Remember how it felt when you signed up for your first school outing? Having to go through the whole hassle of bringing that piece of paper back for your mum to sign, her forgetting to sign it, you panicking and throwing a huge fit worried that you'll be left behind by the rest of the class... okay, maybe that part was probably more smooth sailing for the rest of you.

Anyway, this felt like going back to school once again; having to gather at the Nikon office, taking off by bus from one destination to another, a whole lot of walking, taking photos, sweating your pants off while having tons of fun and laughs!

I've always been fond of my own blog, here and at MyFatPocket, but lately, it's all about Tumblr (and of course, my Facebook Page and Twitter; they are sync-ed btw), thanks or maybe no thanks to the iPhone 4S.

Who needs an actual camera when we're already on a 8-megapixel one with our phones? Not forgetting, if not mistaken, a f2.0 lens (correct me if I'm wrong) on that phone camera I speak of?

The Birthday Special: Chapter 2

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I wasn't able to post The Birthday Special as timely as I had hoped. So much has happened in the past month; from partnership problems, friendship issues, financial issues, falling ill... etc. I think the most sudden and the most unfortunate is the hospitalisation (not me but someone close). With all that I had no choice but to actually go back to work and had very little to no time to actually blog.

That said, despite the bad, there were numerous good events as well; I made new friends (Kay Kay, Yutaki, Eric, Milly, and so on...), had help from old friends (Priss, Isabelle, Peggy, Aylwin, etc), and of course, the sponsors continued with me despite all.

I really appreciate all the sponsors (namely Shopbop, Jean Yip, The Everyday Life Store, My Glamour Place, Global Citizen, etc) to support me for their kind patience, tolerance and understanding. It means a lot, truly. Also, I understand the few that weren't as tolerant and I do not blame them. Well, maybe a little upset with those that turned nasty (poor Carolyn had to deal with it). Seriously, it's not like I'd run away with your money, I don't intend to shut down my blog for that couple of bucks.

So yes, thanks you all so much! Lots of hugs and kisses~!

Now, back to the brighter days!
