1. I received the most amazing crystal infused lotion from Gypsy Moth Sol in the mail the other day. Im tellin' ya, this is good shit. Like, the best lotion ever. Im so in love. And her packaging just makes it a million times sweeter, its so beautiful! 6. The beautiful red poof was a gift from Kinsey from her trip to India, and I finally found enough fabric to stuff it with. I adore it so much. Such a thoughtful gift to bring all the way back across the globe! xo And I redecorated my window corner and it is so peaceful now!

7. Shake. I can't even tell you how many shakes Ive had over the past 10 days from my fast. And Im having another one right now as I type this. The fast has ended now. Im so glad I did it and did not cave! Such a wonderful experience.

8. While I was cleaning out my studio I found this old drawing I did, my freshman year of high school. I still love her so much. I hung her up in my new studio space!

9. The studio 'pre' makeover. Im so excited about my new space. I spent 3 solid 12 hour days decluttering, tearing down, and redoing my studio. I love it!

A silly quickie outfit post with my phone from the other day. This was Saturday when James and I went looking for garage sales. The day before we went to two thrift shops and I found this adorable hat. They had a brown one too that I should of got. They were so cheap, but I was being even cheaper. ;)

On the way home we stopped by to see my friend Bird and little baby Laurel. She is so sweet! She just looks and looks at you. She was fascinated with my hat. Like James face? Ha ha.

We didn't find any good garage sales b/c we were too late. But there was a little sale going on at our local American Legion and there was the sweetest lady selling rocks and gemstones. She said she had been collecting rocks her whole life, since her dad did too. She was so happy for these rocks to go to another rock lover. I was fascinated with the colors and textures of these. Treasures.

CUSTOM GYPSY FLAGS

These are a few of my favorite custom Gypsy Flags and Dreamcatchers that Ive made recently. These are absolutely my favorite things to create. And making custom pieces with a certain person in mind is so fun. My favorites are when someone gives me a hint of what they want, or a phrase and color scheme, and then just let me go with it. The top flag is one of my absolute favorites of all time. It was created for the beautiful Rebeca of Gypsies Caravan.

And the second one I made for the sweet little baby girl Laurel who you saw here.

Today has been an interesting day... I woke up to my internet not working, which was actually a blessing. Ive had a photoshoot in mind for a while and I wanted to do it for this full moon report coming up on friday. So I spent half of the day working on that. Actually doing the entire shoot twice b/c I was so frustrated with the lighting, and don't LOVE either of them. But I think there was enough to at least get a few photos I like. Once I was done, it looked like a bomb exploded in my house! Which put me over the edge and made me do some MAJOR cleaning for hours around the house. So my butt has not hit the chair until now, 6:00 pm. Even though Im exhausted, Im grateful for no internet today! Its amazing what you can get done when you don't have any distractions! I think a nice bath is in order tonite...

This little number is what I wore yesterday. We both had eye appointments and James had the day off, so we left a bit early to hit up some thrift shops. I found just a few golden finds. Im particularly excited about the black suede fedora I found for $3. I actually felt guilty for spending $3 on it! When your trying to save $$ it puts you in a whole different mindset.

I think summer has decided to finally really creep in here in Texas. The past few days have been so muggy and hot, and I know its only the beginning. I hope we keep getting more rain so we can swim in the river! I miss the river. Its about time we get our butts down there. Its kind of hard to believe we are creeping up on the end of May already. This month. I knew I had alot on my plate as far as deadlines. I have about 4 different June 1st deadlines on wonderful projects Im contributing to. And each one still seems so undone and far away from the finish line. But I know it will all come together. Time just flies by. It really really does.

I went to my second session of therapy yesterday. She introduced me to the EMDR method. It felt a bit silly at first, but I can see where it might go, so I look forward to continuing. I felt more relaxed this time... I could tell through my body language. One hour goes by insanely fast.

Today is day 6 of my no solid food fast. Im actually really surprised how easy it has been. The first two days were no fun at all. Upset tummy all day and horrible migraines. But day 3 was better, and its been getting better since. I hardly even feel hungry which is really surprising for just having smoothies, pureed soups, teas and water. 5 more days to go. I hope it only gets better. I know not everyone else is experiencing the same ease, and I hate that. I didn't think I could survive without coffee. Literally. But, Im proving myself wrong! Its been a test of will, and its really shown me that I can have strength in the face of willpower. I did by myself a salted almond chocolate bar as my reward for when Im done, and I cannot wait to eat it!!!

Inspired by one of my favorite Tom Petty songs... Oh how I long to just run free through a field like this one above. Im in love with all of the colors and textures in this palette.

Im thinking about integrating my Bohemian Collective blog posts over here instead of having a separate blog for it... I'm not entirely sure about this transition. All I know is Im having a really hard time keeping up with both sites, so this may re-inspire me in a new direction with it all. I miss sharing beautiful things and creative artists like I did over there, as well as our own creative fashion shoots... So, I may give a go over here for a while and see how it flows... (I love the site over there, so its a hard choice for me, but I also want to not feel like I'm abandoning the space. Sometimes simpler is better...) So for now, time will tell... Will you follow along with me as I re-arrange...

SHEDDING SKIN

Since the last full moon, I have intentionally been working on 'shedding skins'. Releasing layers of myself that no longer serve me. I have quite a few of them. The ones Im really focusing on are the ones that keep me separated in ways with my husband, or with others I'm close to. Other layers are ones that keep me wrapped in fear, of oh so many things. This week I have felt a few of those layers slowly making their way down my body, flaking off here and there as they shed. I'm learning the shedding process is just that, a process. For me at least, its not something that can just be ripped off, thrown away, and forgotten. It's a slow, messy, submergence into the shadow realm of self, followed by a rip by rip by rip releasing of this old skin. There have even been times I find myself obsessively sewing back together this old skin because it was comfortable and familiar, only to once again rip by rip release it.

I think this shed snake skin I found in my backyard yesterday was a beautiful reminder of the new life that is being created in me right now as I release these skins.

SOUL SISTERS

Today two of my soul sisters, two women who I adore with such depth, are both releasing their new nests online. Rain has been working hard for the past several weeks designing and developing both of their new sites, and I could not be more proud of her. I just want to weep with joy for both of them. And the e-course they are cooking up together is going to be insanely divine. I cannot wait to take part in it. They are currently offering an early bird sign up for Soulsigh - A Sacred Blessingway until June 15th. Even the name of the course makes me weak in knees. I will be contributing a guest post for the course and Im wildly excited about it!

SPIRIT SOUL EARTH

Rain's new home is called Spirit Soul Earth. How divine is that? This girl has shown me how to love myself more deeply. She has shown me how to receive. She speaks to the hardest to find crevices of my soul, long forgotten places that Ive neatly tucked away in domesticated life. She gently reminds me through her words of the layers of myself that are soaked with wild spirit. And her voice... I can't even tell you what her voice does to me... Go see her spirit for yourself in her new home.

FAE SOUL

Denise's new home is Fae Soul. In a way it feels like her finding her home again after a long journey through the woods of Boho Girl. This beautiful woman reminds me that I always have a soft place to land. She gives me gentle reminders of the sweetness of everyday life, including the messes and the pain. Her voice is like a warm cup of tea, lavender oil and your coziest blanket all wrapped up around you on a hammock during spring. She is truly a woman I feel safe and real with, which is priceless.

I am so excited and full of joy and anticipation for what these two gentle, wild souls have to offer this world. Just in the way that I know their hearts, I know its going to be big and pure.

A BEAUTIFUL MESS APP

I'm so excited that today Elsie & Emma's new A Beautiful Mess app just came out! Ive been having fun playing with it this morning after weeks of anticipation! It's super cute, and sooooo them! Im so very proud of them for putting this together, I know it was alot of hard work. Go download it now through Itunes. MANIFESTING ABUNDANCE

This month I am taking Laura Emily's Manifesting Abundance course, and so far its been a beautiful thing to mix spirit with finance. I set up my sacred space for this month just for this, manifesting. Ill show more of it later... These are just a few from my new moon solar eclipse night with this space. I burned a candle along with some herbs and citrine quartz while stating all of the abundance I am manifesting at this time. I've been writing these things down for months now it seems, but it felt really good to just sit there and verbally speak them out loud as they came to me.

Seeing my friends baby come into this world this week has actually shifted my perspective in alot of ways, and has all of a sudden made me realize that having a child really is something I want in my life, sooner than later. Ive been so scared for so long since my mom died, but I think now being surrounded by my closest friends having their own first time babies, its shifted something in me. Seeing that even though her pregnancy and birth did not go the way she dreamt it would at all, but seeing her face when she got to hold her baby, just made all of that go away and so worth it. And seeing Jeff's face the day she was born made me know exactly how James would feel, and I want him to experience that. Kind of crazy how one little baby can all of a sudden create this feeling inside of me.

Im also about to be doing a 10 day fast with Laura Emily that starts tomorrow. (you can still join us by today!!!) It's going to be an intense one though. Im so nervous, but looking forward to the detox and release from it. The perfect timing for the things Ive been shedding lately. It will be the physical part to my emotional/spiritual release. Warning: I may be very grumpy for the next two weeks, ha ha! I have no idea! <---- I think that is more of a warning to my husband!

Happy mother's day to everyone! Including those who are not mothers to children, but who are mothers to creativity and healers of the earth. We are all mothers in one way or another.

LIFE DEATH LIFE CYCLE

I have been getting messages for a while to pay attention to my winged friends, and the messages they bring. I knew a new bird energy was going to enter my life soon, I just didn't expect it to be through death. Last week I dreamt about a lot of dead birds that were just killed and thrown in the back of a restaurant. I remember coming across them and wanting to steal them so I could take them home and lovingly bury them. Then a little girl and her mom walked up and the little girl went right up to the dead birds, picked up a blue one and asked her mom if she could take it home. She looked at me and I knew she felt the same thing I did. I woke up with the strangest feeling, and the images of that dream keep popping into my head.

Then the day we went to the hospital to see Laurel Lea be born, I found this American Robin dead on the sidewalk when we left. It was late, dark, we were hungry and in a rush to get home. I wanted to take it but didn't have anything to pick it up with, and James was a bit hesitant, so we just moved him into the bushes behind the building with some sticks and leaves. The whole next day I couldn't stop thinking about him. So when we went to visit her again yesterday, I brought a towel and a box. When we got in the car James asked me what the box was for. He quickly realized. When we arrived our friend was on the phone so we stood outside for a moment with him. I went to check to see if the bird was still there and make sure he wasn't covered in ants or bugs. He wasn't. I left him there until we were going to leave. When I came back over to tell James it was still there, I looked down and spotted this little baby Warbler, dead. Right next to us. I couldn't believe it! What were the odds? I rarely see dead birds. So, I grabbed this little guy too when we left. If anyone saw me I probably looked like a crazy lady, but I had to. Even though Im sure James would of rather Id left them there, Im glad he was able to be okay with it. Then on the way home, I saw a huge dead vulture.

I have had alot of deep things Ive been trying to release for the past several months, and with this new moon solar eclipse, I felt the timing of these little guys showing up in my life to be just right. A message of release, letting go of things that need to die in my life in order to bring in new life. And all happening as one of my best friends birthed her first child, who has already given me major baby fever. And as Im typing this Im watching my mother Swallow sit on her second batch of eggs this season, right after her babies just flew the coop.

I buried the two little birdies together this morning under a big oak tree. I buried them with a double terminated quartz I just received. I got it for my own masculine/feminine & relationship healing, but I felt they needed it. I also sent them off with some white sage and two rose petals, the same thing I used in the ceremony for releasing my daddy. It just felt right and calm for them. Then I covered them with two stones from my home. I am preserving their wings as a reminder of their beautiful message, and to continue to honor what they brought me through my remaining work in this area.

This has been a reminder in the life death life cycle we all learn from. Whether its actually losing someone or something that was special to us, or releasing old patterns and behaviors and building new life in place of them.

For those of you wandering, the new moon reports are coming up in the next hour or so. We decided to wait for today so we could all enjoy the solar eclipse energy. Be on the lookout over here in the next few hours!

MEET LAUREL LEA

Little Laurel Lea graced us with her heart melting presence yesterday at 6:39 pm. She was a bit at risk, so after about 12 hours of my friend Bird's labor failing to progress, they performed a c-section. Even though that was not what anyone wanted, we were all happy to have a healthy beautiful baby in our arms. I hate that my friend has to be in so much pain now though. But she is a trooper, so I know she can do it.

I am absolutely in awe over this little one. She has already planted a new seed of baby fever in me. I just love her so much. Just look at that little face! I took alot of sweet photos of family holding her, but I didn't want to post those here on my blog, but they are on my facebook for the family to see. It was so sweet watching Bird's dad's face light up while staring at his new grandbaby. My heart is so full of baby love right now.

This little outfit is what I wore to my friend's baby shower the other day. And these blowfish sandals have quickly become my new favorites. They call them Caroline. They are like the modern day version of the classic rope sandal. I love that they have a tiny little wedge on them for a bit of height, but not too much so they are still comfy like flats. These folks at Blowfish really think these things through. They have yet to make a shoe I hate, or even slightly just dislike.

I love pairing this crescent moon necklace from Laurel Hill with more simple outfits so its stands out. Her work is divinely exquisite, with superior quality. I could ooooohh and ahhhh all day long over this and these.

Today I will be attending my first birth. To a beautiful little soul named Laurel. One of my best friends is having her first baby! I couldn't be more excited for her. I can't wait to meet this little one. She is already so very special to me.

RELAX // EARTH OIL

I wanted to share with you this massage oil I received from Earth Oils recently. It is the yummiest massage oil I have ever used. Massages are pretty much my favorite thing in the whole world. I will never, ever pass up a massage. When James asks me if I want a massage, he already knows the answer. Which by the way, he gives some pretty amazing massages. For a while I was using a lemon scented massage oil from Burt's Bees, but it was almost an overpowering smell. So this oil I got was the perfect replacement for it, b/c it still has a citrus smell to it, but is much more subtle. A very light feminine relaxing smell. I also love that its not super greasy either. Ive actually been using it as a lotion after I shave to keep my legs from being so dry.

One of my favorite things about it is that Ally has infused it with crystal healing elements of moonstone and amazonite, two stones I am particularly drawn to. She also infuses them under the full moon, and gives them reiki energy. This is what she has written about the healing properties of these two stones:

MOONSTONE || It is strongly connected to the moon and emotions. It is one of the best stones for calming the emotions. It has receptive, passive and feminine energy to calm emotional triggers and reactions to situations. It soothes instability, stress and acts as a stabilizer of the emotions. It draws out old emotional patterns and provides deep healing. It is especially useful for relaxing and can even promote lucid dreaming as well as restful sleep.

AMAZONITE || is an extremely calming stone and soothing stone. It calms the brain and nervous system and aligns the physical body with the etheric. Soothes emotional trauma, alleviating worry and fear. Excellent for relieving anxiety and an over thinking mind. Perfect stone to use for unwinding and relaxing.

Eventually I would love to try every one of her oils, and her new and full moon bath teas. I am a bath girl. Like, a serious bath girl. So these are perfect!

This is by far my alltime favorite Poor Pitiful Pearl dress. It is so insanely 'me'. And ridiculously comfortable. This was my first day of therapy outfit, haha. Im so deeply in love with these earrings from Aurora Shadow, along with everything else in her shop. She has such a vision and it really comes through browsing through her work. I love coming across artisans that have such a cohesive style and look.

Yesterday I celebrated the upcoming birth of my besties third child, a little boy named Navarro, at her baby shower. It was a huge success with lots of people and lots of gifts for the baby to come! It was really nice just to see my friend b/c it had been way too long. And her twin came home from California just for the shower, so it was double wonderful! I made her a wall hanging for his room and hand dyed and drew a baby onesie.

Then last night we headed out to Tarpley to hang out with our friends and watch our other friends play some good tunes. It was a very nice laid back evening, just what I needed. Oh, and James made some mean sesame chicken before we left on a whim, it was freakin amazing! Yesterday was a good day.

FEBRUARY SACRED SPACE

This was my sacred space for the month of February. There is something I like about sharing these right after I tear them down. A bit of a reflection period for what transpired the month before compared to what I am now manifesting in my new space. This past month has almost felt too intense to dive into publicly. But attending my first counseling session on wednesday was a huge step for me. Im looking forward to the process of it. I have no idea what will come of it, but I expect it to be good and healing in many ways.

The past two days have brought in alot of magic and newness, acceptance and release, and overall a feeling of optimism for the future. Not that my present is bad by any means, but there is so much yet to be uncovered in these bones of mine, and I feel like I am finally able to start the process of peeling the layers back in a very honest way.

MOON - SEA - ANIMAL INSPIRED CREATIONS

After having a few weeks were I felt like I could barely step foot into my studio without having some major wave of the i-cant-sit-still-long-enough-to-get-anything-done syndrome wash over me... the past few days that has changed, and it has been such a beautiful creative feeling. What came out of it were some of my favorite works to date. Including the bottom piece you see with the deer bone. I have decided I cannot part with her. But I will be making one similar for the shop when I can. So full of feminine energy its unreal. It just felt so good to be in my studio with no objective but to create from my heart. I love those days. They are the days that remind me what I love doing most. Creating.
