Of course the bushing got buggered with the screwdriver, yes a decent gunsmithing set, and a little heat. I ordered the Challis bushing extractor tool, and with a cleanup of the bushing to get the tool on, they came out without any problems. Great tool to have around. Bought from Dawson Precision, no affiliation, and had it four days later. Great...<br />

I found a set of laminate Altamont grips on Gunbroker from the Altamont outlet (worth checking out) for $10. Then got me some 22 CBs to test for teaching my kids with. <br />

<br />
The back story is that it came back from Vietnam to the U.S. with a G.I. from Madison, ME. around 1970.<br />
<br />
It&#039;s an eight shot repeater, called a Handgonne, or hand cannon.  It&#039;s ignition source was a slow-match or similar fuse.<br />
<br />
The wooden rod, of course, is missing.<br />

I try very hard to like soccer, but I just can&#039;t get there. The biggest problem for me is the time keeping. <br />

Who cares if the game has been going on for 5 minutes, 5 hours, or 5 days? I want to know <b>how much time is left </b>before a winner is decided.<br />

I do reload all my ammo and though I do not own either caliber yet, my research says that 300AAC has more subsonic options but I really want a Stainless Mini 30, so I&#039;m torn.<br />

I do know that folks run the thirty subsonic supressed but I can&#039;t find much on hand loading it.<br />

A Ruger 77 tang safety in 30-06 caliber will fit into the stock EXCEPT at the recoil area.<br />
The ruger 77 two piece floorplate fits good also.<br />

Both required floating and bedding the forend to shoot consistent all the time. They wouldn&#039;t hold solid zero (it would change 1 to 1.5 inches as times) across temp/humidity changes with forend pressure on barrel. Borchardt rifle co. offers a drop in 8 shot cylinder for the single six, I was skeptical but thought I&#039;d give it a try since it&#039;s 100% guarenteed. It arrived today and it dropped right in my ruger, it actually fits better than the factory cylinder. It times and locks up perfect, I couldn&#039;t be happier with my new 8 shooter.<br />

Put those away and finished cleaning my dryer vent.  Cleaned the squirrels and got out my chillie to thaw, and put ziplock baggie of squirrel meat in its place.<br />

I&#039;ve only previously loaded light pressure 357mag with very soft lead bullets. Until yesterday. I had some new Starline cases, and read others saying they only use full length magnum cartridges in their magnum revolvers. Plus I have a little magnum gun that&#039;s more pleasant with softer ammo. So I put some Oregon Trail 158gr LSWC bullets on top of 4.5grs of 700X powder, with a heavy...<br />
