You may ignore it but deep down your heart, you know that the design is extremely ordinary, if not awful to look at. Now do not blame you squarely for that. As we are into the same field, we all know how hard it is to give perfect shape to a design when the client is interrupting all the time or making all sorts of suggestions, which are somewhat not possible unless you leave your human existence. Yes, it drives us crazy and you might feel the urge to yell at someone nearby in utter frustration when you look at the final outcome, which could be just like this –

But this is not the case always. There are some glaring or glowing examples of great web designs where client’s suggestions did work. See things this way. Since we are all human beings, we cannot be right (as a designer) or wrong (clients of course) always.

Learn From Experience

If you are a seasoned designer, you might possess the divine knowledge of judging the fate of a project at the very early stage. If you spot any signs of a project to be victim of bad decision, you should take a firm stance at the very onset. When you start feeling that your client is making you compromise on the colors, font or other things that could spell doom for your design project, you need to make it clear to your client that he is wrong though not directly. You need to make him see the other side of things by letting him know that his decision is going to get the whole project down. However, if the client is adamant and threatens to stop the project, you should maintain silence unless you do not care much about losing the client. And if you choose the first path to salvation and keep praying to God.

Draw A Line

You need to draw a line between insanity and argument. If you feel that the suggestions or the arguments of the client hold some water, you need to take criticism into grace and try your level best to make whatever amendment possible. However, if you feel that suggestions are no better than insanity, you should never go down to the stupid suggestions of clients. However, I am not asking you to confront him headlong rather try to be reasonable with him by showing him a preview of the future. Tell him straight that you have been working on the same thing for the past few years and you know what is write and wrong to stop the nagging client from intervening in the project all the time.

Sometimes, clients themselves do not have any clear idea of what they want but they still feel, as they are clients, they should intervene whenever possible. If this is the case, you need to make him clear that you have got enough projects in your hands and therefore, you do not have enough time in your hands to entertain all his fancy ideas. Let him find another service provider if he refuses to budge. It is better to concentrate on other projects rather than getting yourself busy with some unproductive and fruitless tasks.

Do not Ignore Him Completely

Sometimes, it good to make somebody appear that you are all ears. It is like making him believe that you are taking care of all his suggestions but when you are paying little attention to. However, try this small trick – try to accommodate one or two of his weird suggestions into the design, it will make him feel good and at the same time, you would not have to make much compromise on the quality front.

Do not fear I am not going to stuff this article with the same boring wordpress plugins thing, you have enough of them already. Rather what I am trying to do is to list some cool yet very basic snippets and tricks that can be performed by a person without any technical knowledge and that too without burning out much of his productive hours. With them, you will be able to supercharge your wordpress blog and even, you will have the feeling that your blog is now in safe hand, I mean your hand:

Paypal Donation Link: You cannot keep on blogging like anything else unless you are not a causal blogger, or you are not that much interested about monetizing your blog. A simple solve is adding the famous Donate Me link in your blog somewhere. Though there are still some plugins available to do the trick, I suggest you get your hands dirty with the code since it is about money. Plug-ins are developed by third parties and therefore, security of these third party plug-ins may be compromised anytime, so it makes perfect sense that you need to do the coding yourself. However do not cringe at the idea of coding, you will not necessarily have to learn the intricacies of coding here.

All you need to do is to copy and paste the below code in the functions.php file

function cwc_donate_shortcode( $atts ) {

extract(shortcode_atts(array(

‘text’ => ‘Make a donation’,

‘account’ => ‘Replace this Text with your paypal account id’,

‘for’ => ”,    ), $atts));

global $post;

if (!$for) $for = str_replace(” “,”+”,$post->post_title);

return ‘<a href=”https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_xclick&business=’.$account.’&item_name=Donation+for+’.$for.’”>’.$text.’</a>’;

}

This is a pretty simple with but does wonderful thing, I mean transfer money to your paypal account whenever a gracious person makes a donation.

Auto-image resizing with shortcodes: You are tired of resizing images all the time whenever there is a need to resize images to fit a given space. Though this is not that much easy to implement, with the following guidelines, you can make it work. You just need to find an image resizing script and with Darren Hoyt’s Mimbo (Pro), phpthumb, your quest for the perfect script may virtually come to an end. So, now you have the script and open the functions.php file and then paste the following the code and wait for the magic:

function imageresizer( $atts, $content = null ) {

return ‘<img src=”/THEMEURL/phpthumb/phpThumb.php?src=’ . $content . ‘&w=500″ alt=”">’;

}

add_shortcode(‘img’, ‘imageresizer’);

A shortcode will then be created automatically and all images will be resized to 590 pixels wide. Just use the following function to make this work –

Hide/Exclude a Page or a post from Navigation: This one is my favorite. Here I am assuming that you are using wp_page_menu and you want to hide some pages from the navigation bar. Just pass this args and see the difference:

wp_page_menu(‘exclude=5,9,23′);

Now, you might be wondering what the function does this code serve? Simple, this code is making three pages – 5,9 and 23 invisible from website navigation menu. However, if the pages do not contain page id, you can use the name of the pages directly in them to make them disappear from the navigation.

“But wait… There’s more!”

“Limited time offer!”

“New and improved!”

What do all these phrases scream?

Scam.

We’ve all heard these arguments before on radio and television. Most consumers have come to recognize them for what they are. At the very least, these phrases signal absurd hype, with no real basis nor evidence from which to draw support. The fleeting claims or statements from paid actors, promises to “Get Rich Quick”, while “Barely doing anything!” are signposts, hints that one may be dealing with fraudulent forces.

So what makes Capital Online Revenue different?

First of all, Aaron Reed—founder of Capital Online Revenue—makes no ridiculous claims about the effectiveness of the program. He merely presents the facts; Capital Online Revenue is the brainchild of a simple, intuitive formula for success hand tailored to the online market. Capital Online Revenue provides you with the training that you will need in order to turn a profit on the internet. There is no guarantee that you will turn a massive profit in days, which would be unrealistic.

What Capital Online Revenue WILL GUARANTEE: supplemental income that, over time, may take the place of your day job!

If you do the work and learn the specialized aspects of the proven business formula, then there is no reason why you would be unable to grow your online business! Aaron Reed used the formula, and he turned his life around from “Average Joe” to Successful Online Entrepreneur! It worked for Aaron, it’s worked for countless entrepreneurs across the nation, and it can absolutely work for you!

You don’t even need to come prepared with specialized training in business or complicated computer tech. That is the purpose of Capital Online Revenue; to teach you everything you need to know from the ground up, and provide you with all the skills you will need to turn a profit on the internet. No further research is required!

So unless you are completely, 100% satisfied with your day job (and let’s be honest, who is?), you would be doing yourself a disservice not to investigate further. Whether you find yourself down on your luck, unemployed, under-employed, or just wanting that piece of extra income that will allow for the dream car or the lake house—avoid the scams! Capital Online Revenue is your best bet!

Bishop Jordan knows how to restore balance to your life. If you’re one of the many Americans today who is having trouble finding employment—or you are simply not happy with your current job or even your life in general—the teachings of Bishop Jordan may be of some service to you.

As society becomes more and more technical and more computerized, compartmentalized and specialized, the basic peer-to-peer relationships which human beings have relied upon since the dawn of civilization seem to be on the decline. Communications through third-party devices, such as text messages and emails, are believed to have caused an entire generation to lose their ability to read body language and mannerisms. The very technologies that have caused so much advancement in the past few decades are also responsible for our moral deficits, the complete absence of empathy and the rise of narcissism.

But Bishop Jordan wants to change all of that. The teachings of Bishop Jordan emphasize that prosperity is the main goal of most people’s lives. God wants us to be prosperous. Human beings were not put on Earth to suffer. We were put here to learn. To understand. To flourish. Lack of happiness or the lack of sense of fulfillment is often the result of imbalances. A feeling of imbalance is somewhat like a river with many tributaries, as imbalance usually comes from many different factors.

Bishop Jordan subscribes to the belief that many families encounter difficulties. As a family man himself, with a wife of several years and five children of his own, Bishop Jordan knows how hard it can be to raise a family the correct way. Problems in a family, whether they are problems with one’s spouse or children, can bog down the entire household environment. Often times these problems are intertwined, as a family is a single unit functioning off of individual parts. Bishop Jordan believes that family problems will continue to get worse if they are not properly addressed.

Bishop Jordan knows that family problems are inevitable, and lack of communication or the wrong kind of communication makes family problems more and more prevalent. The techniques Bishop Jordan teaches are extremely valuable for anyone trying to restore balance in their own family lives.

Once you learn how to restore balance, you and your family can flourish. It is impossible to be prosperous without the right state of mind.

The mass following of FireFox may be due to it’s ease of use, ability to clean up web pages and faster browsing, but also the awesome logo that FireFox has branded for themselves. In this post, we show how other designers have made their own versions of the FireFox logo.

Luckily for us, designers have taken Lebron James’s power into photoshop and brought these images to life. Can you feel the power and explosiveness of LeBron James in these digital art pieces?
