<p>Bengaluru is a paradise for dosa lovers, and if you&#8217;re craving that perfect crispy, buttery delight, these seven places should be on your must-visit list!</p>

<p><strong>1. Rameshwaram Café</strong> </p>

<p>A name synonymous with quality, Rameshwaram Café impresses not just with its open kitchen but also with its flavorful dosas. The <strong>Ghee Pudi Masala Dosa</strong> is a standout – a crispy delight generously coated with coarse pudi masala and a lavish amount of ghee. The masala is perfectly balanced, making it an irresistible treat. Don’t miss this one as they are open from 5am till 1am. <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f4cd.png" alt="📍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong>Locations</strong>: Rajajinagar, JP Nagar, Indiranagar, Whitefield</p>

<p><strong>2. Kappi Katte</strong></p>

<p>This hidden gem in Rajarajeshwari Nagar is always packed – and for good reason! Their <strong>Ghee Masala Dosa</strong> is a crispy, golden masterpiece drenched in ghee, making it melt in your mouth. Served simply with coconut chutney, this place is a go-to for an affordable yet delicious dosa experience.</p>

<p><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f4cd.png" alt="📍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong>Locations</strong>: Rajarajeshwari Nagar</p>

<p><strong>3. Airlines Hotel</strong></p>

<p>A true Bengaluru icon, Airlines Hotel offers a charming open-air dining experience. While service can be a bit slow due to the kitchen being separate from the seating area, the <strong>Butter Masala Dosa</strong> is worth the wait. Though slightly pricey, the nostalgia and ambiance make it a memorable visit.<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f4cd.png" alt="📍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong>Location</strong>: Lavelle Road</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/photo-collage.png.png" rel="lightbox-0"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/photo-collage.png-1024x1024.png" alt="7 Best Dosa Spots in Bengaluru" class="wp-image-7874" title="7 Best Dosa Spots in Bengaluru" srcset="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/photo-collage.png-1024x1024.png 1024w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/photo-collage.png-300x300.png 300w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/photo-collage.png-150x150.png 150w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/photo-collage.png-768x768.png 768w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/photo-collage.png-80x80.png 80w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/photo-collage.png-320x320.png 320w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/photo-collage.png-120x120.png 120w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/photo-collage.png.png 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></a></figure>

<p><strong>4. Chalukya Samrat Café</strong></p>

<p>Once an iconic chain, Chalukya Samrat has reinvented itself with a stylish café inside a food court in Church Street. Their <strong>Ghee Roast Masala Dosa</strong> is one of the crispiest in Bengaluru, making it a must-try. While it’s on the expensive side, the beautiful setting enhances the experience.</p>

<p><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f4cd.png" alt="📍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong>Locations</strong>: Church Street</p>

<p><strong>5. ‘Dose’ of Davanagere</strong></p>

<p>For something different, head to <strong>‘Dose’ of Davanagere</strong> in Jayanagar. Their <strong>Butter Masala Dose</strong> is made on a traditional wood-fired tawa and topped with melting white butter. Served with two types of chutney, the rich buttery flavour sets this dosa apart. A true indulgence!</p>

<p><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f4cd.png" alt="📍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong>Locations</strong>: Jayanagar</p>

<p><strong>6. CTR &#8211; Central Tiffin Room</strong></p>

<p>A legendary spot in Malleshwaram, CTR is always buzzing with dosa enthusiasts. Their <strong>Benne Masala Dose</strong> is a crowd favourite, drawing long queues right from breakfast hours of eager diners. If you’re a fan of crispy, buttery dosas, this one is worth the wait!</p>

<p><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f4cd.png" alt="📍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong>Locations</strong>: Malleshwaram</p>

<p><strong>7. Dakshin Thindi</strong> </p>

<p>Located in Jayanagar, this new chain of quick-service Darshinis has quickly become a local favourite. If you&#8217;re looking for the perfect balance of crunch and softness, their Butter Masala Dosa is a must-try!</p>

<p><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f4cd.png" alt="📍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong>Locations</strong>: Jayanagar (Ashoka Pillar, Jayanagar 5th Block)</p>

<p>FreshMojo offers variety of ready-to-cook meals right kits at your doorsteps all over Bengaluru! Their menu comprises of Salads, Sandwiches, Indian Curries, Burger, Biryani and much more. Ready-to-cook meals are in high demand due to limited time people have for cooking homely meals. FreshMojo perfectly fits in this space by providing all the ingredients required to cook. All we need to do is read the instruction provided with each kit and follow them step by step.</p>

<p>We recently ordered few of their meal kits online and within few hours the kits were delivered right at our door steps. These had all the fresh veggies, breads, masalas needed to prepare the meal. Vegetables like potatoes, rolled chapati, etc. were vacuum packaged so that the freshness is not lost. We tried their Greek Salad, Vegetable Sandwich, Aloo Jeera with Rolled Chapati and Vegetable Biryani.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex">
<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0015-scaled.jpg" rel="lightbox-0"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="684" data-id="7186" src="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0015-1024x684.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-7186" srcset="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0015-1024x684.jpg 1024w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0015-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0015-768x513.jpg 768w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0015-1536x1025.jpg 1536w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0015-2048x1367.jpg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></a></figure>
</figure>

<p><strong>Greek Salad:</strong> The Greek Salad comes in a box packing with fresh lettuce, cucumber, colored capsicum, olives, onion, tomatoes, feta cheese. There was a mix nuts pack with the salad which contained flax, pumpkin, sunflower and sesame seeds. The salad dressing had olive oil, apple cider vinegar, pink salt, garlic, salt and pepper and lots of lemon juice. Overall, the salad had all the textures needed. The veggies were super fresh and the combo was delicious. </p>

<p><strong>Vegetable Sandwich:</strong> The Vegetable Sandwich from FreshMojo comes with 2 layers between fresh white bread. One is from the fresh veggies like cucumber, tomato and lettuce. The next layer is from the vegetable coleslaw made with eggless mayonnaise, cabbage, red capsicum and red cabbage. This comes with a spicy mayonnaise by the side. The sandwich was filling and had good taste.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0050-scaled.jpg" rel="lightbox-1"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="684" src="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0050-1024x684.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-7188" srcset="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0050-1024x684.jpg 1024w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0050-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0050-768x513.jpg 768w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0050-1536x1025.jpg 1536w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/DSC_0050-2048x1367.jpg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></a></figure>

<p><strong>Aloo Jeera and Chapati:</strong> The Aloo Jeera is made with a spicy mix of cumin, onion, tomatoes and green chilies. You need to cook them in a pan/kadhai. Once the instructions are followed, the Aloo Jeera came out to be surprisingly tasty. The Chapati were a bit thin and hence tend to get very crispy. But, loved this combo meal which gets prepared in under 20 mins. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/New-folder-1-scaled.jpg" rel="lightbox-2"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/New-folder-1-1024x576.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-7189" srcset="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/New-folder-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/New-folder-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/New-folder-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/New-folder-1-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/New-folder-1-2048x1152.jpg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></a></figure>

<p><strong>Vegetable Biryani:</strong> Everyone&#8217;s favourite biryani is only 20mins away. The combo has everything you need to prepare the biryani right from ghee to masala to pre-soaked rice and even preparing the raita. Just mix everything as instructed and give the pressure cooker 3 whistles. Enjoy the biryani with the raita mix provided in the kit itself. The taste of the Biryani was amazing!! </p>

<p>The experience with FreshMojo is filled with fresh ingredients, clear instructions and delicious outcomes. </p>

<p>Mangalore or Mangaluru is a coastal city in Karnataka. It is known for its rich heritage, culture and ofcourse food. The town is well connected from Bangalore and takes around 7-8hours to reach depending on the road conditions. Roaming in and around Mangalore is a breeze, thanks to the auto-rickshaws here, which take you to every nook and corner, that too at meter rates (something that you definitely don’t see in Bangalore).</p>

<p>Some of the places that we strolled around are:</p>

<ol class="wp-block-list"><li>Sri Mangaladevi Temple &#8211; Located in the heart of the city, Mangalore is named after this temple only. Built in the 9th century the temple still holds most of its structure. As per legends the temple was believed to be built by Lord Parashurama himself. Once inside, immerse yourself in the spiritual world and take a leisurely walk around the temple premises.&nbsp;</li></ol>

<ol class="wp-block-list" start="2"><li>Panambur Beach / Tannirbhavi Beach &#8211; Located on the Mangalore &#8211; Udupi Highway, this beach is popular among locals as well as tourists. The approach road to Panambur Beach may be filled with oil tankers but once you&#8217;re on the beach enjoy the cool breeze and the clean sand. This Beach has few eateries and shopping shacks. Just dip your feets in the cool water and enjoy the sunset/sunrise. Avoid going here during the day as it may get too hot. A near-by option is Tannirbhavi Beach which is less crowded with a better approach road. </li></ol>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><a href="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/New-folder.jpg" rel="lightbox-0"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/New-folder.jpg" alt="Mangalore Trip" class="wp-image-6903" title="Mangalore Trip" srcset="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/New-folder.jpg 1024w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/New-folder-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/New-folder-768x432.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></a></figure>

<p>Dravyam extracts oil using traditional wood cold pressed techniques without heating or adding any chemicals. This slow process of extracting oil without heating it to a high temperature preserves all its nutrients and enzymes. It is not only good for health but also enhances taste as well. Dravyam maintains a great source of the raw material so that the premium quality of its oil is maintained. Dravyam even goes one step further when it comes to extraction of these oils. The oil is made in a stone mill with a wooden pestle rotating slowly without damaging the key nature of these oil, just like the way our ancestors used to extract from thousands of years. The oils are kept unrefined so that the natural sediments are not removed. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="684" src="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/DSC_9316.jpg" alt="Dravyam - Wood Cold Pressed Oil" class="wp-image-6105" srcset="https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/DSC_9316.jpg 1024w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/DSC_9316-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.rohitdassani.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/DSC_9316-768x513.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>These oils are chemical-free unlike the oils we use these days being treated with chemicals like Sodium, Hexane, Hydroxide, Bleaching Agents, Sodium bicarbonate etc. We recently tried some of their oils which are packed in different quantities like 200ml, 500ml, 1liter and even 5liter packing. These oils enhance the taste of the food significantly as it contains no preservatives. &nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Coconut Oil </strong>– Great source of saturated fat, this oil saturated at room temperatures. It also contains Lauric acid which has antibacterial, antiviral and antioxidant properties. It helps in weight loss, improves immune system, increases HDL or good cholesterol. The cold pressed coconut oil can be used for both internal and external usage.</p>

<p><strong>Groundnut Oil </strong>– This is a vegetable oil derived from peanuts. It is a great source of Vitamin E, an antioxidant that protects our body from free radical damage and reducing the risk of heart diseases. Great source of unsaturated fats, minerals and can be used as skin care as well.</p>

<p><strong>Sunflower Oil </strong>– It is made with poly-saturated fats which lowers cholesterol levels, boosts skin care and energy levels, reduces inflammation in body. This oil is known to even have anti-cancer potential.</p>

<p><em>Note: Sediments are part of the natural cold pressed oils and you may see them floating around. If kept untouched for a longtime the sediments can settle at the bottom. </em></p>

<p>Dravyam also extract variety of other oils like Sesame Oil / Castor Oil / Bhringaraj Oil / Safflower Oil in various quantities. Buy Dravyam Cold Pressed oil today from <a href="http://www.dravyam.in">www.dravyam.in</a></p>
