      <p>We are a staffing and recruiting services company which helps companies find  top college student and recent graduate talent. </p>
   	    <h3>The Story of ROCS<a name="OurStory" id="OurStory"></a></h3>
      <p>It all began in 2003, when two college students became frustrated with the typical college job offerings such as selling kitchen knives, painting houses, and every other job using the phrase: &ldquo;Residual Income&rdquo; or &ldquo;Make Thousands From Your Dorm Room.&rdquo; They set out to create a place where students and recent grads could find jobs that related to their career interests and goals. ROCS was born...</p>
<p>ROCS has  now worked with hundreds of companies in the Northern Virginia and Washington DC metropolitan areas and has helped thousands of students and recent grads find a great job.</p>
      <h3>Our Mantra</h3>
      <p>It&rsquo;s all about finding students and recent grads jobs. We could have opted for other careers, but we stuck to our beliefs since day one and have enjoyed every second of it. Whether we&rsquo;re talking to a customer or a student on campus, this is what we get up for in the morning.</p>

   	  <p>We think being involved in the community entails more than holding up a check and giving it to an organization. We're proud to say that we volunteer for a few causes we believe in as well. We feel we've had a great opportunity to succeed, and are focused on giving back when we can. Here are some of the causes you'll find members of the ROCS team supporting:</p>

       	  <h4>Big Brothers Big Sisters</h4>
          <p>Tom has always been the Big Brother to his younger Sister and Brother. So naturally, Tom fit in when he saw an opportunity to make a difference in a young person's life. Now, Tom is a Big Brother to a young person in the area, as a result of volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area. <a href="http://www.bbbsnca.org/">more&nbsp;&rsaquo;</a></p> 
                <h4>Colleges + Universities</h4>
          <p>ROCS works with many Universities throughout the country. Tom and Brandon also serve as guest speakers at a variety of campuses regarding youth entrepreneurship. </p>
          <h4>GMU Business Roundtable</h4>
             <p>Along with other companies in the area, we are proud to be part of the GMU Business Roundtable, a network of GMU Alumni and friends focused on building mutually-beneficial relationships between business people that have a wealth of knowledge and influence. <a href="http://gmubr.com/">more&nbsp;&rsaquo;</a></p>

        <h4>Youth Business Initiative (YBI)</h4>
          <p>A non-profit organization based in Northern Virginia, the Youth Business Initiative helps and supports foster youth successfully transition out of the foster care system to independence.</p>
                  <h4>Chantilly Youth Association (CYA)</h4>
          <p>Despite a lack of an NBA contract or playing in college, you can't keep us away from b-ball. CYA provides us with a great outlet to showcase our b-ball coaching skills. We proudly boast a Championship team from '07 and have yet to throw a chair at any of our players.</p>
          <h4>Society of HR Management (SHRM)</h4>
	  <p>We always like to stay on top of the HR industry, rules, regulations, etc. There's no better way to do that than keeping up with the industry expertise, knowledge and resources from SHRM. <a href="http://shrm.org/">more&nbsp;&rsaquo;</a></p>

    <h4>ROCS Mad Marchness Tournament Extravaganza</h4>
      <p>We don't condone gambling, but we figure we'd act as another outlet for distraction in the month of March. March Madness is incredibly addictive and full of bragging rights to the random co-worker who knows jack about college hoops. So, each year since 2004, we have hosted the ROCS Mad Marchness Tournament Extravaganza, which is free to play and hands out some awesome  prizes. <a href="http://www.rocsstaffing.com/mad-marchness/">more&nbsp;&rsaquo;</a></p>
