Some friends asked me to shoot their wedding this past summer. I agreed, but was nervous since I hadn’t done anything like that before. Overall I think it went well.

A view of San Pasqual Valley from Bandy Canyon Road in North San Diego County. A storm had come through the area during Memorial Day weekend and provided us with much more interesting skies than usual.

This is a more natural toned version of the last photo I posted. It was taken shortly after sunset on an overcast day. I like how the long exposure gives the wave a watercolor-like look.

This photo was taken in La Jolla, California shortly after sunset. I had fun experimenting with long exposures and came away with a few nice shots.

San Diego is blooming. Wildflowers are popping up all over San Diego County especially in areas affected by the fires last fall. Last weekend we visited my parents in Ramona and came across hillsides covered with beautiful flowers near their home. I was thankful to have my camera with me.
