The colour is a sort of blue to purple mix, unless the images do not put it across that good! What the colour is, it actually suits the cars body styling that is one thing about the Nissan 300 ZX and that is there is plenty of metal to be painted, so long as the colours are not too over the top.

Agency Power Adj. Twin Blow Off Valves Nissan GT-R 09+

One important facet on turbo charged vehicles is the factory blow off valve also known as the recirculation valve. Because the Nissan GT-R features a twin turbo setup, there is one blow off valve on each intercooler pipe. With stock recirc valves, they relieve the pressure from the intercooler pipe back into the intake pipe, which then goes into the turbo causing turbulence. This slows down the turbo spool up between shifts. However running an aftermarket blow off valve at a 100% atmosphere can cause MAF issues because there is no air being metered back. For modified cars running higher boost pressure, factory recirc valves can also leak boost from the OEM design at higher RPMs. Agency Power’s blow off valves have been proven successful on many other vehicle applications with each holding up to 30psi of boost. With its adjustability knob on top to dial in your spring tension, the CNC machined 6061 aluminium component can be setup to run either 100% atmosphere or 50/50 for best performance. With the 50/50 setup, the blow off valves will still dump air back into the intake, but most will vent to atmosphere giving you that swoosh sound and keeping the turbos spooled between shifts. The anodized body with laser engraved Agency Power name includes a bolt on flange to mount the blow off valve on the stock or aftermarket intercooler piping. So not only does is in the middle of all of those Nissan R33’s that looks either a end of production line party or the day that every R33 owner came to town to party and brought some of those GT-R cousins too just for the laugh.

To make thing even more difficult for us mere mortals along came a few Nissan GTS’s both two and four door versions, this must have been one of the best nights of the year so far. The atmosphere must have been electric with all of that rubber and highly polished Volk Racing wheels. Of course, this is no ordinary Starlet you can tell that buy simply looking at it, those widened wheel arches that give it away. Having said that, there is definitely something distinctly 1970’s about those wheels you have to wonder where they came from!

This is a great looking car, even with those modern Nissans, Toyotas and Mazda’s in the background, you want to call it quaint but in your heart you just know that is not true there is no way I would like to come up against this little beast no matter what I was driving.

So this is real drivers car, there is not fancy equipment inside or out and yet on the track it is likely to handle the track well, although it would have been cool to know the top speed of this little baby. Naturally, you should not be calling this a little baby at all.

The weight of the car has been put down as being just seven hundred kilos and that is with virtually everything stripped out of the car, but never the less the little Starlet will have some serious pulling power and probably not just off the starting line either.

Personally, I like this car; it has a certain style and when you think about how old it is. This is real classic machine that has out lived many of its modern counterparts.

This car has been built up from a basic car into something fantastic in fact appearances are slightly deceptive, as this car seems to have more in the inside than on the outside. But the this is Honda Civic and for all their faults these cars make great projects and as we have seen before the Honda Civic can display all of the qualities required by an import builder to come up with a superior looking machine that may look slightly tame on the road or in this case in an image. but once on that track this car really moves it, big time!

Back in the day when this rolling off of its production line it would have been producing around 110 HP which for then would have been good, there were plenty of cars around during those day that would be producing much less than that.

Now the RX 3 will give you around 312 HP, now there is a huge gap between to the two and as such this car is quite cool. Its body work has been updated with flared arches and a classic paintjob of yellow and black. It is one of those cars that initially would have been driven by the older driver or possibly a lady. but it was not that long before it was realised that the Honda Civic could be modified into something spectacular, it must be something to do with the shape and the way that the car has been built one thing is for sure the car attracts a different person now.

On the outside there is little that can be altered without spoiling the whole shape and lines of the car, there is not even a huge spoiler attached to the boot lid. The only thing about that is clearly visible about on the outside is the wheels on the lowered suspension. For small car 172 HP is plenty of power in fact this is enough to see virtually any car off from the traffic lights.

The car has been given a new leash of life both inside and out, it could be said that this is an American dream car transferred into a small family sized car from Japan, if that is at all possible of course.

The EVO as they have come to be known is a relative newcomer to the US market probably starting around 2003, so that means the car itself is not going to found everywhere in the US and as such not many are going to know what is, especially if it has been debadged this would really confuse the locals.

Agency Power Adj. Twin Blow Off Valves Nissan GT-R 09+

One important facet on turbo charged vehicles is the factory blow off valve also known as the recirculation valve. Because the Nissan GT-R features a twin turbo setup, there is 1 blow off valve on each intercooler pipe. With stock recirc valves, they relieve the pressure from the intercooler pipe back into the intake pipe which then goes into the turbo causing turbulence. This slows down the turbo spool up between shifts. However running an aftermarket blow off valve at a 100% atmosphere can cause MAF issues because there is no air being metered back. For modified cars running higher boost pressure, factory recirc valves can also leak boost from the OEM design at higher RPMs. Agency Power’s blow off valves have been proven successful on many other vehicle applications with each holding up to 30psi of boost. With its adjustability knob on top to dial in your spring tension, the CNC machined 6061 aluminium component can be setup to run either 100% atmosphere or 50/50 for best performance. With the 50/50 setup, the blow off valves will still dump air back into the intake, but most will vent to atmosphere giving you that swoosh sound and keeping the turbos spooled between shifts. The anodized body with laser engraved Agency Power name includes a bolt on flange to mount the blow off valve on the stock or aftermarket intercooler piping. These kits are sold as a pair and come in black, blue, red, or silver. They fit all 2009 and up Nissan GT-Rs.

This one is owned by Aaron Camilleri and it is just not something that could be taken for granted either, as this car offers 520 horse power and its all drive too. The huge 18 x 9.5 inch Volk racing wheels allow for better handling, of course it is going to need special brakes to slow that down and these are provided by six piston Alcom brakes.

In fact this is quite an eye catching machine with the colouring not the only thing that stands out from the crowd. The car is based in Hawaii so the owner benefits from virtual all day warmth and sunshine. This particular model started off as an automatic, so naturally that had to change.

Attention to detail is key here, after all who else other than an import builder pro would have the engine taken out just so that the engine bay could be sprayed properly. The body kit cost a full $12,000 and that did not include the paint job or installation come to think of it. It just goes to show that even the pro’s have to pay out too.

As for the performance of this Mazda, after all the work and investment that has gone into this car what you get is a massive boost from the HKS turbo and not a drop of nitrous oxide in sight. So do we think that this car is so powerful already that it doesn’t need a touch of Nitrous here and there.

The car has been almost modified to death in the body department, with almost all of the exterior being transformed with some sort of panel or modification. This trend follows throughout the car with a decent nitrous unit and turbo being installed just to add that little bit of boost that makes so much difference.

This is the 2006 version of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9 and within a couple of years it has gone from old guys car to a beautiful racing machine producing a massive 350 HP with no problem and that is from a four cylinder two litre turbo charged engine and that would have not been around when this rolled off the assembly line.

The problem is with the accelerator pedal there have been reports that the pedal on these vehicles tends to stick and therefore leaves the power on, no matter whether or not that car is moving or in stationary position.

The company has announced a fix for this problem and will be recalling the models below, the fix involves the company’s engineers reinforcing the accelerator assembly to make sure that the friction problem is eliminated and therefore will no longer stick in the open position. This issue will also be taken up with the cars that are in production too.  

Important the Toyota vehicles affected by the recall include:

So this of course is a brilliant Toyota Supra, it’s a cool car as it stands but for the Jamie Carter ordinary is a word that appears to have been missed out of his vocabulary. For this is car that produces a whopping 1,600 whp and this is a car that occasionally cruises down the highway too!

I love the drifting image with the hood missing it has a sort of arty feel to it that means that it has either been removed or the driver lost it somewhere around the track, hopefully for the team that hood was still there otherwise it’s another couple hundred bucks to fork out for.

It seems that after the women and older drivers, these poor old civics feel into the hands of first time drivers that modified them slightly, which usually means a large sound system and some furry dice. Naturally this spelled the end of this model and now there are only few left, one of which is owned by Anthony Keever from Greensboro, NC.

He has taken this poor old car and with time and patience has put new life into it, from the outside it still has the same old same and styling with a few slight medications. Even the interior is almost the same as it was when granddad was driving it around.

It is amazing that these Honda’s can quite easily stand the test of time as this car clearly shows, what is great about this model is that it is almost timeless in design, sure there are plenty of updated newer versions around. But in the mid nineties this car would have been at the height of auto technology.

Initially from the look of it, you may think that there are not too many modifications on this car, but there is an amazing 400 HP under the hood, which for a Honda Accord is something else indeed. You don’t get many family saloons on the road with that sort of power under foot.
