Blog Income Report September

Oct 6th, ‘08

First of all, I’d like to apologize for the lateness of this post, as it should have been done a few days ago. I was out of town for a few days without internet access so I’m a little behind right now, but no worries. I’ll be back on track in no time.

September was a pretty good month on the whole. It was a little rocky in mid September but things started to pick up near the end and October is off to a fabulous start. Here is my income report for September.

Here are my current statistics:

  • 74 RSS Subscribers
  • 1, 576 Visits
  • 2, 544 Pageviews
  • Technorati Ranking: 171, 641
  • Alexa Rank: 226, 955

A nice little increase in readers and some rankings on Alexa and Technorati. I was hoping I could get my Alexa ranking a little higher, but oh well. As long as it continues to grow, I will be happy.

Here Is My Revenue For The Month Of September:

  • Private Advertising: $25
  • Kontera: $6.05
  • Text-Link-Ads: $3.04
  • Google AdSense: $5.08
  • Affiliate Marketing $50

Grand Total: $89.17

As you can see, I ended up making a little bit more money then last month.

My big money makers are private advertising and affiliate marketing. Without these two methods I wouldn’t really be making any money at all from this blog. I’m going to be focusing my efforts more on these and on other ways to make money for October.

I’m also trying out AdSense for the month of October, if you haven’t read my post you can do so here. Hopefully I can find some ways to make some decent cash off of AdSense. Chances are I will be ditching it when October is done though. I’m not expecting it to do too great.

I’d also like to thank all my sponsors for the month of September:

I’d also like to give a mention that I just started my contest. There are many great girfts and lots of cool prizes to win, so sign up now!

Thanks everyone.

Woopra

I love it when someone comes out with a new tool for us bloggers to use and try out. It’s always nice to see the newest and greatest programs to hit the web. One tool that I have been using for quite some time is Woopra. Woopra is a new web analytic software, it is currently in the beta stages right now. I see this program becoming very popular in the near future. More bloggers are starting to use it each and every day.

If you are unfamiliar with web analytics, then check out my series on “ Using Web Analytics to Optimize Your Blog.

Ten Blogs I Reccomend To You

Sep 26th, ‘08

I’ve been talking a lot about making money on this blog the last past little while and this post seems like it could help everyone out. I’m sure it is of help because it took me quite a little while to get this list together.

One of the best ways to get knowledge in a particular topic is to broaden your horizons. What I mean is learning from multiple sources, because everyone talks differently. Everyone also has there own specific area that they excel in, and last but not least, everyone knows something you probably don’t. I can guarantee that last little fact is true. :)

So here’s a list of a few blogs that I recommend if your interested in learning more about making money online. Of course you can read this blog, as I talk about making money with blogging a lot, but as I have said before, it never hurts to listen to others as well. There’s a good chance that if you read multiple blogs about a certain subject then you will be able to digest a lot more information as opposed to just reading one blog.
