Trying to get somewhere in the, music biz, industry, whatever you want to call it, has always been tough. Seems to always be more about, how many people you can bring, to get the good gigs, rather than about talent.

So I can never thank this man enough, for all Russ Kellet has done for Melbourne muso’s over the years. You can feel the love, when he just walks up to everybody, with a ‘great big’ kind heart.

Time just fly’s, Russ pointed out yesterday, that he played a track of mine on his radio show, way back, 13 years ago?? Has it really been that long…Wow. Russ has given us all, a fair go, at open mic nights, many many times.

Seriousley, what chance, would an indie muso have, to get our music videos onto TV, without the aid of record lables etc.. pretty much zero. So I am/we are, extremely ‘greatful’ (and I think I can speak on behalf of all the other DIY musos, as I’m sure they feel the same) for the airtime and exposure this has given us, which could not have happened without Russ. Printing the Album Very Soon

Just finished getting all the levels right for each song. Not much left now, create a few files. Did a fair bit of adding a few spontanious ideas to some tracks today. Pretty happy now.

Mastering New Album

Getting Rock Dog Revolution mastered this week. 9 or so months of constant hard work, of playing instruments, singing, recording and editing and mixing are finally coming to an end. Have no official release date as yet. Keep checking back for updates.

By the way, if anyone out there needs album cover artwork done, then check out Mary’s great work.

Drum EQ

Yes that’s right, currently doing all the drum EQing for each song. Makes lots of difference, creates heaps of space for the rest of the instruments.
