Apple quietly launched 16GB iPod Touch 5G for $299 that replaces iPod Touch 4G on online Apple Stores. The iPod Touch 5G 32GB and 64GB model with the price tag of $299 and $399 released back in September and the 16GB version of device was promised for later launch.

Now the new entry level iPod Touch is the iPod Touch 5G 16GB and with its release Apple discontinued the iPod Touch 4G production anymore.

The iPod Touch 5G 16GB has 4 inch Retina display, FaceTime HD camera with 1.2MP photos and HD video (720p) up to 30, dual-core A5 chip, and Apple EarPods but it lack rear iSight camera and loop attachment.
