Thanks! It was really a hit today, too! I’ll write about that tomorrow; I was on my feet all day half of which was spent pushing a 300 lb. arcade cabinet around.

Larry: It’s not so much that we were kicked from Kickstarter, just rejected outright for specious reasons, as I explained in a previous post here: http://rpmcollective.com/2012/01/21/oak-u-tron-201x-banned-from-kickstarter/ But using “rejected” wouldn’t let me make the “Banned from the Roxy” reference. I supposed I could have gone Don Hertzfeldt, though.

d3v: Oh absolutely! They were never meant to be permanent by any means, just what we could use to get the thing built in a week. We want to replace them with pro arcade parts as soon as we can (hence the fundraising drive).

Great job. That said, the sticks used in those aren’t really up to heavy use. You should replace the parts with actual arcade components if you don’t want them to break down any time soon.
