Shane Sparks has been arrested and charged with 8 counts of child molestation!

The LAPD took Sparks into custody at 8AM PT this morning on a felony warrant charging him with molestation. The alleged incident occurred in 1994. He is being held on $590,000 bail.

Shane Sparks is a choreographer in So You Think You Can Dance and a judge of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. He also choreographed the Dreamgirls tour.

Survivor: Samoa – Two Brains Are Better Than One – Recap is a post from: American Idol

Another quick update for Survivor: Samoa. We’re reaching the homestretch! Two-hour finale is on Sunday.

First off, Natalie is a prayer warrior during the reward challenge… and then fails. LOL Oh well.

The tribe was divided into two teams of 3 and then pulled rope from a net that held some coconuts. Everytime a rope is pulled, some coconuts fall and the team that reaches 100 coconuts fallen, lose. Everyone let some nuts fall except for one time when Evil Russell pulled a rope cleaning without anything falling. That was impressive.

The team of Shambo, Evil Russell and Jaison go on the reward challenge.

SPOILERS:

Politics begin as everyone suspects that Natalie is buddying up with Brett after she selected him in the reward challenge. Brett and Mick become targets to be voted off.

In the immunity challenge — some lock combination memory thing, Brett wins again! The Foa Foa four are then left to choose: likeable Mick who is hard to beat against for $1 million, or Shambo who is easy to beat. Mick however can help get rid of Brett in the next immunity challenge — and Brett is almost a lock to win $1 million if he ends in the final tribal.

And so they choose. Evil Russell lets his strongest ally go.

Shambo is voted off.

Who will win Survivor: Samoa? Does the Foa Foa Four have a shot against Brett?

I’m pretty sure Evil Russell will walk away with $100,000 in the viewers vote for player of the season on Sunday during the reunion show. If you want to help make this happen TEXT 17 to 81818 (Maximum 10 entries per person).

If I Can Dream – New Entertainment Venture from American Idol’s Simon Fuller – Video is a post from: American Idol

Simon Fuller — creator of American Idol has a new project called “If I Can Dream” — and it’s ambitious.

The show will follow the lives of five young people – a musician, an actor, two actresses and a model – leave their hometowns and live together high up in the Hollywood Hills – as they go on their journey to stardom. Their lives will be documented across the Internet via Twitter, MySpace, Hulu, etc.

Will this be the next big thing? I don’t know, but if a couple of those peeps are CUTE and TALENTED, it will work.

Simon Fuller says: “I am determined to continue challenging convention and pushing the boundaries of mainstream entertainment. The next frontier is the video world of authentic real time interaction. IF I CAN DREAM experiments with technology to provide for the first time a complete open door opportunity that allows the viewer to experience reality in a way never before attempted. It is time the public got to see the truth behind what it takes to launch the careers of young artists who have a dream that one day on pure merit they can be professional entertainers and gain the recognition they crave. OK, what is that on his shoulder? I preferred the spikes from the AMAs — this looks like dried tar or something. (”I think I’m going to be edgy — let’s but this black thing on my right shoulder.”)

The good news is that Adam’s third week sales have stabilized! “For Your Entertainment” sold 46,000 copies, just down 9% from the previous week. If the numbers don’t drop significantly next week, then I think Adam’s career is not in trouble after all — 40,000+ every week is not bad! Keep our fingers crossed!
