As most of you know these cream eyeshadows have been the talk in the beauty blog community so I just had to try them for myself. Maybelline Color Tattoo By Eyestudio is a cream/ gel formula eyeshadows with intense pigmentation and long lasting without creasing for 24 hours.

#35 Tough as Taupe- a neutral matte grey color.

#45 Bold Gold- a beautiful metallic gold.

I am really impressed with these products. The consistency is very creamy and easy to blend. Not cakey at all and able to layer on the product for better intense color. I'm definitely going back for more colors!

Finger Paints: Brushstroke Blush

Brushstroke Blush: a very milky pink. Beautiful color for more of a natural look.

I love doing my nails with a milky pink color, gives me a girly look feeling and at the same time a very elegant look.

Wet n Wild: Mega Matte Last Lip Color

Because I really liked the las two lipsticks that I picked up from the Wet n Wild Mega Matte Lip Color collection I decided to go back and get some more. Like I said in the last post these lipsticks are amazing! For more Mega Lip Color post click here. These lipsticks are great in color pay off and awesome in color lasting. I can live with the cheap packaging because the product is well worth it.

Just Peachy: a very peachy pinky color. Great for those that don't like a very nude color on the lips that wash you out.

Sugar Plum Fairy: a very plum color. Very excited to wear this lipstick!

MAC Dazzlesphere!: Smoky Berry Ornament

This is the other set the boy gifted me for christmas. To see the first set click here. The Smoky Berry Ornament comes with four different crushed metallic pigments. They are divided into two different sets.

One set is lighter than the other one.

First set...

Pearl: a white frosted color. In the container it looks pearl but once applied it's more of a metallic white.

Rose Light: a pink metallic color.

Second set...

Spicy Smoke: an orange-red frosted color.

Roasted Chestnut: a dark chocolate color with bronzy sparkle and shimmer.

These crushed metallic pigments give great color payoff. I am in love with these pigments, thanks to the boy!

I know I'm late at posting this but the boy gifted me for christmas with two different sets of these and I love them! They come in an ornament type of circle, very chic. It comes with four different lipglosses, two Cremesheen Glass and two Dazzlegass.

CCO Finds: MAC 165 Tapered Cheek and Highlighter Brush

165 Brush is a brush that can be used for contouring, applying highlighter to the cheeks, and applying blush. The 165 brush is an awesome brush that can be used for many different things. It is a soft dome brush. It doesn't shed and makes it much easier to contour your cheeks bones or around your face. The bristles are firmly packed and very dense. Unfortunately this brush is discontinued.

Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick: Soft Nude

Soft Nude is such a pretty nude color. It gives you great color payoff and very moist and soft to the lips. The perfect nude color that doesn't make you look washed off.

Wet n Wild: Mega Last Matte Lip Color

These lipsticks really surprised me on how good of a product they are. They are great color pay off and very soft on the lips. The container has great amount of product as well. One thing I didn't like was how cheap of a packaging it comes in. I ended up dropping one of the lipsticks and it broke in pieces but the good thing, the lipstick is very cheap and the product rocks so well worth it!

Too Faced: Primed and Poreless

A skin smoothing face primer that can be used alone for the look of flawless skin or under bronzer and makeup for a perfect finish.

Has a very smooth consistence leaving your skin extra silky and light. Easy to blend with a natural color to it, leaving your face flawless.

I decided to pick this product up after finishing up my everyday primer which was L'Oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base. I was browsing around the Too Faced isle when I came across it and loved the fact that it came in a tube that you can squeeze out instead of scooping the product with a brush or your fingers. I love how flawless it leaves my face. It also makes my face feel extra smooth and my makeup stays on all day without having to retouch my makeup at all.

TRESemme Dry Shampoo is a product to clean hair without water anytime. Made with Mineral Clay and Citrus which refreshes your hair by removing oil and odor while injecting volume. Just a quick spray transforms lifeless, limp hair into clean, fresh hair full of bouncy body. It also helps to maintain hair color with less washing.

I was very disappointed after two weeks of using this product. My hair is super thin and very oily. I don't like to wash my hair everyday so a dry shampoo brings my hair back to life! Unfortunately this dry shampoo didn't work for me. Before applying this product I would shake well before using. I would spray lightly and evenly through dry hair, leaving it in for a few minutes. I would then brush my hair. This dry shampoo would leave my hair looking white and brushing it out wouldn't do anything. Also after using it for a few weeks I started noticing dandruff. I have never had a problem with dandruff so I was very upset when I started noticing it on my hair. I wouldn't purchase it again!

Gel Nails: French Tip

Gel nails are my favorite kind of nails to get. Ever since I found out about gel nails, that's all I get. I used to be the kind of girl that got acrylics every two weeks but I used to hate how thin and sensitive my real nails would feel after taking the acrylics off.

What are gel nails: they are artificial nails that have an extremely realistic look. They are thin and non-yellowing. It gives a very natural look and gives them durability like acrylic nails. Gel nails don't lift nor damage your natural nails. The gel becomes a strong base for your natural nails and prevents them from breaking or damaging. The gel is the nail polish they use on top of your nail.

Cons: they are costly than other types of acrylics.

Pros: is not as high maintenance as acrylics so you can go at least every 3 weeks. They have many different colors to choose from. They are your own nails so there's no damaging to your nails. Super glossy and helps your nails grow long and healthy.

Every time I go to Costco I'm always so curious how the quality of the makeup brushes they sell are... so I gave in and bought some, besides a girl can't ever have to many makeup brushes!

Bringing in the New Year 2012!

Red Hair: Stage 2

DIY:

What you will need:

Mixing brush
Mixing bowl
Gloves
Hair dye in 4IR-44.66
20 Volume developer
Cholesterol

4IR-44.66 is a deep red color with purple undertones.

For a tube of dye you add 2 fl oz of 20 volume developer and mix well in the mixing bowl.

Color is ready!

Before dying my hair I applied Professional Formula Cholesterol all around my hairline and forehead to prevent my skin from dying.

I couldn't be more happy with the result of color. It is exactly the color that I want it. I was going for a darker red with some purple undertones. It was super easy to do but very time consuming. After applying the dye to my whole hair, I left it in for about 20 minutes and rinsed it with cold water. Cold water makes the dye stick more onto the hair. I was very impress how this product didn't leave my hair making it feel or looking dry.

Rock & Republic: Makeup Brushes

I have never tried any type of products from Rock & Republic but these makeup brushes really caught my eye. The first thing that got my attention was the whole mirror look to them, which is polished chrome. I think it makes them look very chic. The bristle are super soft and densely packed. The brushes are light and just the right size. I am very please with these makeup brushes, definitely some of my favorite!

Naval Amphibious Shooting Range

I got the opportunity to hit up the Naval Shooting Range and learn about different guns. I was super excited to shoot guns. It was my first time so I was a bit nervous and anxious but super excited. I decided to bring the munchkin along and teach him more about what the boys job consist of.

The gun shot is super loud and scary!

I decided to let the munchkin shoot guns as well. I'm sure a lot of you don't agree with my decision but I see it more of a learning experience and I did explain to him how dangerous a gun can be. My decision on letting him shoot was a lot base on the boys job. The bf is in the Navy and he has gone to Iraq. He is planning on retiring from the Navy, which means Jacob will have to understand his job and become some what familiar to it. I am a very protective mother and I think this experience for my munchkin wasn't only awesome but he learned a lot from the experience.

Red Hair: Stage 1

It was that time again...

As most of you know, I get tired of my hair quick and I'm always in need of change. I was getting tired of the blonde but definitely didn't want to go back to black or brown, at least not yet. So what is a girl to do... well of course go red!!! I'm still in the process of it because my hair was so blonde that I have to do it in stages. I decided to go for a red with purple undertones. My hair has lighten up a lot since the first time I dyed it which was about a week ago but tomorrow I will do my hair again but this time I will be dying my own hair. I already bought the dye and products I will be using. I can't wait for the final outcome!!

This is the actual color of my hair at the moment.

Mickey Mouse Club House Party!

I can't believe how time flies....I remember like it was just yesterday that I was holding my munchkin in my arms rocking him to sleep. My baby is now 4 years old. I am a very proud and blessed mommy. I have such a smart and warm heart little boy that knows his alphabet, numbers 1-15, and his left from right. The munchkin decided that he want it a Mickey Mouse Club House party and that's exactly what I prepared for his special day.

I also rented a jumper for the kids and some chairs and tables for the guest.

Mickey Mouse Cupcakes

Mickey Mouse Cupcakes!

My munchkin just turned 4 years old and I was pretty excited to plan his birthday party when he told me he want it a Mickey Mouse Club House Party! I decided to get creative and bake some Mickey Mouse cupcakes!!!

Recipe:

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cocoa powder
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vinegar
Oreo cookies
1 can Betty Crocker chocolate icing
mini Nilla wafers
hole puncher
1 sheet piece paper
glue

Instructions

Heat oven to 350° F.
Mix all ingredients together until batter is smooth and free of lumps.
Bake for 17 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool for 30 minutes.
Scrape off frosting from Oreos and crumple cookies.
Hole punch white piece of paper for buttons and glue them on paper baking cups.
Frost cupcakes with chocolate icing and dip cupcakes into Oreo cookie crumbs.
Frost mini Vanilla wafers with chocolate icing and dip wafers into Oreo cookie crumbs.
Place mini Vanilla wafers on top of cupcakes for ears.

It was a co-workers b-day at work so I decided to bake some B-Day cupcakes! I really want it the cupcakes to be colorful and fun so I went with sprinkles.

Recipe:

Ingredients

1 Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge cake mix
1 can Pillsbury Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting
Sprinkles
paper baking cups

Instructions

Heat oven to 350° F.
Make and bake mix as directed on box. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
Iced cupcake with vanilla frosting then sprinkle sprinkles on top.

Breast Cancer Awareness

I decided to bake some cupcakes and my inspiration for these lovely cupcakes where from the Breast Cancer Awareness. Breast Cancer Awareness is a big issue and it has affected many women around the world. I been blessed enough that my family hasn't suffer from this but just because our families haven't been affected it doesn't mean that we can't support those who have. I have decided to do the Susan G. Komen for the Cure walk/run this year and it is actually this Sunday coming up. I am very excited to support the women out there that have so much courage to go day by day trying to fight this diseases.

Recipe

Ingredients

1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist yellow cake mix
1 can Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting
1 tube Pink Cake Mate Decorating Icing
24 White paper baking cups

Instructions

Heat oven 350°F. Place paper baking cup in each muffin cup.
Make and bake mix as directed on box. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
Iced cupcake with vanilla frosting then make ribbon with pink icing.

Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe halloween. My day started early taking the munchkin to school. The night before we made cake pops and spooky goody bags for him to take to school this morning for his halloween party. All the kids and teachers joined the fun and dressed up. After that I had to go to work but after work I rushed to the munchkin so we could head out and go trick or treating.

I've realized that since I've had my son halloween is not the same anymore to me. It used to be about getting a costume that was sexy and cute but now it's all about being scary or boyish. My munchkin loves it that I join the fun with him and I love the fact that I can entertain him with my last minute costumes.

Trunk or Treat!

Trunk or Treat is a halloween event that the boy's job throws for the military families in San Diego. The whole theme of the trunk or treat is to decorate your cars trunk so all the kids can trick or treat from trunk to trunk. There is also arts and crafts to do, games, and food for the whole family. This was our first time attending it and Jacob had a blast!

They had a huge spooky tent so we can eat and do crafts.
