I went back to work on May 9th and I’m recovering well. I have good days and bad days. Sometimes my left side gets really stiff…I’ll have a few sharp pains, but mostly, I’m doing OK.

Cedric, Ramel and I finally got to move into our new apartment on May 3rd and I must say, I love it here!

God has truly been blessing the three of us and I am so thankful!! He has brought us through some tough times and I know He will continue to do so.

I believed God when He said if I would just wait on Him, he would come through…In His Time. Thank you Lord for never letting me down and always being there for me. I don’t know where I would be without the Lord!!!

I spent the other day in the Emergency room from about 8am til 5pm. I hated having to take the day off from my new job, but I really couldn’t take it anymore. I had blood  and urine taken and they both came back fine. The doctor then decided that I should get a CAT scan just to rule out anything else besides some kind of bug or something.

The doctor came back and told me that he had found something on the scan. There is a mass on my left kidney. He explained that it was wonderful that we found it while it is so small. It has not spread in any way and it should be very simple to remove it. After that, he can inspect it and tell me if it’s benign or malignant.

If this news had come to me a few years back, it would have devastated me, but I have grown in God since then and I KNOW HE did not bring me this far to leave me! Over the last year, God has allowed me to purchase a new car, get a new job AND get engaged to a wonderful man of God. If I doubt Him now, I haven’t learned anything!!!

My first appointment with the Urologist is this coming Thursday and I will keep everyone posted. God has been to good to me for me to stop praising Him now!!

My new job will be alittle closer to home and it’s the type of position that I have really been looking for for a long time now.  I’m not going to say much more about it yet. I start on December 8th and trust me….this will be a big change and it’s an awesome opportunity!!

God has made so many changes in my life since this time last year! Sometimes, all I can do is look up and say Thank you Lord! I don’t know where I would be without his continuous blessings!

My new job will allow me to be off on Saturdays and Sundays and I am finally looking forward to being able to give God back some time for worship! I’m thankful for the man He has put in my life who has encouraged me to move forward and closer to God.

Jesus, you are amazing!!!

Even though today may feel like it’s going to be a long day? I’m grateful to be alive! He didn’t have to wake me up, but He did!
