So, I recently submitted these pictures to Apartment Therapy’s Small Cool Contest. The only room I’m actually happy with at the moment is our bathroom. I tried to edit the photos to make our place look cooler than it really is and apparently, I didn’t fool the pros down at AT. My abode-esteem took a dive when our place wasn’t selected and I have been obsessed with redecorating ever since. Josh and I have only really done two small changes: window area and bed area. I am not sure that either have made a major impact on our coolness factor. I really want to paint our walls, buy a new desk, bed frame and computer. While we’re at it I’d like to replace our kitchen cabinets and couch too. Josh seems to think new curtains are the answer to all of our decorating woes. Maybe we should just find a cooler place to live…white people problems.
