It just seems to be a part of life doesn't it? Be it for money, convenience, or just necessity. I always hope for one thing, that it will be the last time. I think that this time will last considerably longer than the others.

So, it appears I'm on the holiday rant again. The heart shaped box just closed and now we'll move onto the next money grab. Valentines Day is when we express our feelings for one another, and to do this we buy them gifts. Is anyone else noticing a trend?
"It's a holiday tomorrow."
"Really? I guess that I'll have to go to the bank and get money out"
From now on we should just have a monthly "Give out Money Day." It would make more sense than naming them after religious people or events. I'm not saying that all of the holidays are bad, just the ones that have mascots associated with them. Maybe we need to put them all together in a new group? Like the "Holiday Hero League." It can be the new Marvel comic book. Santa, Cupid, the Easter Bunny, and a Leprechaun fighting crime and taking peoples money all over the world. Stan Lee would jump on that in a second, he's just that crazy. Ok, let's try this another way. Santa, Cupid and the Easter Bunny walk into a bar. Cupid goes up to the Bartender, "Do you have any grapes?" Ok, so it's kind of an inside joke but I really couldn't come up with anything else.

So, have any of you been keeping up with the war? I'm not talking about George W's ego trip, I'm referring to the the HD format war. For about 2 years two different options for High Definition movies, HD-DVD and Blu-Ray, have been battling it out to talk over for DVD for your movies and storage media. Well, after an interesting contest, HD-DVD has fallen. Toshiba, the company behind HD-DVD, announced that it would stop supporting the format. It certainly sucks to be those that dished out cash for the players and movies on HD-DVD, for now they have some expensive coasters and a very pretty paper weight.

I have been living at my new place for a few weeks now, and as much as I hate moving things are going quite well. We pay a fraction of what we were paying, which was one of the main reasons I moved. The other was that my woman was going with or without me. Should have told her that I would flip her for it, but then she would threaten to take my mac or something.

How many of you of you read Web Comics? I think I have at least 10 that I try to keep track of. One of which is Looking For Group. It has it's basis in a reality similar to World of Warcraft, yet it follows its own path of hilarity. I am not going to go into the details of the story, I'll leave that for those that may interested to discover. I will say though I do not spend my money on things unless I enjoy them to a large degree. I have many LFG items, some which are limited edition.

I'm out of things to say for the moment, join me next time when I rant, rave or just mumble about whatever is going around in my head.

Ah . . . the Two Month Holiday

Well, the holiday's are essentially over, and I honestly couldn't be happier. It should be obvious to anyone by now that I made glasses to look through at the world, and Christmas is no exception.

First of all, why the hell do stores start putting out Christmas stuff before Halloween is even over. Am I the only one bothered by this? I am really starting to believe that society is finally lost its mind. That or it was shot point blank to the temple, either would start to explain things. Of course to go along with that madness, the music soon follows suit. Ignoring the fact that I would be perfectly fine not hearing another X-mas song for the rest of my days (although some of the parodies are quite amusing), it should be illegal for them to be put on the radio until at least December. Preferably, a week before. That would be plenty of time to get with the Spirit of things. Think about it, what other Holiday in our history takes up 2 months or more of our time to prepare for? I honestly don't know. This of leads into the true meaning of Christmas . . .

Spend Money!!

It's crazy the amount of money I have layed down for everyone, and I went the smart route (or Lazy depending on who you ask) and bought Gift Cards for almost everyone. Christmas time on my wallet is like a vampire finding a baby on their doorstep. So, what does one do? Not many options for this. I can continue to spend large amounts of cash during this time of year, or boycott the entire thing. Seemed like an easy answer to me at first. That was until I mentioned my plans to my other half. To fully explain this I have to mention one fact, I have done something (been big and small) for my Lady on every Christmas so far. I turns out that I had no idea how much joy she has gotten from that when I came to my decision. At that point I had to do the only thing that I could to keep her happy. Compromise. Not sure how that is going to work yet, but I will make it happen for her sake.

Next on my list of holiday criticisms, Santa. to be fair I will have to include the Easter Bunny into this rant. There may be more but I can not think of any others at this time. Having a symbol for things like a holiday is fine (even though X-mas has like 30), but why do people go out of there way to make their children believe that these fictional characters actually exist? It seems to me that it's nothing more than another foolish way to scare the kids to be "nice". Is it so hard to just tell the child the truth. "If your not good this year, than we're not going to get you anything for Christmas". Of course word it to your liking but I see no reason to lie to them. I am not saying that having an imagination is bad, just give it to them straight so they know at an early age the difference between Fantasy and Reality. I like the Idea, don't knock it till you've tryed it.

Now that I got that out, feel free to post that I am a Scrooge on the coments. Just remember that if It's true I am either the McDuck Scrooge, or Patrick Stuart's depiction. Maybe I should start a poll . . .

Alive and Proving my Point

Does anyone else find it interesting that we take so many things for granted. Technology has taken control of our lives, but that is fine by me. My life thrives off of my computer and the Internet. Be it for e-mail, web serving, or playing a whole different persona in an online game. That is how live is for myself, and many other people in the world. Progress, ain't it grand.

You should all be aware of my love with Apple and their products, well I recently added 2 more into the mix. In September, I went out and got a brand new 24" Imac. I'm in love with its slim design and just plain beauty, and it may soon replace my TV as well if I can find the adapter to do it. Oh, and the new, slimmer keyboard is amazing. The keys are similar to the ones on the Macbooks, but are spread out more like a regular keyboard. Apple has incorporated the usually multimedia functions, along with it's normal brightness and volume control. It also does something that all keyboards should do. If you only tap the Caps Lock key, it will not turn it on. You have to actually press it for it to work. This is also the case for the Eject key. Sometimes it is the simple things that affect you the most.

Since I am the topic of the Imac, I should talk about my switch from stripes to spots. When I bought the Imac it came with the current version of Os X, 10.4 Tiger. About a month and a half later, Apple released 10.5 Leopard onto the world. It essentially looks the same as before, with a some little differences. The menu bar is now somewhat transparent, but the real visual chance is with the Dock. It is now by default resting upon a reflective shelf which has a small glow as small glow for an app that is open. There have been quite a few people who do not like these specific changes and have gone back to what they were used to in 10.4. However, I personally like these new additions. The best and about these updates seem to be the new features and applications. Time machine, which was probably the most anticipated, it is a rate to the backup application with a beautiful graphical interface. It has a unique ability to "go back in time", then you can go ahead and specify which file or files that you wish to restore. It probably seems quite arbitrary until you see it. spaces, which is not something that is a new, allows you to switch between multiple desktops. Any of these desktops can be configured to hold specific applications and you can switch between these desktops with a simple keystroke. this is something that is actually very useful to your everyday computing. I could talk about 10.5 all day, but I think you should experience it for yourself.

OK, the fun stuff. I had been awaiting this one since January, along with thousands of other people. The Iphone is an amazing device (which is not even supposed to work in Canada) that incorporates a cellphone and a music player. I know, I know, there is nothing new about that, except for the fact that Apple made it as user friendly as the Ipod. This was also their first device their new multitouch technology. This new interface concept allows the user to touch the screen instead of trying to work the keys like on a normal cell phone. I can touch the screen to do things like dial numbers, play and skip through music, and switch applications. This is similar to what certain smart phones are able to do right now, but there is so much more than just that. If you wish to scroll through your contacts on the Iphone, you slide your finger across the screen. You can pinch with 2 fingers to zoom in on pictures or web pages. Oh yeah, it surfs the web. It does everything that I want it to do and more, and it does it better than any other phone/mp3 player I have had.

Am I biased? Maybe, but these opinions are not in my head because I love Apple products. Till 2006, i really didn't use anything but windows. By the end of Feb, 2006, I will never buy another windows machine. Is apple perfect? No, I actually had a not so fun software issue on my Imac that stopped me from playing WoW. It was fixed about 2 weeks ago. So everything is back to normal for me. My old Imac, it seems, is being taken over by the GF. Which is great.

Anyways, that's the down low on my latest toys. Hope you enjoyed it. Catch you all in a month or so. May have another post by then. It's a simple statement, nothing in between the lines. I think about a lot of things when I walk, stuff that doesn't come into my head. There are so many things going on in the world to think about. TV, movies, the war in Iraq, fashion, gossip. Most of the time I think the same things, but on occasion I tend to simplify things. You can basically classify things into two categories; Good and Evil, Light and Dark, Sigfried and Roy. Ah? never mind that last one.

I usually qualify things as either Life or Death. These are the only two things that are for certain in this world. Some of you may wish to add some specifics to that list, but one way or another it would fall under one of the two. To me it seems like other people think about Life and death differently than I do. A lot of people look at life in the sense that it is how we depict ourselves from one minute to the next. Such as how we treat people, what interests we happen to how, and the things that we do during a day. I cannot disprove that concept. I look at it in probably it's most basic way. Life is Energy. Everything is full of energy, if only the smallest bit. I don't think I need to explain that, mainly cause I do not have that kind of time.

I find though that people tend to be ignorant about the way life is in the world. I'm not talking about realizing that some people are not as fortunate as us, or even more well off for that matter. I am talking about what we would call Nature. The flow of the world if you will, everything working in harmony. Of course a lot of people believe that we are destroying the world. Even if that is true, and we completely obliterate the planet, the Earth will renew itself over a few hundred years. If we're actually any kind of threat than the most we could be equal to is the flu. The earth will be sick for a while, take a little nap and wake up refreshed.

When it comes to death, I have interesting way of thinking. First of all, I do not wish death upon anyone, but I do understand that it is necessary. Populations can get out of control for many creatures is this world, and we tend to take care of it to some degree when it does. Who is going care of the Human race when our population gets out of control? When someone tells me that someone died, I comment on the fact that it sucks. If it was someone that they were close to, I'll help them through it. Hell, I have felt the pain that goes with it too. I do however feel very sorry when the death is someone young. It's never a good thing when some dies when they have barley lived. That's they way of things thought, death is a must. Think about it, people are starting to over populate the world. What do you think Nature is going to do about it? Sit around, no. It's fighting back. Notice how Disease and virus' are coming out from everywhere? Not really a coincidence to me. Makes you think a lilttle more about things doesn't it. Here's the thing. If we continue they way we are going our race will be very close to destroyed in a few hundred years. Nature will be still kickin, may have to have a big nap though.

That's it for today / this week / ? / whatever. Live free and Die happy.

P. S.

It's my lady's BD today, and I shall not be singing.

Et emu zerah, Yasumi po sa

Even the Sheep are Against Me

So, to blame my lack posting entirely on work would certainly bring in some hate. However, they did actually make me do some work. I barley get an opportunity to do anything but work. It's an odd thing, a thing I haven't had to experience for some time now. It's only me that could suffer, but as long as the money keeps a coming I shall not complain. Much.

The question of the day, is the world so boring that I can not find something to write about; or am I so oblivious to the entertaining an/or interesting stuff that happens on this planet that I can not find said topics? Answer? I don't think I need to answer this. It's not this is a pop quiz or anything. These are not polls, mainly because I don't want your opinion. Well, not yet any way. These posts are here to make you thing about things that you may have not thought about before. Maybe you didn't even want to think about it, you now wish great bodily harm upon me. That's ok, cause most of you don't know where I live. Those that do, I know where you live too. While you are reading this I am most likely in your closet. By the way, what's up with this Britney Spears outfit? On second though, keep that to yourself.

It's Sunday, the day when my sleep and I argue over who is more important. It's any man's game, even though I have no idea if I should try and give sleep a gender. Would that be considered discrimination? Or maybe sexist? Wow, round one to sleep. I would mention the illegal blow that occurred, but the Ref doesn't like to be told that he is wrong. Does that mean that I am like that too? Hmm. Nah

tournament. So that in turn gives me at most 2 1/2 hours sleep. Today however, I couldn't sleep. I have been awake for 18-20 hours, I would be more exact if I was more awake. The interesting thing today is I didn't get my The reason behind the weekly bout in slumber land has 2 points. First, I work till 8:30am. It's a good shift with mostly good people. Second, I volunteer my Judging abilities to a local TCGcaffeine. One of the players brings me tea every week. Yet it seems that on the days where I do not get to nap before hand, he has had some reason to not have brought it for me. Karma? Bad Luck? I think he's spying on me some how. He's thoughts are "No sleep, no tea." Tear.

Once I am done here I have to decide if I will try and stay awake most of the night or get back on schedule and get a little sleep when I get home. The only modifier to this decsion is that if I sleep when I get home, I have a lady that I call my own to sleep next to me. Sappy as that may have been, I don't care. She deserves every bit of praise I can give her. Now if she could just get me Apple products for next to nothing, then I may have to do something more which would sound creative and possibly appropriate.

I'll end on a simple point. I want an Iphone. Someone send me an Iphone! Is this too much to ask? It is? Well, there goes my day.

Is anyone keeping track of what round we're on? I can't seem to keep track . . .

An Apple a Day and a Cliche

It's been a little while, but I did give you fair warnings when it comes to writing on a consistent basis. So, there will be no complaining today from you. I have nothing specific in mind for today, therefor I shall ramble.

I am a big fan Apple and their products, especially the Ipod and their Mac line. I have had an Ipod of some sort for some time now and I will more than happily argue it's superiority over other media players. It has always had a sleek design, and an amazing interface, and I believe holds the media player market by the balls. The first one I had was the 4Th generation Ipod
which had 20G. It was amazing how easy it was to use and I was extremely happy to have my entire music library on my person. That same year, my joy turned into despair as my Ipod
met the pavement and then turned to embrace a car's tires. It didn't survive and I was heart broken. Within a couple of days, I gave in and got another, this time the mini. Packing the same features only smaller in both size and capacity, I was once again musically satisfied.
Apple being Apple, released the Ipod Nano in the fall of that same year. My thoughts were simple. "It comes in black, has the same capacity, and is smaller? Must buy yesterday." I did this of course and sold the mini. I am still porting around the nano, it being a great mp3 player and that Apple hasn't really improved the line well enough for me to pick up a new one. That is unless you include it's newest beaut, the Iphone. We'll come back to this one in a bit. I'm trying keep the ideas linear.

I continued my path towards Apple products a few months after my Nano purchase when on Feb 14th, 2006 I bought a 17 inch Imac. (Yes it was Valentine's day and some of you may be wondering where was the love. Well the love was pointed at my wonderful GF whose credit made my purchase possible. Imac plus a great woman equals glee.) I have been looking at the macs for some time considering my love of the ipod but noticed that on certain fronts I would be limited. The main issue was gaming. I didn't play a lot of games but I did require a stable system to play World of Warcraft on. My adventures through Azeroth must continue as it was passing a large portion of my time. The G5 versions at the time didn't seem to preform that well so I let that thought wonder. Apple switched it up a bit in Jan of 2006 when it unveiled an Imac with an Intel inside, pardon the pun. Upon WoW becoming playable to this newer platform I made the choice, and soon bought me my Imac. (I was told that I was the first to own an Intel Imac in NL, little trivia for you). Within about a week, my transition from windows and my old PC were complete. I was more than pleased with my new toy, and a decsion was made. I shall never buy a Windows based Computer again. Microsoft be damned I say.

Back to present day. My Imac is still running smooth and my Nano is currently supplying me with musical goodness.

To the future now. Apple threw an un chewable bone at the end of June, called the Iphone. OMFG. I don't think there are acronyms that can express how much I want this product. However, the Iphone came into the public locked down to AT&T. This requires me to wait (at least for the moment) for Apple to spread the love around to the rest of the world. I won't talk too much about it mainly because I think I could go on and on. In time I tell my self, all in good time. Now a couple of weeks ago, Apple gave me more reasons to drool. I thinner, cheaper, and prettier Imac. Now available isn't the issue here because I could order one right now. I have two reason to wait. First, I just don't have the cash hanging around for it at the moment. Since I have also told myself that when I do upgrade that I will go from the 17 inch model I have to a 24 inch version, the previous point is all that more a factor. Second, Leopard. This is what the new version of the Mac's OS X will be called. It's slated as being released in Oct. So I wait till that point so I don't have to buy the new OS later. Must win lottery. Must play lottery to win lottery.

Would I recommend Apple products? Of course. I think I will leave the comments section. No I am not subtly trying to get people to post comments. What do you take me for?

Falling to Wake Up

So, it seems that no one likes the comments feature on the blog here. Lucky, I have promoting myself on Facebook. I thank you friends, for your thoughtful words. I have the two of you to thank for my continued ambitions. I will dis-continue the BS and come back to reality for a bit. I think that a lot of the people that know me are aware that I am simply bored and decided this was a good way to pass the time. Speaking of reality . . .

How many of you remember your dreams? Not too many I would guess. I tend to have some flashes of the dream after waking, they don't last long either. My GF does remember a lot of her dreams, and there are some crazy things bouncing around in the pretty head of hers. The question is what is it that allows some people to remember their dreams and others not to. I would guess that it could be anything from being male or female, to how you were raised, or just plain genetics. Also, waking dreams, where you realize that you are dreaming and abuse it for your own amusement. I have yet to experience this first hand, at least as far as I know :( There are some other of thoughts about dreaming that I would like to comment on.

"Or is life a dream by some other being?"

That is actually something that I wrote some time ago, but it certainly brings up a interesting prospective on things. What if we are not real at all, but the unconscious thoughts of someone else. Well, maybe something else would be better suited there. This isn't a discussion that I have taken up with anyone to my knowledge, but these are the kinds of discussions that a friend and I would get a heated argument over. You Know Who You Are!! The thought itself, I believe, started from and episode of Star Trek TNG, I think you know the one I'm talking about.

"Create an adversary capable of defeating Data"

Remember that? That episode was shown in 88. Almost 20 years ago. In that episode, the statement caused the Enterprise computer to give Moriarty (a hologram) sentient thought. Of course it wasn't until he came back years later that when he manged to take over the ship did the previous idea come to me. They stopped Moriarty by putting his program into a self contained computer module to keep him happy with an endless supply of adventures. At the end of that episode they were discussing the idea of them all being on a holodeck and their entire lives were nothing more than a computer program. Twisty little minds we have.

Deja vu comes to my mind sometimes when I think of dreaming. To me it isn't like the same black cat walked by the doorway thing. Anytime I experience Deja Vu, it seems like I had dreamed it earlier in my life. Am I alone in this? Come to think of it, I have been going around this whole thing the wrong way. If I do have premonitions in my dreams, than I have to stop worrying if I am the only one that it happens to. What I have to do is calibrate it so I can use for financial gain. Wait, I think i may have experienced this before.

Maybe next time I'll bring up a theory that someone from my high school had. It was about how we view colors. I wonder is she remembers, I wonder if she ever reads this. I wonder what I will have for supper tonight.

It's Like Reese's Pieces, but not as tasty

It's interesting when you have a blog about your thoughts and you can't think of anything to write about.

On a side note, the initial grammar for the first 2 posts was quite horrendous. Which is why from now on I shall be re-reading everything that I write before I actually post it. Nice idea, wish I thought of it sooner. My GF paid the ultimate price when she tried to read it before the posts got some Grammarfication. She is also the reason that I found out about it to begin with. Hearing "My eyes are bleeding" when she was reading something on the laptop should have been a dead give away, but from a lady who I can quote as saying "I think that we need a Closet for our Door" I have to not jump to conclusions. This also brings up another interesting point. I know for a fact that at least 2 people read the posts before her, which means that there are two possible situations. Either they didn't point it out to me because of the ramifications of my reactions. Or, they somehow managed to completely understand my posts without even noticing the mistakes. Hey, it was amusing at the time.

As I am writing all this I am still trying to determine what topic (if any) to make this post about. I was pondering a Harry Potter "Spoiler" to maybe make some people believe that Harry was actually Ron and Hermione's love child. Let's say it was a time travel spell gone terribly wrong and leave it at that. I also was going to let the world in on a little known fact on why Voldemort is so pissed of. He used to black in his younger years. Just think of Micheal Jackson and the rest of the pieces should fall into place. Not really enough to make a whole post about.

I also considered throwing an faux argument that a friend and I have been having for sometime now. Is Water Wet. My friend has said on countless occasions "of course it is wet, it's water." I came back with my logic and slapped him with "Water can't be wet, if you have water on water, you get Water." We are both assuming that the wet part would be water. I have never said that Water can not be wet, but saying that Water is wet indicates nothing but the water itself. This is more of joke than an argument though, just to get me going at the time. If you know me at all you should be aware that I can be an ass when it comes to stuff like that.

And lastly, a little beef I have with some people on Facebook. Just because you happen to know who I am does not mean that you are someone that I think of as a friend or would wish to keep in contact with. I shall not count the number of friend requests that I have had from people that I do not even know personally. Worse even is when people that I do not even like in the least send me a request. Is anyone else having this problem? I can't wrap my head around it. "Hey, I know him in passing. I am certain that his wishes to know what I happen to be doing and would be interested in sharing in my thoughts and interests." I know the is my first dip into the Social Networking pool, but I seem to be hitting that reject button a little too much.

Wow, a conglomeration of idiosyncrasies. I am shaking with excitement. Well . . . um . . . yeah.

Afraid of What??? Oh . . .

So, back again I see? I didn't scare you off the first time? Well, there may be hope for you yet. Or maybe it should be hope for me yet? Guess it doesn't really matter.

Ok, Thought for today. Phobias. Most people have them, and I understand some of the ones people have. For instance, Acrophobia - the fear of heights. This one makes a lot of sense, although it should be "fear of falling from heights". Claustrophobia is fairly common, a little less understandable than this previous but still has some logic in it. Now when it comes to the ones where someone has a fear of animals I start to scratch my head. I get it if you came face to face with an animal that could kill you if you pissed it off, but to be rattled at the mere mention of the name of the animal. I don't get it myself. Ophidiophobia is the fear of snakes, sure some of them could kill you but most are quite harmless. I have a snake, I have even been bitten once. Totally my fault I would like to add, but Xerxes' timing is the worst. I was trying to feed him him before going to work. You want to know the first thing that entered my head afterwards ( besides the expletives). How am I going to get him off of me without hurting him. Is that odd, I'm not so sure.

Back to the point, most of the animals people have phobias for are little things that couldn't hurt you if they wanted to. Mice, how can someone be afraid of a mouse. Annoying sure, scary? I can't see it. I have this strange feeling someone is wondering how I would feel if like ten thousand mice were trying eat me alive. I figure as long as I had some cheese and a clear path to run in the opposite direction from where I am throwing the cheese, I'll be fine. Now, I understand that most phobias developed through an instance in someones life and that kind of makes the animal thing plausible, but I haven't finished my rant quite yet.

Here is a short list:

Allodoxaphobia- Fear of opinions

Ambulophobia- Fear of walking

Anthropophobia- Fear of people

Barophobia- Fear of gravity

Chaetophobia- Fear of hair

Chirophobia- Fear of hands

Cibophobia- Fear of food

Dutchphobia- Fear of the Dutch

Gnosiophobia- Fear of knowledge

Ideophobia- Fear of ideas

Melanophobia- Fear of the color black

Mnemophobia- Fear of memories

Nephophobia- Fear of clouds

Numerophobia- Fear of numbers

Odontophobia- Fear of teeth

Orthophobia- Fear of property

Parthenophobia- Fear of virgins

Phobophobia- Fear of phobias

Plutophobia- Fear of wealth

Verbophobia- Fear of words

I am starting to think that some of theses are not real and that someone is filling in the words while waiting for someone else to start being afraid of it. Can anyone really imagine a guy running down the street, "AAHHHHHH, someone help me. The virgins are everywhere!!!" Yip thought so, most guys would be the opposite.

So, I'm going to end this one with a Phobia that doesn't surprise me to any degree. I somewhat expect that if many people start reading this Blog that I'll get flack for it, but I guess since i'm not Allodoxaphobic here goes

Theophobia- Fear of gods or religion

Bubble, bubble, and the turkey who's trouble

This may be the start of something, however my somethings usually don't last that long.

For those that know me; this will me mostly my thoughts, opinions, and whatever decides to ooze out of my brain at the time

For those that do not know me; same as above but expect to be a whole lot more confused because those that know me, I think have come accept the oddity that can be my thoughts from time to time. An example you say, are sure you're ready? Very well, this statement (which I enjoy peoples faces after they hear it) came to me at some point at the end of the last millennium, 2000 I think. Oh and for those that just muttered something around the lines of "Idiot, the year 2000 was in this millennium", your wrong. Look it up.

Anyway, here is my favorite of my oddities

The blue turkey fell backwards over the plastic clouded window

I am going to go out on a limb and say that those who have yet to hear that uttered from my mouth just had a WTF of sorts pop into their heads or out of their mouths just then.

So, as random as that statement may seem , there is a small story to it. I was in college at the time unknowingly wasting my time and money. A friend of mine at the time had somehow forgotten her Yahoo Mail password or had locked herself out, either way. After going through the verify this and that Yahoo issued her a new password "plasticwindow". As she rifled through the spam and mail alike, we had discussed the password and the somewhat oddness in itself. How many windows do you know that are made of plastic? Not too many. Shortly after that I muttered the above statement. I honestly have no idea what thoughts got mashed together for that to flow from my brain to my mouth. Yet it did, and we were both amused at the random statement. Sometime after that as we were leaving the college she uttered the words "I'm a duck, Quack" in the middle of a conversation. Now that I think about it the conversation was interrupted by laughter because of that. I am making that particular moment responsible for why I on occasion say "quack".

On a similar note, most of the little quirks about people some how infused into my personality. That seems some what normal until you think about it. Sure that's the way you develop a personality of your own, from the people you are around or your experiences. I just find it weird that who I am comes down to some kind witches brew of society. I was going to add a related paraphase from Macbeth, but I guess I obsorbed the less creative parts of the world. Come to think about it aboout it, I hang around with a lot of creative people. Maybe they're hogging it all for themselves? I think it's more likely that I am broke, obsorbtion rate must be low. I guess it's time for a tune up. Excuse me while I go poke my self with a fork.
