The Mirror Publicly Apologizes To Cristiano Ronaldo

Following a recent court victory, where Cristiano Ronaldo was granted an undisclosed amount to cover damages to his reputation, the Mirror has publicly apologized to Cristiano Ronaldo for these accusations regarding an alleged drinking ‘bender’. In the apology, the Mirror accepts that their front page article, titled “Ron the Lash”, printed on 17 July of 2008, was ‘falsely reported that whilst recovering from an operation to his ankle’. The apology goes on to state that ‘Cristiano did not “go on a bender”, did not drink any alcohol that evening, did not spend £10,000 on alcohol, nor throw his crutches to the floor or try to dance.’

Portugal’s 3-0 2010 world cup qualifying victory vs Hungary, came at a very steep price with Cristiano Ronaldo re-injuring his ankle. The injury will most likely keep Cristiano Ronaldo out of Portugal’s match vs Malta on Wednesday and possibly our of Real Madrid’s game vs Valladolid on the weekend.

War Of Wizards Breaks Out Around Cristiano Ronaldo

Recently, it has been made public that Cristiano Ronaldo’s ankle injury was allegedly the result of a wizards curse. This wizards curse is being attributed to 57-year-old Spanish Wizard based in Malaga Spain by the name Pepe. According to gossip around the Internet, the Spanish Wizard was allegedly given €15,000 by an unnamed famous non-European woman to put the hex on Cristiano Ronaldo. The spanish wizard has also claimed that he has put his own personal curse on Cristiano Ronaldo with the aim of finishing off Cristiano’s career. The news of the Spanish wizard’s curse reached the ear of a Portuguese wizard by the name of Fernando Nogueira known as ‘The Wizard Of Fafe’ who has supposedly put a counter-spell with the hope of blocking the Spanish Wizards Voodoo curse.

We just hope that Cristiano Ronaldo gets better soon, so our money is on the Portuguese Wizard. That is, if you believe such things .

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored another two goals for Real Madrid in a Champions League game. Making it four goals in two games and putting Ronaldo in the lead for scoring in the Champions League Competition.

Ronaldo’s first goal of the night came at the 58th minute when he accepted a brilliant pass and kicked the ball under the Marseille’s goaltender’s feet.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s second goal came just six minutes later when he guided the ball into the net after Benzema made a great pass.

Real Madrid won tonight’s game by a score of 3-0.

Cristiano Ronaldo looked dangerous throughout the game as he scored early to open give Real a 1-0 lead in the first minute of the game. He netted another goal, this time a header, late in the first half. Cristiano ronaldo’s impressive goal scoring has silenced many of the naysayers. It appears that Cristiano Ronaldo has found his groove early in the season, and only time will tell how the rest of the season unfolds. There’s no doubt that many of the Manchester United brass will look closely at how successful Cristiano Ronaldo will be in Madrid, hoping that he doesn’t make their decision to sell him to Madrid a wrong one.

In an interesting turn of events, it appears that Real Madrid are unhappy at how Cristiano Ronaldo was treated by the home crowd in Zurich the other night after the 5-2 shellacking of FC Zurich at the hands of Real. Apparently, Los Merengues’ director Emilio Butragueno, has signaled his disappointment with Zurich. Interestingly, most directors tend to look the other way in situations of fan conduct, unless it is a matter of safety, but given that Cristiano is a very important part of the team, Real Madrid are apparently unhappy that their star athlete was treated in this manner.

We love Cristiano Ronaldo, but seriously, you cannot censor the voice of the fans and it seems to us that Real’s reaction to this particular situation is being blown out of proportion. If anything, Real should be flattered that the Zurich fans fear and awe of the mighty Cristiano Ronaldo. Cristiano is a big boy, and he is no stranger to this type of abuse, it comes with being the world’s greatest player. The Zurich fans are just expressing their fear and respect for Cristiano Ronaldo, and we think that Real should chill out.
