Guess what? Guess who I found floating along the information superhighway? Mad Sam! That's right! He's back, and thilly as ever.
We talk bout what we been doing, what he's been doing, and some other funny stuff. Excuse the poor audio in some of the segments. We will get it figured out once again.
I also talk a bit bout what I've been doing, and some other cute stuff, then I talk about the Zorai race. To be honest I want the race segments to be longer, but there is so much to talk about with each one it's hard to get it all in. I recorded several segments, and lost one of the segments where I used some player contributed stories about the Zorai. Special thanks to Mugendo, for his brilliant post. I'll get you in next time, man, you rule.

Everyone else is off in other lands right now conquering the Monsters of Study, Moving, and Work. Next time should be back to the same ole' bunch of goofness.
I talk bout the new gambling wheels, some about the cool event of Merging and a lil bout my character.

...so I filmed a BUNCH. Thing was, I wanted the screen to be big enough so that people could read what was on my screen, so they could see the whole speech and all that.
I record at half size though, although since I use the highest rez it's too small. Or something like that... in other words you cant read the chat.
So, I decided to go the smaller/basic approach. I typed up some key parts from the speech and some nice shots of everyone sitting around having fun. And of course, the fireworks. They were magical.

I have been working on a lil movie using only the Ryzom Ring for a week or so, off and on.
It came out pretty good, minus all the editing and camera errors. Oh well, they'll get better, if I make more.
The Ring is awesome for movies. If you had a few players to act as actors, you could do almost anything.

We're back after a week off, and what a week it has been!
First off, me and the wife have been moving into a new home slowly so we have been way too busy to play or record for any significant amount of time. I did finally find an hour to record with Sam though, but when I caught him it was about 1 AM Germany time!
In this 'cast I give a basic rundown of the "Stranger" event that happened on the Arispotle server recently, I also get an interview with everyone's favorite PvP'er (and lord of Atys and all sorts of other titles) SunCe! He's frank, and forgets to watch his cursewords, so cover your ears or ask your kids to leave the room.

OMG! Long podcasts are SO in vogue right now! PLEASE forgive us for jabbering SO much this week that we filled up almost..(gulp) 2 HOURS! But it'll make you laugh, fer crissakes. Next week we are going on a diet and will get it back down to an hour. Ish. Promise.
So Sam is back this week, which rules. I missed my German friend. We talk about my gripefest and all sorts of stuff.
Me and the wife have some fun chatting about what we did this week in game, and we try to keep it together, without laughing and breaking out into songs about our cats.

"A Day in the Life"
So I cover quite a few things on this LONG podcast ( an hour and a HALF), including information about the music I play, a call from Mayadanava (his ideas are great as always) and with Jenna's segment on names in Roleplay. Once again, she is much more professional than I ever could be! :)
I was going to do the show without Sam, (he had technical issues) but today he popped up and said he could do it. I was a little unprepared, so I got a drink and logged and and we had fun. For quite a while..I edited a LOT of it out! haha!
It shows how we play though, and how we talk about things. I would like to eventually have a many guest play session, to just hang out and talk about Ryzom. One of my many many ideas for the future.

Audio issues, bleh. I've had a big chunk of 'em lately.
First, I have new equipment (new sound card, better PC) that I am going to start using, which will help get rid of clicks and skips due to my older sound card being weak. Yay! Time to spend a lot more money!
This week we have the fastest forum run -thru than ever. Also, I talk a bit about the Ryzom Ring, the greatest thing ever, despite what people are saying or have said about issues with hosting or XP. Next time you're in game, load the editor and start playing with it, trust me you'll get hooked. Then I play a new segment from Jenna about Roleplay. She will be covering it for her segment every week. Thanks so much to her! She does her research and has a nice voice. I wonder when we'll start getting emails.
Then me and Sam jump into a silly, poorly recorded fun conversation. To be honest, when me and Sam record, my lil voice recorder for Skype records onto two seperate tracks, so that I can adjust me and Sam's voice accordingly, which I often have to do. This time I forget to set the lil button to "record two seperate tracks", so you have us both on one track, and I'm very quiet. I did some mixing on it, and even got in by hand and upped some segments of myself. Oh well, it's still really funny.
I have cut our conversation to about 20 minutes, and I'll be editing the rest and placing it on a show on Ryzom Radio called "Uncensored Ryzom". Basically, it'll be a show where we can talk freely 'bout Ryzom, cursewords and all.

Hey hey Atys! It's time for a short, but sweet podcast! I'm missing Sam this week but I decided to throw back a few and go for it. Work has been sucking all my time (including valuable play time) so I put this one out a little late again.
Originally I was going to talk about resistances (thanks to Owagwyn for the idea) but I have not had time to collect everything I wanted to make a great subject. I am planning on doing it really soon, though.
So I ran through some manuals and found some things that I have either had explained to me and forgotten or that I never knew of. I am calling this podcast the "Tidbit Show", named for the list of juicy tidbits of info I have found. Noobs might really be interested in this, and if you are NOT new, then sit back and laugh at me and go "gawl, what a NOOB."
Also, a word about my new experiment: Ryzom Radio! While it has already been done by Sam and some of his friends, this is my attempt at making basically a "podcast channel", with music and information always streaming.
I will have "Sets" of music, each themed for one of the four major schools: Magic (kinda ethereal music), fighting (metal, of course), digging (soft music that you can sit back and dig with), and crafting (upbeat music).

...it's here Atys! This week we address PvP: you either love it, hate it, or are bad at it. BE WARNED: There are a few curse-words in this one, because when me and Sam get all hyped up about PvP we just can't help ourselves!
I am still not able to put in some of the other segments that I would love to, like the "New Player of The Week" or the next "Mob of the Week", because of time constraints. Oh well, soon, very very soon.
And I have changed the release day on the 'cast: it's now Monday. Thanks to my new job kicking my rear and with Sam being alllll the way in Germany, I am going to have to move recording day to Saturday or Sunday, and have it edited for Monday.
