After more than a decade of informal activities, we became a registered non-profit organization in 2004. We are now a 501 c(3) non-profit organization. We are actively trying to reconnect to RPCVs living in Hawaii through our local RPCV group. Currently, our database maintains more than 600 RPCV contacts and our email list maintains more than 350 local contacts.

<itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:keywords>Bring,the,World,Home,Peace,Corps,volunteer,International,development,aid,community,United,States,Sargent,Shriver,President,Kennedy,Thailand,Southeast,Asia</itunes:keywords><itunes:summary>"Bring the World Home" is a weekly 30 minute program airing on public cable access `Olelo Channel 53. This episode features Alexi Remnek who served in Thailand from 1994-1996. Bring the World Home serves to fulfill the third goal of the <a href="http://www.peacecorps.gov/">Peace Corps</a>, to educate Americans about the other countries in which volunteers have served. Volunteers are interviewed about their 2 year volunteer service, which includes talking about the people, culture, life overseas, working conditions, the work accomplished and how these experiences have changed them.
