Hello everyone!
Thanks to the generosity of friends I will somehow be attending emerald city comicon as penniless patron on friday and saturday. I wont have a booth or nothing fancy like that, but I will be there milling around the con floor along with friends of mine. If you happen see me there, please run up to me and give me a wicked high five. I shall be the guy with the big red star on his back.

If your planning on getting one, your last chance to get on at the crazy cheap prices ends Friday. On Saturday my prices go back to the ranges more competitive with other artists of my level.

I know root rot has been suffering from a lot of heavy delays lately, so I’d like to try and apologize.

A while ago I moved back up to portland from Colorado and I’m still sommwhat suffering from  latent effects of moving. Namely looking for employment. Currently all my income is from various commissions I’ve been pulling in. On top of that this next page has a shit load of detail in it and it’s taking forever.

Here’s a preview of the page so far.

I know none of those are very legitimate excuses and you’re al probably tired of hearing me apologize, but I really am very sorry. I need to get my shit together.

if all goes well the page should be finished on Sunday.

Oh my god, guys. I am so fucking sorry.

Since last I updated I have:

-Packed up my things and moved from Colorado back out to Oregon.
-Spent a week in a hotel while I and my roommates searched for a 3 bed apartment within our price range that was close to work and school.
-Started taking classes at my new school.
-Found a sweet-ass apartment and started the application process.
-Moved into my new place and out of the hotel.
-Scrambled to catch up with comics and commissions.

Again, I do apologize, but I’ve had a lot on my plate recently. I’d like to thank everybody who is still on board, and especially thank those who dropped by now and then to leave a comment or two while I was out. It really does mean the world to me.

As for the people who were waiting on commissions, I am also so very sorry. It took a bit longer than usual to get those to you, but I honestly got them done as fast as I could. There was actually a huge spike of commissions as soon as I took off to leave town. I did everybody’s in order of when they requested it, and now I only have one left.

This particular commissioner requested a full color with background of Chief Samantha Cobalt. I’ll be working on finishing that all day today in an effort to finish it before tomorrow and I’m gonna try and stream as much of that process as my internet connection will allow me, so check back now and then today to see whats up.

I’m still staying in the hotel by the airport, so the next page is going take a bit longer. I start classes again today and it takes me an hour to get to school from here. But the page is all sketched out so all i need to do is ink and color it.
