A typical busy night in LA

(LA as in Landskrona, Scania)

Today it was one really nice afternoon. So I went out on the beach and found out that the pier was removed for the winter. Already!
The first really nice afternoon in ages. And I couldn't take a walk out on the pier to talk to the seagulls. Thanks for that!

On the other hand I had to find my ice scraper this morning...

A day full of activities and other things to do. On my way home it started to rain. And I thought i was clever to wait to shoot till I come home today.
No smart thinking of a tired me it seemed like... But then when I had parked my car it stopped raining.
Great success! But not quite that good picture today.

Anyway. This is a bench that is very wet and not sitable in quite a while. And the normal nightlife a Tuesday in Landskrona

The worst thing to do with a camera.

Shoot direct into the sun. And think you still want to preserve the shaddows. And to make it even worse you shoot in direct contact with salt water.

Yes. Me, myself and my camera get really wet. But everything is ok during Oktoberfest!

And I dont really know if I succeeded with the combination of shadows and highlight in this one. A though situation to deal with.

You always need power in order to continue doing what you are great at.

And today it was the longest period with sun so far during october. Some some recharging of the batteries.
And then came the rain again

Only a small check to see that everything is on its right place. Except for one 13mm spanner.

Nothing with inch on it goes into my toolbox! :)

Now it's officially winter. The cars are parked for the winter and put to sleep. Soon it's spring again and time to present the cars to some open road.

Next year we will try to put this beuty on the road as well.

One of those days.

It's not so hard to shot BW up here during the autumn (and winter+spring) cause the world helps you do so. Everything is fifty shades of grey.

On the third day I found proof that it is not so hard to shoot at f/2 for a whole month in Sweden. This pic is taken inside a small forest. I had to crank up the ISO to 400 to get a decent shutter time. At half four.
It's a bit crazy.

And this pic shows the main weak spot of this lens. Fugly bokeh

Two thoughts from day 2:

It seems that I usually shoot with the main subject in the left corner. Think I should change that thing a bit...

And it also seems that I like to shoot mailboxes.

Scouting

And this month will be full of it. Almost each weekend and evening contains loads of meetings and discussion. So it will be a great and inspiring month.

I really like the part that in Sweden is called "papperscouting". Its for us that like to discuss scouting and scout politics in a theoretical way. And it seems that October is a very busy month for us.

So, I'm not completley gone. But only a bit away. For a long time.

Right now am I covering the World Scout Jamboree and having a blast.

My 365x-project is still active, but only private right now. I might publish the whole project later on. But for now I will be away a bit more.

Another friend working hard (but without coffee)

Had to shoot a friend. And as a soon to be engineer he had to have his cup of coffee.

My brother come to visit me so I had to shoot a pic of him. Unfortunately I didn't nailed the focus.

But a good thing with the visit: planning a trip to Bremen Classic. And that is nice :D
