It was Taylor Swift’s night at this year’s Billboard Awards in Las Vegas which saw her win about 8 trophies for her album “Red”.

Taylor Swift led all artists by quite a big margin at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards held in Las Vegas this Sunday. Swift won the prestigious top Billboard 200 album category for her album ‘Red’. She also bagged the top artist award at this year’s Billboard Music Awards. Swift seemed to be quite happy to receive the awards and thanked her fans for making her crazy music popular. She also said that she is currently enjoying the best and the longest relationships that she has ever experienced with her fans. Taylor Swift also did not disappoint her fans at the Awards function as she performed her hit number “22” on stage for her audience.

Authorities had recovered marijuana, heroin and paraphernalia from her dorm room and she was facing misdemeanor charges. The charges on her were dropped due to the “Good Samaritan” provisions. Custom made electric guitar used by Beatles John Lennon sold for a whopping sum at a Julien’s Auctions in New York.

A semi-hollow custom made guitar used by popular Beatles artist John Lennon as well as George Harrison was bought for $408,000 by an anonymous United States buyer at a New York Julien’s Auctions. The semi hollow guitar was made by VOX and it was expected that it would fetch about $200,000 to $300,000 at the auction. The guitar has been used in the video Hello, Goodbye and was in the hands of Lennon in the video. Harrison used to play the guitar while practising for the song “I Am Walrus”. The guitar was sold a few years ago by Christie’s for a little over $100,000.
