Men's Basketball: Black Hawk East - W 63-62

The Skyhawks improve to 19-5 and 6-1 in the Arrowhead Conference by defeating Black Hawk East in overtime 63-62!

Mike Mann and Ryne Vrana led the Skyhawks with 14 points apiece with Vrana pulling down 12 rebounds. Matt Ross added 12 points and had 13 rebounds. Nice job!

Next game is February 9 at Carl Sandburg at 7:30 p.m. Next home game is with Black Hawk on February 16 at 7:30 p.m.

Women's Basketball: Black Hawk East - W 63-62

The Skyhawks improve to 16-6 and 5-2 in the Arrowhead Conference after defeating Black Hawk East 63-62!

Danijela Svircic led the Skyhawks with 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals. Shamika Williams added 17 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists while Phyllis Woodard had 8 assists. Way to go!

Next game is at Carl Sandburg February 9 at 5:30 p.m. and next home game is February 16 when the Skyhawks will take on Black Hawk!. Come see the exciting action!

The Skyhawks suffer a tough loss to Malcolm X 44-39.

Shamika Williams was leading scorer with 13 points, Lydia Box added 9 points and Danijela Svircic chipped in 8 points.

The Skyhawks will take on Black Hawk East at home on Tuesday, February 7 at 5:30 p.m.

Shamika Williams had a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Lydia Box added 10 points.

Matt Ross was the leading scorer with 21 points, pulling down 11 rebounds and 4 blocks.
