Happy Groundhog Day!

Once a year the eyes of the nation turn to this tiny hamlet in western Pennsylvania, to watch a master at work. The master, Punxsutawney Phil, the world’s most famous weatherman, the groundhog. Who, as legend has it, can predict the coming of an early spring. So I guess the question we have to ask ourselves today is, does Phil feel lucky? ~Ground Hog Day

Polar Bear

Swinging on a star

I’ve made me a moon-catchin’ net,
And I’m goin’ huntin’ tonight,
I’ll run along swingin’ it over my head,
And grab for that big ball of light.

So tomorrow just look at the sky,
And if there’s no moon you can bet
I’ve found what I sought and I finally caught
The moon in my moon-catchin’ net.

But if the moon’s still shinin’ there,
Look close underneath and you’ll get
A clear look at me in the sky swingin’ free
With a star in my moon-catchin’ net.

Magnificent Max

What’s in a name sighed Magnificent Max…

As he gathered his props and started to pack.

The bunnies revolted, the birds flew away.

Not a whole lot of magic had happened that day.

But descending the ladder as he caught the last bird

“He must be a wizard!…” magic Max overheard.

His dreams of illusion had not slipped away,

To the kids he was magic, that magnificent day!
