My husband does not like our bathroom because it is so chic. It's pink! Me and my daughter on the other hand love it. The former owner used pink tiles and wall cover on the wall. To torment my husband a little more, I hanged my cross stitched rose and the rose painting that I won on a giveaway on the wall of the bathroom lol. Sorry hon, I am woman and I love pink!

Then at the bottom of those wall decor is this vinatge rose bath set that a friend of mine gave me as a birthday present..

When my daughter was born, she received an extra special treatment from my sister in law, Chris. She would always make a matching outfit for her including dresses and hats. I actually miss those baby times when she did not mind wearing a hat. Now that she is growing up, she isn't fond of wearing hats anymore. These are the Bible at our home. We read the children's version most of the time.

We bought the big one when we had our first born, this is our family Bible.
The blue one is a children version, it was given to my son during his baptism by his godparents.
The green one was the offered Bible during our church wedding.
The colorful Bible was our Christmas gift to our daughter last year.
The small blue one on the side was our remembrance from our stay in South Korea.
The smallest one was given to us by some religious group from the place we visited. I kept it at my pocket.

Business is amazing for me right now but you know, I think it’s great because I’ve been pouring my heart and soul into this little company. It’s crazy being a small business owner in this day and age but there’s such a feeling of control and accomplishment that goes along with it it’s really nice for me to be able to manage my own time and finances and make decisions for my own little company. I got small business XO for the office because that’s going to make it easier for me to be away and let my sister take the reins. Anyway, I love being my own boss and though it’s a lot of responsibility I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I think back to the days when I would work in a cubicle all day long and it’s hard for me to imagine being there now because I can’t believe I put up with it for so long. There’s nothing like being a small business owner and knowing you’re succeeding!

Working overseas has it's advantages and disadvantages. It's advantageous because in some countries you are exclude from paying taxes in your own country. Imagine how much you can save for taxes each year. I miss that actually because when hubby was stationed overseas, we did not pay taxes at all. Our friend just came back from other country after living there for 20 years and he said that even if he is spending lavishly with his salary, he still managed to save at least 3 grand each month. How awesome is that. So when he came back here, he has a lot of cash stashed in his bank. He bought a house in cash, that's a lot of savings from paying interest if you will get a loan right? Being overseas is also disadvantageous because you are far from your friends and family. But I think that the disadvantages outweighed that part.

He is planning to put up a business and he said that he would need to get a job first so he could qualify for business grants. He did not want to spend all his money into it because part of it was his daughter's educational fun. Good thing there are web site like Business Grants that provides great tool to help entrepreneurs and business owners find and apply for legit small business grant opportunities.

If you live in a place where there are skate ramps, you know how busy that place is during summer time. Teenagers love to have their exercise in this kind of activity! My son just turned 5 and I am wondering if he would be interested in this kind of outdoor activity? Right now, he is into baseball.

One thing that I love where our home is situated is the fact that we are in the middle of many establishments like the school, church, post office, shopping area and restaurants. There is two big game fields by the church where we always play during summer. We love throwing frisbie with our dogs because of the wide area that we all can run around. It also has an Aluminum Bleachers where we can sit when we get tired. It's a very nice are to do family exercise.

Now that it's winter, the only activity that Champ, our dog, has is playing goalie inside the house. Wish we could provide him with dog exercise equipment so he can have a regular activity. In a couple of weeks, Champ will have a playmate here at home, my sister-in-law is giving us a pure breed pup. That would be another big chore for me to train the new addition. I was looking for something that could help us ease our job but I couldn't find the exact product that I was looking. I found some Pet Waste Stations instead. Terra Bound solutions different kinds of these and they also have Portable Bleachers and many other products that you can use outdoors.

I joined ABC Wednesday since Round 8 and I am proud to say that I did not have any absences, wohoooo. Comic Relief

My daughter's school is sponsoring a Comic Relief this month which will feature some of the best comedians in the nearby city. The ticket is cost $50 each which is nice to set those winter blues away by laughing out with this comedy show. I haven't attended to any of it in the past so I don't know if there is a crowd control at the venue. Basing the pictures that I've seen in the newsletter and yearbook, I've seen velvet rope along the line of people that are attending.

In my country, most of the entertainment that you'd see is concert. Filipinos love to sing or should I say, they love music so much even if the music doesn't love some of us back lol. Even in schools, they would organize a concert event and over there, they definitely need stanchions or barricades, or else the crowd will go uncontrolled. Oh I miss those times when I have to stay late in school and attend to events of the students.
