We left a bright, sunny Queensland on some kind of re-commissioned old airliner courtesy of the very cheap, no-frills but very friendly Air Asia X. We had exactly $280 too much baggage but we weren’t about to get rid of all the ‘awesome retro stuff’ we’d gathered from various Op Shops, no way.

It’s been a bit busy around here: between wrapping-up our lives to head back to the UK (leaving Australia is going to be like a bad break-up – you know there’ll be good things but you’re not sure you’ll be able to live without her), keeping my nose to the grindstone on a lovely new UI design project (more on that soon) and seeing all those last bits of the country we want to see before leaving, there’s not been much time for updating this blog – or much else really.

Inside a pier somewhere in Malmö, Nils-Petter Löfstedt and Erik Vestman created a room. Perhaps you have walked on it. Surely you would never have guessed that underneath the stone and concrete there is a livingroom with white walls and parquet floor.
