<p style="text-align: left;">I am always honored when I am approached about maternity portraits. I am even further honored when I work with a mom who is truly invested in working with Roberts Family Photography to create a work of art. This was one of those sessions. And it was perfect. The light was perfect, Danielle was perfect, the mood was perfect and the location was perfect.</p>

<p>It took some planning to get this session just right, we had to coordinate time and schedules as well as negotiate Danielle floating in a pond! She was such a trooper! But I stayed on the dock with Devin and snapped away, as this was a shot I had been picturing in my mind for months!</p>

<p>I loved getting to know Danielle; she is the owner of <a href="http://esalibirth.com/" target="_self">Esali Birth</a> and is passionate about educating women about birthing. If you are pregnant, thinking about becoming pregnant or curious about birth she is an amazing resource and offers both online and in person classes on birth.</p>

<p>I loved photographing outdoors during the “golden hour”, that hour before sunset. It was exquisite.</p>
<p>I loved how willing Danielle was to try anything and never seemed to mind my crazy requests, especially, that one where I said, “Hey Danielle, do mind getting in a pond and floating?”</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">What would I suggest that Danielle and her family order from this session? Well, maternity portraits are intimate. Not everyone wants 16 x20 maternity portraits decorating their walls, (though I happen to think maternity portraits can make amazing art for your bedroom walls.) For those that prefer something more private, I often suggest an album. Albums make an amazing keepsake and feel very intimate when you hold the photos in your hand as you look at them. Albums the perfect way to showcase your works of art for generations to come.</p>
