Yo guys! Today we got something special for you! Here’s the report about Rave ENCLAVE (organised by Illegal Project & Konflikt) that took place near Rostov-on-Don on 12-13 of June, 2009. And a recording of Vadz playing his set - everything from techno and electro to dubstep and even hardcore! Enjoy, and feel illegal rave atmosphere and essential freedom of underground! Oh yes, this party was truly proper!

"Cold Fire" is a collection of tracks with a definite melancholic feel. It might even throw you into the warm hands of sorrow, or make you think about something fundamental, like birth of the Sun, nothingless or the futility of a mankind.. It's not a destructive fire, burns everything to ashes, just fire that warms souls of approaching apocalyptic romantics from within. Gems only, grown with insight and made for listening in imperfect world.

1) Neonicle is a new name on RT, and his debut tunes you to the dark frequencies of the whole compilation. This artist from St. Peterburg drops electro in best traditions of the well known Dutch scene - emotional, mysterious and grim but full of inner energy. Have you ever seen ghosts? Hey! what was that?!

2) Tantcui Tantcui (which means "dance dance" in Russian) is a side project of a well known 8-bit artist 777minus111 from Moscow. A minimal deviation, as he says. "Where have you been? - Nowhere. What have you been doing? - Nothing". Wicked short track, with a strange melody in it. Should be served as a set opener on a heavy drugged minimal party. Hey, was that a sound of a knife? Did you hear that?!

3) Rabitza takes us into yet another subliminal journey. This piece of art was recorded during one of their live performances and carefully mastered so you can taste the beauty of the moment. A mixture of something between electro and trance with warm melodies and acid mind programming makes you float on the wings of sound. Don't meditate too much, make sure you return soon!

4) Next is an elegant track from Mass Fatality, a project from a grandfather of russian techno scene - DJ Slon from St. Petersburg. Pulsating 808 beats fused with a simple but touching melody keeps you in the mood all the way through. It feels like you're put in a small cozy space filled with a mixture of different images and feelings. Love, anger, tenderness... choose one!

5) Acid Mikhalych, a desperate hardware freak from Moscow gives his debut appearance on the scene. Having a wide collection of retro synths and beatboxes (The legendary Roland 303, 606, 707, 909, etc) and being strongly addicted to acid, he records tracks on the fly and performs live too. "Load in progress" is a dark and scary track that programmes your mind for a trip through your subconscious fears. Get ready for the dark adventure! The wind of doom blows in your direction!!!

6) Vadz was on his way to work on a snowy and queerly silent morning on the outskirts of Taganrog, and suddenly, something began to play inside his mind. That's how this track was born. You can hear the flakes of snow scattering from above, you can smell the freshness and see the silent beauty of winter. Everything fades away, leaving just fancy mosaic images which remain to the very end.

Next Russian Techno podcast episode consists of 2 parts, and it’s 2 hours of good experimental techno, compiled and mixed by Digital Punks creative duo from Taganrog. 2 DJs - Roger and Z-Chel geathered under this flag in 2008 to make proper, underground parties with radical dance sound. They both represent new wave of DJing, and combine new technologies with good old vinyl magic. Music taste is everything, and the attitude is the only thing that matters. So, here’s some techno with balls, served by Digital Punks…

Here we go again! Experimental, raw, funky, robotic, hypnotic! St. Peterburg-based duo Postapocalyps Pop rocks your basement and moves your brain! So, what do we have here?

It's 4 tracks plus a remix from Vadz. First track, 'P.A.P. In Arms', tunes you into proper mood and guides your robot through a new boot sequence. Weapons charged! Second track, 'Jamie Ne Gemis Pas' (used to be French, right?), is a straight-forward floor-filler with metallic flavour and nasty percussion. Start moving, it's an order! Third one, 'Moleculae' - dirty, hypnotic journey through your innerself with acidic pulsations. Electrolyte leakage! Nurse, fix the stitches! 'Opdob' is a perfect soundtrack for brain defragmentation sequence. Be careful! Occasional errors may occur, data loss possible! Last track is a summary of all in a free interpretation by Vadz. Add some spice and a new recipe for your cyber-fiance is ready! Overall - 5 of 5 for every and one wonky/funky/brighton/experimetal-influenced fan. RTPOD4: DJ Alex Force - Scratching Techno Mix

It’s been a while since our last episode, but finally it’s here! Ladies and gentlemen, you’re welcome - DJ Alex Force from Moscow, “An Enegretic Miracle” as people characterise him.

Alex Force is one of the first Moscow DJs that started combining scratching techniques with techno, interesting turntable manipulations with 3-deck-mixing, all this at the same. He’s the key player on Russian techno scene, with residency at almost all big festivals and raves in Russia and Ukraine. Just to name a few: Technosphere, Technopolis, Hardtechno.Ru, Hardline 77, Orbit, and many others.

His new project ‘Scratching Techno’ is an exciting show - a mixture of perfect music and a storming scratch action, uplifted turntables and records spinning backwards at extra speed. All this naturally charms the dance floor and never stops people from dancing! Enjoy his mix recorded specially for Russian-Techno podcast!!

RTPOD3: DJ Geralda - Femme Fatale Mix

Our third episode is a ‘harder’ techno set by a wonderful girl from industrial city Perm (which stands by Ural Mountains) - DJ Geralda.

There’s a saying in Russian about woman - she can stop a horse on a run, and enter the house on fire. And this expression shows Russian women’s character quite well, both in creative and regular life. A young girl, who was performing under a name of DJ Geralda, became seriously involved into club life in 2001. DJ Geralda performed in all popular clubs of his native town, Perm, as well as in major clubs of Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other cities in Russia and the ‘near-abroad’ countries (Ukraine, Estonia, etc.). She took part in music festival ‘Kazantip’ in 2005-2006, and also was a headliner of numerous open-air and rave parties around Russia. A bright image and absolute DJing skills helped Geralda to charm clubbers and take a leap on the Russian scene. She is the one who has a pictorial musical style and feminine technique of performance. She says: ‘The best compliment I can receive is when people come up to me and say that I was so good at the party that they want to keep working with me’.
