I created what is called a Flip Petal mini album. I got the inspiration from Bona who is livelovescrap on Youtube and she is keeponscrappin here on blogger. She does awesome work. Well she did a mini album using an Accucut die and I fell in love with it. Since I have no Accucut die cutting machine, I decided to re-create it using my Gypsy.

I love having my Gypsy and all of my Cricut machines. Having over 189+ cartridges, I am able to create what I want. I do not want to purchase the Accucut machine, which I had intentions before I sat down and played with my Gypsy to see what I could come up with.

OMG!!... what I had to go through to upload this photo.. I'm in Georgia and the storms have just left us a little bit ago and it left my whole town powerless... I'm at McDonalds using Wi-Fi to get my entry in... The things we do for cricut, I tell ya,lol...

Giveaway on the Cricut Circle Blog.. Last week the design team members shared pictures of their scrapbooking rooms.. This week they want to see where we scrapbook... I chose a photo in front of my "wall" of Cricut cartridges.. I am working on a video of my updated scraping area.. Hopfully that will be soon... I love my Cricut and all 180+ cartridges.. Not exactly sure of how many I have now.. I'm hoping to add more this week since they are on sale at JoAnn's..

..::My Cricut Circle Calling Cards::..

Wow... you guys.. I know it has been a long while since I posted on my blog.. Things just haven't been right.. Thank you to all of my followers that stuck in there and haven't left me... I'm going to do better..

I want to share with you guys my calling cards for the Cricut Circle.. this is my 3rd time swapping them.. I first swapped on the Cricut message board.. then i exchanged a good bit of them at the Dallas Stampede in Texas.. now I'm in another swap on the Cricut message board...

These are my calling cards:

But I have a little bit of a problem.. I'm sure you can tell that some of those cards have different colors, right?.. Well that's because I ran out of some of the cardstock and had to substitute another color that I had in my stash... So I set out to find some card stock at my local JoAnn or Michaels. I figure if I get it locally I could always be able to get some in a pinch if I ever ran out.. Most of the paper I owned was by Stampin' Up! and since I'm not a demonstrator anymore I don't buy a whole bunch any more..

My first stop was Michaels.. I bought some of their Reollections brand cardstock.. Bam!.. I loved the way it cut in the Imagine, as that is where I first started cutting my cards... But went back to Michaels and they do not sell packs of one color.. I thought dang!!.. Now what am I going to do.. If I bought those multi-color packs I'm going to end up with a slew of colors I don't need..

Off to JoAnn.. thought I would check out their Paper Company paper... OMG!!.. That paper ripped all over the place.. when I pulled it out of the pack I should have known because the paper is so thin..

This is how much paper I bought thinking I would be able to use these for my calling cards, but guess it will all go back to JoAnn tomorrow.. receipts ready on top:

I really wish there was a way to try paper out in the cricut before we actually bought it.. It would save so much heartache and time!!..

OMG!!.. I was given a wonderful RAK by an awesome Youtube friend!.. I can't believ she made this for me and that she actually thought about me to make it for me,lol.. I hope that didn't confuse anyone.. I'm just so excited .. and you could tell the excitement in the video.. I refused to redo that part, I was laughing at my ownself.. and I hope you can laugh along with me..

Wouldn't you know it??.. I've been given another award.. This time it's from Scrapsadaisee.. Forgive me for not noticing your blog before, but you have some awesome crafty work from what I've seen so far.. I'm going to have to dig deeper,lol... Part of the acceptance is to offer 5 things about myself.. If anyone knows me.. I'm pretty much a simple girl.. I don't like too much conflict or confrontation... but here are 5 things about me:

1. I absolutely love potatoes... whether it be french fries, baked potatoes or hash browns.. any type of potatoes.. I'm there!!

2. Some of you may already know, but for those that don't .. my favorite color is BROWN!

3. I've only been scrapbooking/crafting since Dec 2007.. when I bought my cricut from Walmart for $119.00.. I was so excited to get that deal as they were going for almost $200 everywhere else.

4. I am a nurse.. but my absolute favorite part of being a nurse is drawing blood.. I will stick you in a heart beat!,lol...

5. Seems like I can not live in one place for more than 2 years at a time.. Lately I have been moving every 2 years.. this past two years, though, I have moved every year.. Getting ready to move again in about 2 months!.. I know.. it's sickening, but if I'm not happy I'll keep doing it until I'm happy.. (Good thing about renting!)..
