There are only few people in the world who fight for their dreams, yesterday when i heard Pakistani news and my fellow facebook mates told me that LDA building has fm 103 studio.. 1st thought came in my mind was how long it would take to resume the transmission.. In fact how long i will not be able to listen Sahir. But today after hearing that he is travelling to faisalabad from lhr ( two distant cities of Pakistan ) & will do 3 hours radio show , i shouted like " wohoooo this is what we say passion"..and after radio he will travel back to lahore for his work. Wow!!
!!

But here i must mention its not a person's act only.. The whole team is there for credit. From his driver to his online team, i say ' salute to you'..

Sahir Lodhi is surely one of the best TV hosts of current times, and it seems like he is now completely ready to take himself a step forward in showbiz world by finally making a debut in Pakistani Films. Sahir Lodhi said, “I have got a huge interest in doing films and in fact I am doing couple of movies…. one of them hopefully with Reema while others are in cooking”.This all means that Pakistan film industry is surely soon going to get a new face in shape of Sahir Lodhi. (Qur'an 2:154) On defense day The Sahir Show paid tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our dear homeland Pakistan .....whose silence sings our national anthem. Set was decorated with huge posters of Martyrs, Pak Green Flag and mesmerizing green lights. Reema Khan, Abrar-ul-Haq, Humaira Channa, Amjad Islam Amjad, Saira Naseem and most special guests...Martyr's family was invited at the show. Humaira Channa praised pakistani soldiers in her beautiful voice Ay watan k sajeelay jawano.... mery naghmy tumhary liye hen..... Abrarul Haq presented his love for Pakistan by singing.... Ay watan piyary watan.... tho dil afroz baharon ka taro taza chaman tho mehakty hoey pholon ka sohana gulshan..... Theme of the show was nicely presented...higher souls who wear the martyr's crown were praised. These heroes died for liberty - they died for Pakistan's identity-They are at rest. They sleep in the land they made free, under the flag they rendered stainless.... Having paid tribute to the heroes a message was delivered by the host....Sahir said we should finish biasness and live with peace and harmony in the country. The Sahir show bears its name on the air…. the show is all about selling the viewers entertaining and thoughtful discussions. In August, special show on Jashn e Azadi was presented.

The show started with beautiful national song watan ke miti gawah rehna music in the background… green lights were lit up…national flag was waving…overall ambiance of the set was supporting well theme of the show….everyone was there to pay tribute to beloved homeland Pakistan.

Guest Habib ur Rehman, Truck Art Master was invited first. Truck art is an indigenous form of art performed in Pakistan in which colorful floral patterns, human heroes images are painted on the trucks, calligraphy of poetic verses and driver’s words of wisdom all make this art truly a part of Pakistani transport tradition.

Third guest from everyday life was Asif, he owns a taxi which is decorated with National flag and signatures of many important personalities, Asif has given a beautiful title to this Taxi….peace

Sahir Lodhi was born on May 21 in Karachi, Pakistan's is a famous TV presenter and actor in Pakistan. Lodhi hearts throb of millions of people. Sahir Lodhi is a second son of Roshan Ali Gohar Taj Lodhi Lodhi among four children. Sahir Lodhi eldest brother is Aamir Lodhi, the younger brother is Tahir Lodhi and sister Dr. Shahista Wahidi. He is married to Sumera. He had made many successful programs and television series.

Sahir Lodhi was educated in the school of Government and moved to U.S. for high quality education. Lodhi studied Petroleum Engineering in Houston. He was also doing radio in Houston from Sangeet Radio. After returning to Pakistan in 2005 began working at Radio Active FM 96 in Karachi, then later joined Mast FM 103. Sahir Lodhi’s sister Dr. Shaista Wahidi introduced himself to a producer Ghazanfar Ali in Indus TV, where he started to make a Show "Chai Time" which was actually a hit morning show.

Sahir Lodhi saw many phases of life. He did “Geo Television’s” “Shair Online”, “Kuch Tum Kahao Kuch Hum Kahain”, “Ranjhey Sassi Punoon Heer” a game show “Dhorajee” from “ARY Digital”, later on “The Sahir Lodhi Show” from TV One and than “Morning Masala” from “News One” and couple of projects on other TV channels. Sahir Lodhi is a Pakistani actor and a host of radio and TV shows. He made his first TV appearance in Chai Time on Indus TV, which became a hit morning show.^[1] Some of his most popular shows are Shair Online, Kuch Tum Kahao Kuch Hum Kahain, Ranjhey Sassi Punoon Heer, Dhorajee, The Sahir Lodhi Show and Morning Masala. Lodhi is passionate about radio, especially his program The Sahir Show on Mast FM 103.

Personal life

Lodhi was born to Roshan Ali Gohar and Taj Lodhi in Karachi. He grew up in a family with two brothers and one sister (Amir Lodhi, Tahir Lodhi and Dr. Shaista Wahidi). He started his learning at Pakistan Navy Boys School and received a Masters in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech of the University of Montana.

The Sahir Show (Monday-Friday) is an Pakistani radio show airing on Mast FM (103). Hum Tum was a story series of Sahir's program, in which he played both roles of a man(voice) and a woman(voice) of a film. This series was all the based on Hum Tum's story an Indian film. He played the role of man (in Saif Ali Khan's voice) and woman (in Rani Mukerji's voice). He completed the story of Hum Tum in some of his programs.^[4]

The Sahir Show once again surprised its viewers by presenting a unique couple… Syed Moid & Sana… in its Wedding Mast hy segment, a part from this the show brought to its viewers special story of Mr. Waqar and glittering performance of Fuzon band .
Sahir hosts special couple Sana & Moid (deaf & dumb) …… Taking vows in silence
Wedding Mast hy is a much famous segment of the show which presents unique couples and this time Syed Moid & Sana were the guests. Couples’ interview by Sahir was just fantastic. It was a real fun to watch Sahir interviewing this special couple. The couple was communicating through an interpreter Mr. Aqeel. The couple communicated that we may be deaf and dumb but live our life as normal as others do, we may not hear each other’s voice but we know too well what our partner has to say…hmmm… can someone understand our this chemistry….
There is always an underlined message in every episode of The Sahir and this time the show presented what is it like living life of a special person. When you are not hearing well, communication can become the problem, not sure what you should communicate and the most terrible part is people around you do not help which shaken your confidence. In the phrase “deaf and dumb,” the word “dumb” does not mean “stupid,” but rather “unable to speak.” They are equally competent and mentally strong as any other normal persons are.
Mr. Waqar was the next guest on the show, his struggling story was very impressive…he encountered one block after another but never gave up hope…. he is a music organizer and has devoted his life for special children.
Fuzon band’s appearance on the show was welcomed with a huge round of applause by the audience. The jolliest part of the show was when Fuzon band sang the song…Sino me ly k jazbath… hatho me ly k hath… han bolo… k rasty kat jaey gy……
In a nutshell it was a fun-packed program…..

Sahir Lodhi loves talking, in fact, he is perpetually on talk mode even when he is not on the waves hosting Houston's popular "Music Marathon' or djing his own radio show 'Geetmala', both on AM 1180. But that's not all that he does with ease and confidence.

Lodhi is multi talented young man originally from Pakistan who shot to fame as the DJ almost instantly with the launch of the desi radio station and continues to woo his listeners to an arrayed selection of old and new Pakistani and Hindi filmi songs and ghazals everyday. His popularity as a DJ is however, more by chance then choice. "I never did radio before I came to Houston. Stage is where I belong," Lodhi confessed, in his exclusive interview with this reporter soon after he announced the launch of his home production "Deewar', a play written, directed and enacted by Lodhi to be released in Houston on Friday April 2 at the Stafford Civic Center.
"Deewar' presented by VIRSA and Affordable Mortgage Inc., is a sensitive melodrama weaved around the oft attempted issues of Kashmir – religious fragmentation and persistent terrorism. The central character – a Pakistani Muslim spy played by Lodhi himself, portrays the sensitivities of a highly trained spy who is entwined in emotions unfamiliar to him before his encounter with a Kashmiri Hindu boy. What gets better of him, his duties or his humane feelings for the boy suffering from leukemia, is for the audience to watch and judge.
Asked what his true feelings were behind the whole idea of the play and if he was trying to be an ambassador of peace? Lodhi replied simply, "I'm just an artist and art is the best form I can express myself." But Lodi was surely attempting more then just entertaining with his play, when he stated, "There is so much hatred between India and Pakistan that it goes beyond Kashmir," he said. "You can live on either side of the wall as long as you don't hate each other and don't make religion as the base of your decision and judgment," he said in all earnest.
Deewar, which took two and a half years in the making, is a subject obviously very close to the writer's heart and he feels that his entire team has done great justice to their roles. He liberally gives the credit to his team who he says have treated the subject with great sensitivity and sincerity.
Lodhi, a child prodigy who has been acting on stage since he was six years old, hopes to make it to the big screen one day. His play is already on DVD and video. Though not formally trained in acting, he shows tremendous confidence. Agreeing to the fact that stage is more challenging then films, he said, " Stage is very rude as t tells you right in your face where you stand," "But I have dealt with situations all my life and with my experience in acting I feel very confident," he added.
And as the theme of the play goes 'moments are life, and life can change,' we can only wait and see the artist at his best.

Multitalented enthusiastic guy is the other name for Sahir Lodhi.He is doing a cool show " the sahir show " on 103 fm & is equally hit as an anchor & actor on tv .He believes in hard work, dedications & luck !.He makes words from words & not every body can do this super thing. Equally confident Sahir came back from Houston & has proved himself till now with his talent & work.
