The only way to hold assurance to the hope that is offered through Christ is to surrender to Him, acknowledge our sin, and repent.]]></itunes:subtitle>

The truth is that what we believe as Christians is just as crazy to them when they hear the Gospel story. Rather than make fun of someone else’s beliefs or idols, we need to be open to hearing about their beliefs so that at some point they will be open to hearing about ours.]]></itunes:subtitle>

While God can gift someone with a spouse, He can also gift people with the freedom of singleness that should be celebrated by the Church as someone lives their life serving the Lord. If we are all following Jesus in obedience, than whatever life He calls us to live is a gift.]]></itunes:subtitle>

The Bible teaches that marriage is a covenant, not a contract, and is not based on happiness but rather on commitment to see it through to death. The only way this works well is when both the men and the women are committed to God so that the men, being led by God, can lead the women who willingly submit to his leadership.]]></itunes:subtitle>

The Christian life does not work this way because all sin has consequence.
