The weather wasn’t the best but we did stop on route and had a hot chocolate, a butter tart and went cottage shopping…. and of course we also had Kawartha Dairy ice cream :)   Looking forward to photographing their big day. My brother Tom was the guide who also photographs with the 5D Mark II. I hate junks also…perfectly understandable.This was an interesting monument we happened across while walking the tracks. A newspaper clipping taped to the cross displayed the young victims name and age as well as family names of those that were grieving. We thought perhaps the young man was hit by a train or possibly murdered at this spot…..

A small nicely decorated cottage overlooking the falls and off the grid became the venue for this Kinmount Ontario wedding . Melissa and Greg wanted an intimate quiet wedding with no fan fare, just family and friends. Its who they are.  Melissa and Greg understand the importance of documenting this occasion and Ridout Photography was thrilled to be included in the event.  We had free reigns on artistic impression and had a great time capturing the day. It was a relaxed fun event and the day turned out to be absolutely gorgeous. I worked the entire afternoon with no jacket. Enjoy a few of my faves!

Its been a long winter trying to handle the workload as well as painting and renovating a new space for Ridout Photography. we have out grown our home and moved to a new better equipped space. It has caused a backlog in completing projects but what it insures is a better experience and organization moving forward……and we are now up and running!! A great big hug to all of our past, current and future clients….. we could not have done this with out your help, patience and support. We are truly blessed to have worked with so many great clients.
