Jiddu Krishnamurti, in his book "This Light in Oneself" discusses the idea of "psychological time", which is the myth that changes that take place in our heads need to take certain amounts of time just like changes that take place outside of our heads. Esther and I take time in this podcast to discuss why this illusion is especially powerful, how recognizing it as an illusion is even more powerful and how the Christian doctrine of original sin makes psychological change difficult or impossible.

This is our first podcast. It is about the suggestion on the part of Don Cupitt that the only way for Christianity to maintain it's relevance in the world is by ditching the supernatural and going completely secular.
