The details to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid contract have been disclosed.

Cristiano Ronaldo signed a six year deal that will pay him €237,000 per week in his first year with the Spanish giants, and will increase every year by 25%. The contract also grants Cristiano 60% of his image rights.

Cristiano will also save huge amounts of money on income tax. The prospect of a 50% income tax in the United Kingdom is very real and could be implemented by April 2010. If the increase in taxes in the United Kingdom go forth, it will undoubtedly drive other superstars out of the Premier league.

Reports from the Manchester United camp have the Reds accepting a world record transfer offer from Real Madrid to the tune of  £80million.

This offer acceptance from Manchester United clears the way for Cristiano Ronaldo to speak to Real Madrid.

“At Cristiano’s request – who has again expressed his desire to leave – and after discussion with the player’s representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player. Matters are expected to be concluded by 30 June.”

CNN has reported in the last couple of hours that  Cristiano Ronaldo’s future may be at Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo recently granted an interview to a Spanish radio station called Atena 3. Cristiano Ronaldo stated during the interview that he is focussing on next week’s Champions League final versus Spanish rivals, Barcelona.

“It will be very difficult to do it again, because Barcelona have a good team, great players and a great coach,” he said

“The two teams are very good, they play very well and they have dream squads.”

“It’s a battle of teams,” he said.

“Without my team I won’t win and neither will Messi without his team-mates.

“It’s clear that we are the two best teams in Europe. It will be the match every fan dreamed about.”

He also said that he doesn’t care what happens at Real Madrid next year, and that he is only interested in what happens at Manchester United next year.

“At the moment I am only thinking about the Champions League final independently of what will happen to me or my team-mates next season,” he said.

“I am sure Perez would create an incredible team at Madrid but at the moment I am at United and I don’t care about what happens there.

“I only care about what will happen next season at Manchester United.”

Jamaican born Usain Bolt who holds the record for the 100 and 200 meter dash and is a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, recently asked for a number seven Manchester United shirt.  Cristiano Ronaldo happily obliged.  Cristiano Ronaldo had one request from Bolt.  His request?  A few tips to improve his speed.

The meeting was originally set for this weekend while Usain competes in the 150 meter street race in  Manchester, but it was almost put off after Usain’s recent car accident in Kingston Jamaica.

On Friday, the world’s fastest man spent the morning with Manchester United players and gave Cristiano the speed tips that he so wanted.

“I explained to him a few things about when he is running and reaches top speed he starts to tip over, he always does that. I let him know if he brings his foot on the centre of gravity, or even in front of him, it will be much easier. He will be much better and he will go faster for longer.”

Cristiano Ronaldo has become the best footballer in the world because of the love that he has for the sport, ambition to be the best and a wanting to take care of his family.  When Cristiano signed the ‘big’ contract several years ago with Manchester United, he was relieved to know that his ambition to make his family comfortable could now come to fruition.  After signing the contract, Cristiano gave his sister Elma, a job.  Not just any job, he bought her her own shop in Madeira Portugal.  CR7 has become a huge success  since it’s inauguration and has since then, opened another shop in Portugal’s capital city of Lisbon.

A few days ago the CR7 shop in Madeira was the target of Robbery.  Elma was in the shop during the incident and stood back as the mob of thieves helped themselves to whatever they wanted.  They also said a few words to Cristiano’s sister that will remain with her.  One of the mob members told Cristiano’s sister, Elma, that her brother was “cuckoo for scoring against Porto in the Champions league quarter finals several weeks ago.  In essense, they called Cristiano a traitor for scoring against a Portuguese team.

These creeps obviously don’t represent the majority of Portuguese people (not even die hard Porto fans), who were appalled with the actions and words of the theives.

Looks like the highly popular social networking website have removed Cristiano Ronaldo’s public profile.

According to Facebook, the Cristiano Ronaldo public profile which had an incredible 2.9 million fans, a statistic that is second only to new United States president, Barrack Obama, was removed because the profile violates their Terms Of Service.  The problem is that the Cristiano Ronaldo profile on facebook wasn’t run by Cristiano Ronaldo or any of his official representatives.  The profile was overseen by a big soccer fan from Pakistan, named Kunwar Ali.  Ali had tacit approval from Cristiano Ronaldo’s agency.

Many Cristiano Ronaldo fans have labeled the move by Facebook to be overkill.  They claim that the website should have done more and try to  facilitate a joint administration agreement like the one they did for the most popular Facebook Coca-Cola profile which was created not by the soft drink company, but by fans.

The goal itself was spectacular, a screamer which went flying past Porto goalkeeper and into the back of the net.  His goal was the only goal in the game which gave the Reds the victory.
