The brief was to make it black and white, plus Victorian floral style with the license to add weird things in the details. On top of that, I had to make one illustration to apply to three drums.

This one was the 30th - congratulations to the Sketchcrawl crew for getting so many worldwide Sketchcrawls!

I was joined today by Sjet, so it was my first non-solo Sketchcrawl! (Yay!) We had a lot of fun, and have plans for growing our sketching group as well as making it more regular.

Robotic is a 2 colour t-shirt illustration I made based on the theme of Robots, designed to lie somewhere between the abstract and the image. It's fun working with 2 colours/inks, and how you can get the most out of them, from overprints to halftones to solid colours.

After a few months of working 12 hours a day, I've cut down to normal hours. Which means I have time to do things. Or to even see the sunlight. Hence the dark room analogy...

It's sad to see footage of animals going extinct and so I made this picture. I don't know where the actual idea originated, but it was one of those moments where the metaphor seemed to fit perfectly. The use of humour in art is an interesting point of discussion in itself...
