Instead of pushing it half a dozen times then bashing it another half dozen times, try this.</p> <p>Get a flash light and find the tiny hole that should be somewhere next to the door that seems to be super glued shut.<br /> Straighten out a paper clip and stick it in the hole. This company searches for domain names that will expire soon and sends the owners a notice with the following warning: You must renew your domain name to retain exclusive rights to it on the web, and now is the time to transfer and renew from your current registrar to the Domain Registry of America. Failure to renew your domain may result in a loss of your online identity. They charge $35.00 a year for domain names, which is about twice as much as most companies charge. I called the company informing them that I was a Web Developer and wanted to now why they were scaming the public but they declined to comment. You have some type of presentation like a power point, flash video, or maybe a copy of your website that you have burned to a CD. You want to give this to friends or customers right? </p> <p>Rather then having them see a bunch of files and or folders when they insert the CD into thier CD-rom drive, you would prefer a specific file to open/start automatically. Here is how you could accomplish this.</p> <p>Go into Notepad and create a file with the code shown below. We will assume you have a copy of your website and you want the home page (index.html) to automatically be displayed when the CD is inserted.<br /> <font color=orange><br /> [autorun]<br /> shellexecute=index.html<br /> </font><br /> Name the file <font color=green><b>Autorun.inf </b></font>and place it with rest of the files before you create the CD.<br /> If all goes well, when the CD is placed into the CD-rom drive, instead of seeing the files/folders themselves, the home page should automatically be displayed.
