An nifty new design inspiration site by Wanken Blog owner Shelby White.

Designspiration is an interesting new design inspiration resource by Wanken Blog owner and ISO50 blog contributor, Shelby White. The material on the site is right up my street, and there are some nifty ways of sifting through it like “Live Type” searching and searching by colour, not to mention handy navigational keyboard shortcuts.

Check out Shelby’s in-depth article about the development of Designspiration on the ISO50 blog, or head on over to the site now.

Beautiful designs by some of my favourite designers, showcasing IE9s WOFF support

An incredible set of designs by Jason Santa Maria, Frank Chimero and Naz Hamid—built by Trent Walton and Dave Rupert—were launched yesterday, showcasing IE9s support for WOFF (Web Open Font Format).

I’m particularly taken with Frank’s ’Atlantis‘, though that’s not to dismiss the others in any way. Each design plays wonderfully with it’s particular time-period while still embodying the style of the designer.
