Did someone say Thickers?

2013-04-12T18:17:00.000-04:00

Yes.. I may have a sort of issue.. I love Thickers.. All different kind of fonts.. All different kinds of colors.. and many, many different styles.. Some with glitter some in wood grain.. I can never get enough of these sticker letters..

My IKEA Raskog cart...

2013-03-02T23:30:00.002-05:00

I bought a Raskog cart from IKEA in order to organize my Project Life. Having so many supplies, it's hard to decide on what to put in it. Here I've added my most used stamps, alphabets, inks, date stamps, pens, glues, and some stickers and small embellishments. I really want to get another one of these carts because I'm loving how much it can hold and how I'm able to keep my things close to me so I'm not running all over my room looking for things to scrapbook with.. Maybe now I can use more of my stuff instead of having it hidden away in drawers or bins..

I'm addicted...

2013-02-22T08:27:00.000-05:00

I've never been happier to admit that I'm addicted to something... You know addictions are all not too good, but I don't feel bad about this one at all!.. Many know I love scrapbooking, anything Cricut and now Project Life... Yes I'm addicted to Project Life.. It's taking me a while to get some of my pages posted, but I'm working on it.. But for working on Project Life.. some of the supplies are so addicting... Like washi tape.. Who doesn't love washi tape.. I'm constantly looking for rolls of it that I don't have.. It all makes any project have the oomph of something different.. If you haven't tried it.. you should.. you will love it and become addicted yourself!

My Project Life area

2013-01-30T22:55:00.001-05:00

Yes, I'm slacking.. Not a new Project Life post, but I'm working on it.. Hopefully I'll be able to get some pages uploaded this weekend.. Just haven't had time to take pictures of them.. Not good lighting during the week since I'm at work every day until about 6:30pm.. So I thought I'd share a picture of my scrap area where I work on Project Life. This area still looks like this, but a few things have changed.. Like the spinning carousel is now on my desk and the white storage on the corner.. is now busting at the seams,lol.. Yes, I've accumulated a lot more stuff, but in my defense it is only stuff I can use on Project Life.. I've not done too much of anything else as of late..

2013-01-08T13:26:00.000-05:00

.. yes, I know.. I've been away for a long while. It wasn't intentional.. Things have just been crazy around my house and within my world.. But 2013 is here and there are going to be a lot of new changes.. first starting off with Project Life.. I am doing Project Life again for 2013.. I did do Project Life for 2012, but I'm a wee bit behind,lol.. I am going to continue to press on through it and get it done as soon as I can..

Anyway.. Here is a sneak peek of my cover page..

..::My Petal Flip Mini Album::..

2011-06-18T22:23:00.008-04:00

I created what is called a Flip Petal mini album. I got the inspiration from Bona who is livelovescrap on Youtube and she is keeponscrappin here on blogger. She does awesome work. Well she did a mini album using an Accucut die and I fell in love with it. Since I have no Accucut die cutting machine, I decided to re-create it using my Gypsy.

I love having my Gypsy and all of my Cricut machines. Having over 189+ cartridges, I am able to create what I want. I do not want to purchase the Accucut machine, which I had intentions before I sat down and played with my Gypsy to see what I could come up with.

Here are pages 2 and 3:

Here are pages 3 and 4:

I uploaded a Youtube video of the entire album if you are interested:

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed everything!

..::My Cricut Circle Calling Cards::..

2011-04-10T22:49:00.007-04:00

Wow... you guys.. I know it has been a long while since I posted on my blog.. Things just haven't been right.. Thank you to all of my followers that stuck in there and haven't left me... I'm going to do better..

I want to share with you guys my calling cards for the Cricut Circle.. this is my 3rd time swapping them.. I first swapped on the Cricut message board.. then i exchanged a good bit of them at the Dallas Stampede in Texas.. now I'm in another swap on the Cricut message board...

These are my calling cards:

But I have a little bit of a problem.. I'm sure you can tell that some of those cards have different colors, right?.. Well that's because I ran out of some of the cardstock and had to substitute another color that I had in my stash... So I set out to find some card stock at my local JoAnn or Michaels. I figure if I get it locally I could always be able to get some in a pinch if I ever ran out.. Most of the paper I owned was by Stampin' Up! and since I'm not a demonstrator anymore I don't buy a whole bunch any more..

My first stop was Michaels.. I bought some of their Reollections brand cardstock.. Bam!.. I loved the way it cut in the Imagine, as that is where I first started cutting my cards... But went back to Michaels and they do not sell packs of one color.. I thought dang!!.. Now what am I going to do.. If I bought those multi-color packs I'm going to end up with a slew of colors I don't need..

This is what the Recollections paper look like:

I was buying it just for the Olive colored paper...

Off to JoAnn.. thought I would check out their Paper Company paper... OMG!!.. That paper ripped all over the place.. when I pulled it out of the pack I should have known because the paper is so thin..

This is what that paper looks like:

and this is how it ended up after my cricut got a hold of it:

This is how much paper I bought thinking I would be able to use these for my calling cards, but guess it will all go back to JoAnn tomorrow.. receipts ready on top:

I really wish there was a way to try paper out in the cricut before we actually bought it.. It would save so much heartache and time!!..

Thanks for stopping by you guys.. Will post again soon!

..::I've Been Chosen::..

2009-09-07T19:11:00.003-04:00

Wouldn't you know it??.. I've been given another award.. This time it's from Scrapsadaisee.. Forgive me for not noticing your blog before, but you have some awesome crafty work from what I've seen so far.. I'm going to have to dig deeper,lol... Part of the acceptance is to offer 5 things about myself.. If anyone knows me.. I'm pretty much a simple girl.. I don't like too much conflict or confrontation... but here are 5 things about me:

1. I absolutely love potatoes... whether it be french fries, baked potatoes or hash browns.. any type of potatoes.. I'm there!!

2. Some of you may already know, but for those that don't .. my favorite color is BROWN!

3. I've only been scrapbooking/crafting since Dec 2007.. when I bought my cricut from Walmart for $119.00.. I was so excited to get that deal as they were going for almost $200 everywhere else.

4. I am a nurse.. but my absolute favorite part of being a nurse is drawing blood.. I will stick you in a heart beat!,lol...

5. Seems like I can not live in one place for more than 2 years at a time.. Lately I have been moving every 2 years.. this past two years, though, I have moved every year.. Getting ready to move again in about 2 months!.. I know.. it's sickening, but if I'm not happy I'll keep doing it until I'm happy.. (Good thing about renting!)..

Thank you again for this award.. I'm not going to pass it along as I really hate these tag type things, but I am appreciative of my award...

Thanks,

~ŠǿƒŧβŖñ™~
