Scriptlance only charge the providers once a project has been selected.

Rentacoder – Probably the second largest coding freelance site. Worth checking out. When you get a project done through Rentacoder you put the entire project fees into an escrow account. You don’t release the fees until the project is complete. This is good because it gives reassurance to the coder that they are going to pay you, but it also can be difficult if you have a large project, because you have to pay the entire amount into an escrow account, although you can put the project into stages and pay based on each stage.

Scriptlance – This site has the lowest costs but it doesn’t have some of the features of Elance and Rentacoder. Not as professional but good if you want really cheap coding.

Getafreelancer.com – Another reasonably good freelancing site

Guru - quite a large outsourcing site

Use Site Build It to build your web site

Site Build – It may be a better option for you than hiring an outside contractor. This software will give you high ranking on the search engines as well as have your own email list and hosting all included. It is a much easier option and has several tools included that help you to build your own site without any knowledge of HTML. The best thing about this tool is that it helps you to get high rankings in the search engines and has lots of bonuses included. You can also hire someone to use the Site Build It software and do everything for you if you want.

Technical Outsourcing Site:

Technical outsourcing

With the holiday season just around the corner, I know lots of people are concentrating on this time of year. It seems to many of us that the time between holidays like Thanksgiving and X-mas is a slow down while we gear up for the next plateau.

How many of us live our lives this way? The A to B approach of things and not seeing the landscape along the way.

I write this in the Goals area of my blog as I think it fits. I know when I was younger, I would become so focused on a goal that I often missed other opportunities that I was oblivious to. I had my blinders on and was attempting to reach that goal no matter what.

As I climb in age, I hope that I have gathered some wisdom around me. I can still focus on a goal, but now I can also see my surroundings. I see those moments in time that bind the two together… The Glue Of Life.

Reaching a goals is a good thing. But being blind to everything else around you while doing it is not healthy. Not for you, not for your family and relationships, and certainly not for your business.

When we become so focused that we miss our surroundings, we also miss opportunities to grow. We miss the things that enrich our lives. We miss the Glue…

I am a big believer in the power of the mind. That what we place inside of it determines what we ending up receiving in our lives. We become what we think about. When I look back on all the successes I have had in my life, they are all based upon what I was thinking about before the success came to me.

I see this as being tied into the Glue Of Life. It is in those in-between moments that we can make giant leaps forward in our thinking. When we are participating in those moments, we become much more aware of what is going on.

I no longer live my life for those moments of recognition. That Thanksgiving Day or that Xmas Time. I live my life for the Glue and all the moments that come between those other points that we as a society hold so dear.

What is YOUR Glue and are you missing it?
