One thing I really do not like is when searching for something on the internet, only finding commercial stuff or not finding it at all. This has never been truer than with images. Doing graphical designing in my part time, I’ve been looking for free stock or affordable images or photos. However, the problem with royalty-free free images on the internet is its bad quality and usually features a watermark or other restrictions. This all said I compiled a collection of quality royalty-free free images, photos, stock, microstock, icons or pics (it does not really matter what you call them, they are all images) to satisfy even the most seasoned graphical designer.

These images are provided to you with royalty-free perpetual license. You can use these images in your own personal or commercial projects. A link back to Rizonesoft is a semi-requirement. This means that if you use the images on a web site, a link to us will be appreciated, but I do understand that a link on your business card to Rizonesoft is not possible. All I ask is that when you use any of the images, is that you post on Facebook, Twitter, WordPress etc. about it. You also do not need to do this every time you use an image, once will do.

Please do not redistribute these images. I paid for them and own a license for www.rizonesoft.com only to give them to you for free. For example; do not create a free stock image site and give these images away for free to your users. You may modify these images, but the copyright cannot be modified ever. The rule above will always apply. Note that I am not giving you resell-rights on these images; never sell them to anybody, that will not only violate the terms, but is not ethical at all.

If you would like to buy these images to give them away on your site, contact me and I will put you in touch with the appropriate people. Most images are over 4MPs and are an invaluable asset for any project. Containing no watermarks and the limited restriction, makes this the best royalty-free free images collection on the internet. They are all uploaded to MediaFire and you can preview and download them from there.  Remember to click on the Image View tab in the top right corner to preview the images before downloading.

Because of the recent takedown of File sharing sites, you might have noticed that all download links are down on Rizonesoft. It is again decision time here at Rizonesoft and we came up with the best solution. We’ve tried the making money thing with File Sharing sites and it just doesn’t work. Like I learned on an early stage in life, “If something does not work, do the opposite”, so we paid for a solution at MediaFire.com.  Here is why this is a good thing; No more Captchas, unlimited downloads for you, links will not be deleted, faster downloads, no waiting time and we have 100 000 MB direct linking bandwidth per month. Direct linking means that when you click on a link the file will begin immediately without being redirected to MediaFire first. I will try to direct link everything, but if the bandwith gets depleted for the month, no more direct linking for the rest of the month.

Now about false Virus scanners and false positives; all MediaFire uploads are automatically scanned and verified by BitDefender and we do a scan using Microsoft Security Essentials on our side. So, if for some strange reason your AntiVirus reports Rizonesoft software as a virus, you can be about 95% sure that they are being a little untruthful.  Email me with the program and Antivirus name and I’ll make sure to send them a little email asking politely to not scare our users.

Now we get to the last few points I would like to share with you; I will be uploading / posting everything. Everything means all currently published, discontinued and not uploaded stuff (not discontinued, but not uploaded). We just need some time to complete this mammoth task. Give me about 48 hours to be realistic.

Because of all the takedowns, laws, terms and conditions, licenses and accusations on the internet these days, Rizonesoft needs to state the following:

If our software breaks your computer, renders something useless or even costs you money in any currency or any other imaginary losses, Rizonesoft will not be held responsible and will be void from any monetary compensation (claims) to you.  All the services and software we use are fully paid for and we try to keep a good and standing relationship with our suppliers. If you need information about our suppliers, send me an email stating the particular information you require.  Rizonesoft does not ask any money for any service or software, but his does not mean that we are a non-profit organization. We do not make a lot of money, but we do make a little. Lastly, all software we bundle with some of our freeware are open source, free to distribute or we got writer permission (normally in an email) to distribute it.

If you for some reason do not agree with anything said above, please close Rizonesoft.com and don’t download anything you find on Rizonesoft or from any other link pointing to Rizonesoft Freeware. For the rest, I thank you for your support and understanding.

One last note before the rambling stops; do not forget about our social networking side. We installed a service from Embe.ly that allows you to embed almost anything from almost anywhere. Create some interesting groups and post some stuff. However, don’t spam (will be deleted immediately when found) and please, no copyrighted material. If we find any copyrighted material on Rizonesoft we will delete it and on frequent violations, your account will be deleted.

Verbum is a simple, user-friendly word processor that works with a wide selection of file formats. When working with Verbum, don’t expect to find fancy ribbon menus or lots of tools, like in Microsoft Office. Verbum aims to be a clean, lightweight word processor with just the basic functionality, but which works perfectly fine for simple, everyday tasks. Verbum features the classic word processor interface, with an addition of tabs. When you would like to work on a single document without the clutter of the tabs, you can float (disconnect) the document from the main interface, by double-clicking on a tab or dragging it away from the tab bar. The interface can also easily be personalized by applying one of the many skins included.

Verbum is still in its alpha stage and could contain some bugs. It should be complete early in 2012, but to be able to accomplish this, I need some feedback. • No ribbons - Ribbons is a feature of the newest family of Microsoft software we love to hate. Verbum has no ribbons included, partly because we are forbidden to include them in a word processor and also because 50% of the population don’t like it.

Recovery programs were invented exactly because some of the files you got rid off might contain valuable information. The only problem is that unwanted persons also know how to use that kind of tools and won’t hesitate to do so if they ever got a hold of your hard disk. Rizonesoft CD-DVD Icon Repair is a small and easy-to-use tool that will repair Windows if your CD or DVD drive icon is missing from My Computer when your drive is not recognized. It will also help if you have issues reading or burning media. CD-DVD Icon Repair can also repair (reset) your autoplay or autorun settings and protect your computer against autorun parasites (virus) by disabling the autorun feature for removable drives.

Sorry for taking so long before uploading this one. Stuff have been kind of frenetic at Rizonesoft. In this version, I changed the name (so that nobody can accuse me of untruthful advertising again) and made some minor cosmetic changes.  I’ve also included a 64Bit version just for fun.

With this little tool, you can detect stuck or dead pixels and also repair stuck pixels. Many tools like this can be found all over the internet, but we could not find a tool with all the functions in one. Therefore, an adequate application was created, called Rizonesoft Pixel Repair.

Before we continue with what you can do with Rizone Pixel Repair, let us start with what you cannot do. First of all, you can only attempt to repair stuck pixels and it will not repair dead pixels. Secondly, it will not work every time either. No miracles here boys and girls.

Now let’s get to the good part. You can use the Dead pixel locator section on Rizonesoft Pixel Repair to look for dead or stuck pixels. You can also use this section to help you find dirty little spots and dust when you clean your screen (Because dust doesn’t show on all colors).

Now, after you have located stuck pixels, try to repair them with this tool. Set the color mode, press go and place the flashy window thingy under the stuck pixel. Sometimes this unsticks that pixel, but as stated before, not always.

WinSock repair has been replaced by Complete Internet Repair, but as far as I understand, many of our users are still using this oldie.

Most of the Internet connectivity problems arise out of corrupt Winsock settings. Windows sockets settings may get corrupted due to the installation of networking software, or perhaps due to Malware infestation. You will be able connect to the Internet, but the packets won’t transfer back and forth. And errors such as Page cannot be displayed may occur when using Internet Explorer.

The Security Restore application was developed to be a small tool that will simply attempt to restore your computer to the default security settings. This is useful for when you get, You do not have permission to… blah, blah, blah errors, while installing programs or updating stuff. It will also attempt to repair the dreaded 0×80070005 error messages when trying to register dll files while installing certain Windows components or programs.

Sometimes you will not get this specific error number, but just an Installation Failed message. This tool will in most cases also repair these errors, for example: Internet Explorer 7 installation failure and permission errors while installing BitDefender Antivirus.

This should only be used when you actually have something wrong with your computer. This will normally be after a virus attack and you are trying to register components, for example: when you try and update a Windows installation. Also, when you try to install an Antivirus program after virus removal and you keep on receiving permission errors. This utility replaces the popular Rizone 0×80070005 FIX.

If you are a Windows Vista user then you will know all about file ownership and permissions related issues and now it is extended to windows 7 too.

Windows 7 has implemented an additional security mechanism to prevent accidental or intentional file or folder modification by not allowing users other than the owner of the file or folder to access it. Henceforth if you need to access, modify or delete such files or folders you need to take ownership first then assign rights or permission to respective users.

Taking ownership of system files or folders in Windows 7 or Vista is not a simple task. Whether you use the GUI or the command line, it takes far too many steps. Rizone Ownership will add a “Take Ownership” option under the Explorer right-click menu that will handle all the steps for you. This menu option is used to modify the Discretionary Access Control lists (DACLs). Simply put, it unlocks or gets ownership of a file or folder.
