ایک بہت اچھی تحریر جسے پڑھنے میں صرف دو منٹ لگیں گے۔ دوستو چینی اور جاپانی لوگ اپنے کھانے کے ساتھ ٹھنڈا پانی پینے کی بجائے نیم گرم پانی پیتے ھیں۔ اس وجہ سے وھاں دل کی بیماریاں نہ ھونے کے برابر ھیں۔ شاید اب وقت آ چکا ھے، کہ ھم بھی کھانے کے ساتھ ٹھنڈا پانی پینے کی بجائے نیم گرم پانی پینا شروع کر دیں۔ بلاشبہ کھانے کے ساتھ ٹھنڈا پانی پینا اچھا لگتا ھے، لیکن ٹھنڈا پانی پینے سے کھانے میں موجود چکنائی جم جاتی ھے، جسکی وجہ سے کھانا ھضم کرنے کا عمل سُست ھو جاتا ھے۔ اور جب یہ چکنائی جسم میں موجود ایسڈ کے ساتھ ملن کے بعد intestine کے ساتھ جم جاتی ھے۔ اور پھر آخر کار ھارٹ اٹیک یا سرطان کی صورت اختیار کر لیتی ھے۔ لہذا کھانے کے ساتھ گرم پانی اور سوپ پینا بہتر ھے۔

ھارٹ اٹیک کی عام علامات

General Rules

1. In order to fulfill MS(CS) degree requirements, a student is required to pass all the four core/requisite courses, four specialization courses in his/her selected area of specialization and defend his/her research thesis.

2. A student can enroll in an MS level course only if he/she has taken all pre-requisites for that particular course.

3. In a semester, a student can enroll up to four MS level courses, i.e. 12 MS level credit hours. There is no restriction on the number of pre-requisite courses.

4. A student may attempt to improve a 'C' or 'D' grade in a course at most twice.

5. A student is eligible to enroll in thesis if he/she has completed 21 MS level credit hours course work with minimum CGPA of 2.75.

اس پِنجرے میں انہوں نے ایک سیڑھی اور اسکے اوپر کچھ کیلے بھی رکھے،جب کوئی بندر سیڑھی پر چڑھنا شروع کرتا تو سائنسداں نیچے کھڑے ہو کر اس بندر پر ٹھنڈا پانی برسانا شروع کر دیتے -اس واقعے کے بعد جب بھی کوئی بندر کیلوں کی لالچ میں اوپر جانے کی کوشش کرتا تو نیچے کھڑے ہوئے بندر اسکو سیڑھی پر چڑھنے نہ دیتے کچھ دیر کے بعد کیلوں کے لالچ کے باوجود کوئی بھی بندر سیڑھی پر چڑھنے کی ہمت نہیں کر پا رہا تھا۔

سائنسدانوں نے فیصلہ کیا کہ ان میں سے ایک بندر کو بدل دیا جائے۔ پہلی چیز جو نئے آنے والے بندر نے کی وہ سیڑھی پر چڑھنا تھا لیکن فورا ہی اسے دوسرے بندروں نے مارنا شروع کر دیا - کئی دفعہ پٹنے کے بعد نئے آنے والے بندر نے ہمیشہ کے لئے طے کر لیا کہ وہ سیڑھی پر نہیں چڑھے گا۔ لیکن اسے یہ معلوم نہیں تھا کہ آخر کیوں مارا جاتا ہے۔

سائنسدانوں نے ایک اور بندر تبدیل کیا اور اسکا بھی یہی حشر ہوا -اور مزے کہ بات یہ ہے کہ اس سے پہلے تبدیل ہونے والا بندر بھی اسے مارنے والوں میں شامل تھا - اسکے بعد تیسرے بندر کو تبدیل کیا گیا اور اسکا بھی یہی حشر (پٹائی) ہوا - یہاں تک کہ سارے پرانے بندر نئے بندر سے تبدیل ہو گئے اور سب کے ساتھ یہی سلوک ہوتا رہا -اب پِنجرے میں صرف نئے بندر رہ گئے جس پر کبھی سائنسدانوں نے بارش نہیں برسائی لیکن پھر بھی وہ سیڑھی پر چڑھنے والے بندر کی پٹائی کرتے -اگر یہ ممکن ہوتا کہ بندروں سے پوچھا جائے کہ تم کیوں سیڑھی پر چڑھنے والے بندر کو مارتے ہو یقیناً وہ جواب دینگیں کہ ہمیں نہیں معلوم ؟ ہم نے تو سب کو ایسے ہی کرتے دیکھا ہے

اس بات کو ضرور دوسروں کو سمجھائيے تاکہ وہ بھی اپنے آپ سے سوال کریں کہ ہم اپنی زندگی کیوں ایسے گزار رہے ہیں جیسا کہ وہ گزر رہی ہے ہم وہ کیوں کرنے لگ جاتے ہیں جو دوسروں کو کرتے ہوئے دیکھتے ہیں کیا ہمارے پاس زندگی گزارنے کے لیے کوئی لائحہ عمل موجود نہیں ہے کیا ہمارے پاس ہدایت کا سر چشمہ قرآن مجید موجود نہیں کیا اللہ کے پیارے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہر ہر معاملے میں ہماری رہنمائی نہیں فرمائی۔

تو کیا وجہ ہے کہ ہم لوگ بھیڑ چال کا شکار ہو جاتے ہیں اور کسی عمل کو کرنے کی یہ دلیل دیتے ہیں کہ سب ہی کر رہے ہیں ہم نے کرلیا تو کیا ہوگیا ۔"

اس خاتون سے ہوائی اڈے پر جہاز کے انتظار میں وقت ہی نہیں کٹ پا رہا تھا۔ کچھ سوچ کر دکان سے جا کر وقت گزاری کیلئے ایک کتاب اور کھانے کیلئے بسکٹ کا ڈبہ خریدا۔ واپس انتظار گاہ میں جا کر کتاب پڑھنا شروع کی۔ اس عورت کے ساتھ ہی دوسری کرسی پر ایک اور مسافر بیٹھا کسی کتاب کا مطالعہ کر رہا تھا۔ ان دونوں کے درمیان میں لگی میز پر رکھے بسکٹ کے ڈبے سے جب خاتون نے بسکٹ اٹھانے کیلئے ہاتھ بڑھایا تو اسے یہ دیکھ کر بہت حیرت ہوئی کہ اس ساتھ بیٹھے مسافر نے بھی اس ڈبے سے ایک بسکٹ اٹھا لیا تھا۔ خاتون کا غصے کے مارے برا حال ہو رہا تھا، اس کا بس نہیں چل رہا تھا، ورنہ تو وہ اُس کے منہ پر اس بے ذوقی اور بے ادبی کیلئے تھپڑ تک مارنے کا سوچ رہی تھی۔

اس کی حیرت اس وقت دو چند ہوگئی جب اس نے دیکھا کہ جیسے ہی وہ ڈبے سے ایک بسکٹ اٹھاتی وہ مسافر بھی ایک بسکٹ اٹھا لیتا۔ غصے سے بے حال وہ اپنی جھنجھلاہٹ پر بمشکل قابو رکھ پا رہی تھی۔
جب ڈبے میں آخری بسکٹ آن بچا تو اب اس کے دل میں یہ بات جاننے کی شدید حسرت تھی کہ اب یہ بد تمیز اور بد اخلاق شخص کیا کرے گا، کیا وہ اب بھی اس آخری بسکٹ کی طرف ہاتھ بڑھائے گا یا یہ آخری بسکٹ اس کیلئے رکھ چھوڑے گا؟تاہم اس کی حیرت اپنے عروج پر جا پہنچی جب مسافر نے اس آخریبسکٹ کو دو حصوں میں تقسیم کر کے آدھا خود اٹھا لیا اور آدھا اس کیلئے چھوڑ دیا تھا۔ خاتون کیلئے اس سے بڑھ کراہانت کی گنجائش نہیں رہتی تھی۔ آدھے بسکٹ کو وہیں ڈبے میں چھوڑ کر، کتاب کو بند کرتے ہوئے، اٹھ کر غصے سے پاؤں پٹختی امیگریشن سے ہوتی ہوئی جہاز کی طرف چل پڑی۔

جہاز میں کرسی پر بیٹھ کر اپنے دستی تھیلے کو اس میں سےعینک نکالنے کیلئے کھولا تو یہ دیکھ کر حیرت سے اس کی جان ہی نکل گئی کہ اس کا خریدا ہوا بسکٹ کا ڈبہ تو جوں کا توں تھیلے میں بند رکھا ہوا تھا۔ندامت اور شرمندگی سے اس کا برا حال ہو رہا تھا۔ اسے اب پتہ چل رہا تھا کہ وہ ہوائی اڈے پر بسکٹ اس شخص کے ڈبے سے نکال کر کھاتی رہی تھی۔

اس نے گاڑی پوسٹ آفس کے باہر روک دی، "ابا یہ لیجیے آپ یہ 100 روپے رکھ لیجیے جب پینشن لے چکیں گے تو رکشے میں گھر چلے جائیے گا، مجھے دفتر سے دیر ہو رہی ہے"۔۔

بوڑھے باپ کو اُتار کر وہ تیزی سے گاڑی چلاتا ہوا آگے نکل گیا، افضل چند لمحے بیٹے کی دور جاتی ہوئی گاڑی کو دیکھتا رہا پھر ایک ہاتھ میں پینشن کے کاغذ اور ایک ہاتھ میں بیٹے کا دیا ہوا سو روپے کا نوٹ پکڑے وہ اُس لمبی سی قطار کے آخرمیں جا کر کھڑا ہو گیا جس میں اُسی جیسے بہت سے بوڑھے کھڑے تھے، سب کے چہروں پر عمر رفتہ کے نشیب و فراز پرانی قبروں پر لگے دُھندلے کتبوں کی مانند کندہ تھے۔

آج پینشن لینے کا دن تھا، قطار لمبی ہوتی جارہی تھی، پوسٹ آفس کی جانب سے پینشن کی رقم ادا کرنے کا عمل خاصا سست تھا۔ سورج آگ برساتا تیزی سے منزلیں طے کرنے میں مصروف تھا، بے رحم تپتی دھوپ بوڑھوں کو بے حال کرنے لگی، کچھ اُدھر ہی قطار میں ہی بیٹھ گئے، افضل بھی بے حال ہونے لگا، اُس نے اپنے آپ کو سنبھالنے کی بہت کوشش کی مگر ناکام رہا اور لڑکھڑا کر اُدھر قطار میں ہی بیٹھ گیا،

اچانک ذہن کے پردے پر اپنے بیٹے کا بچپن ناچنے لگا، وہ جب کبھی اچھلتے کودتے گر جاتا تو وہ کیسے دوڑ کر اُسے اپنی بانہوں میں اٹھا لیتا تھا، اس کے کپڑوں سے دھول جھاڑتا، اُس کے آنسو نکلنے سے پہلے ہی اُسے پچکارتا، پیار کرتا، مگر آج وہ خود لڑکھڑا کر دھول میں لتھڑ رہا تھا اور اُسے اٹھانے والا اُسے یہاں اس طرح چھوڑ کر چلا گیا تھا۔ وہ مٹھی کھول کر100 روپے کے اس نوٹ کو دیکھنے لگا جو صبح بیٹا اُس کے ہاتھ میں تھما کر چلا گیا تھا، وہ سوچنے لگا کہ ساری عمر ایمانداری سے ملازمت کر کے، بیٹے کو پڑھا لکھا کر، اُس کی شادی کر کے کیا اُس کی زندگی کا سفر اس 100 روپے کے نوٹ پر آ کر ختم ہو گیا ہے؟

3. Registration and Preliminary Selection Procedure. Candidates can either
register by visiting nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs), Regimental
Centers and Army Selection and Recruitment Offices (AS&ROs).
a. Written Tests. Written Test for entries of soldiers, matric and above is an
important segment of induction process. Pattern of question paper will be on
the following lines:-
(1) English (30 Marks). This part will consist of easy translation both
English to Urdu and Urdu to English and simple singular/plurals.
(2) Urdu (20 Marks). This portion will include the corrections of sentences,
simple singular/plurals and change of the gender.
(3) Mathematics (20 Marks). 5 questions framed from Factorization,
Logarithm, Subtraction of Polynomials, Algebra and Variations will be
given in this section.
(4) General Knowledge,Islamiyat and Geography (10 Marks each). In
these segments 10 question each from all three subjects will be asked
from the candidates in the form of fill in the blanks and multiple choice.
6. Documents Required at AS&RCs
a. Original certificate / detailed Marks Sheet of Matric/FA/FSc / Equivalent.3
b. Computerized National Identity Card for 18 years and above or Computerized
Form “B” alongwith Guardian’s Computerized National Identity Card (Father or
Mother) for less than 18 years old.
c. Two set of attested photocopies of above mentioned documents.
d. 6 x Coloured photos duly attested (front and back) by Principal/Class 1
Gazetted Officer.

Qarz-e-Hasana

Qarz-e-Hasana or the microfinance loan facility is aimed at helping the industry raise current access level of 2.5 million people to 5.0 million in the next 5 years.

Eligibility criteria:

Vulnerable rural and urban poor with a poverty score of up to 40.

Focus on women:

It is believed that increased economic participation by women can play a significant role in national development. In an attempt to encourage the same, 50% of loans will be given to female borrowers.

In addition, independent economic activity will empower Pakistani women both socially and in terms of finances.

Geographical spread:

The national outreach of the scheme would not be limited in geographic terms. However, preference would be given to limited and un-served areas.

This is aimed at engaging the population of these areas in greater economic activity and strengthening the process of development there.

Pricing:

It is Qarz-e-Hasana or interest free loan. Therefore, no mark-up would be charged.

Size and number of loans:

250,000 loans of an average amount of Rs.25,000 would be disbursed as part of the scheme.

Government Grant 2013-14:

Rs.3.5 billion have been allocated to the scheme by the Federal Government.

Executing agency:

PPAF would be the central executing agency of the scheme. Enlisted partner organizations and community organizations that have necessary expertise and experience will be engaged in the process.

De-centralization in the process of execution implies greater transparency and increased efficiency.

Recycling:

To make the fund sustainable, borrowers will be encouraged to return the loan. The amount returned will be deposited to the permanent fund available to the community and be used for future lending.

In addition, the process will introduce the borrowers to conversion from being “takers” to “givers” that implies positive social and financial effects.

Small Business Loans Scheme will focus on unemployed educated youth aspiring to establish new enterprises.

An individual, male or female, of age not more than 35 years and has an entrepreneurial potential is eligible to apply for the scheme.

Debt-Equity ratio:

It is fixed at 8% for the borrower. However, the difference in the cost will be paid by the Federal Government at KIBOR+500 bps.

Refinancing:

The State Bank of Pakistan shall explore providing 50% refinance at the risk of participating banks.

Risk mitigation:

Government will share 50% of losses subject to a maximum of 10% of the loan amount.

Size of Loan:

The amount of each loan can range from Rs.0.5 million to Rs 2.0 million.

Average Loan Size:

The average loan size would be Rs.1.25 million.

Allocation in Budget 2013-14:

Rs.5 billion have been allocated in the budget for the financial year 2013-2014.

Executing agency:

In the initial phase of the scheme, the National Bank of Punjab and First Women Bank would act as the executing agencies of the scheme under the guidance and supervision of the State Bank of Pakistan. Other Banks will be encouraged to join.

Stipend:

A monthly stipend of Rs.10,000 shall be paid to each selected applicant for a period of 12 months.

Number of interns:

50,000 interns would be hired under the operations of the scheme.

A budget of Rs.4.0 billion has been allocated to the scheme for the financial year 2013-2014.

Executing agency:

A top class management consulting firm/university from the private sector in collaboration with the Government will be responsible for the design, placement of internees and their periodic evaluation.

Partnership with the private sector would increase financial transparence, ensure selection on merit and produce more efficient outcomes/results.

Training program:

Focal points in each private and public office will be responsible for ensuring effective use of the internees’ services.

Areas of training:

In addition to government offices on local, provincial and federal levels, all leading firms from the private and development sector will be offered services of the internees.

The government would support a fee equivalent to or less than Rs.3,000 per month for a duration of six months

Stipend:

A monthly stipend of Rs.2,000 for six months would be paid to each beneficiary of the scheme.

Number of Trainees:

As estimated, 25,000 individuals will benefit from the scheme in the capacity of ‘trainees’.

Budget Allocation FY 2013-14:

Rs.800 Million have been allocated to the scheme in the Financial Year 2013-2014 Budget.

Executing agency:

NAVTTC/Ministry of Education and Trainings would be the central executing agency of the scheme. Provincial TEVTAs and the Federal Government Skills Training Institutes that are to work in collaboration with the central executing agency, will be responsible for designing the program and the final evaluation form.

Training program:

Standardized training modules of trades with a global demand will be offered. The duration of each will be six months.
