Salma Hayek Angered by Paparazzi’s treatment of her baby
Now that pictures of celebrities’ babies are the hottest things in Hollywood – to the point where the pictures of Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez’s twins commanded a whopping six million dollars - Salma Hayek has found herself seriously disturbed and alarmed at the lengths the papparazzi will go through just to get a picture of her baby.

It has been reported that the 41-year old star of such blockbusters as Desperado and Frida was constantly hounded by photographers ever since she became pregnant, and the intensity and frequency of the photography stalking and hounding has increased by the time she had her daughter, Valentina.

Salma’s concern has reached an all time high last february when a violent clash with photographers almost resulted in her daughter being thrown off her caretaker’s arms and into the pavement. As Salma recalls, it started when a group of photographers started aggressively taking pictures of her with the nanny and Valentina. When she started screaming at them to mind the baby, the photographers started pushing the nanny, who then fell to the floor while holding the baby.

Salma states that she wasn’t entirely sure if the papparazzi’s were trying to take a picture or deliberately pushing the baby just to provoke a reaction from her. From her perspective it seemed almost deliberate.

It’s been a long time coming, but Actress Salma Hayek is reported to have made plans to marry her businessman fiance Francois-Henri Pinault this summer of 2008 at St. Tropez. This news will not come as a shock since the couple have been very public about their relationship from the start, and due to the arrival of their baby daughter Valentina Paloma last year.

Influmedia.com has reported that the 41-year old star of such Hollywood blockbusters as Wild,Wild West and Desperado has already accepted the proposal of his French millionaire fiance and is currently shopping around for an ideal wedding gown.

The couple first met in April of 2006, and have started appearing together offscreen before publicly admitting their relationship in 2007.

It has been reported last Tuesday by Mexican newspaper El Universal that actresses Salma Hayek were both staying at a known drug trafficker’s site back in 2004 while shooting the film “Bandidas” in Mexico. Said house was owned by a person named Sergio Villareal, who is under investigation by the Mexican Attorney General’s Office for suspicions about being a key member of the Beltran Leyva Organisation, which is a drug syndicate being run by brothers of the same name, and are under sanctions by the US Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Designation Act. Witnesses have confirmed that the Mexican Hayek and Spanish Cruz did stay at Sergio Villareal’s Eagle Rock ranch in the Durango state. Currently, the Mexican Attorney General’s office has declined to give further comments, stating that the investigation is still ongoing and strictly confidential.

Apparently, the star actress reported that her baby cracks up laughing in the middle of the night. Babies normally cry, fart or even snore during the night. But laughing? Time for a paedo-psycho-analyst to fid out what’s going on.

This has given Hayek the opportunity to be the Avon spokesperson in 1995 and even supported the Violence against Women Act. Hayek with her heart going out to every woman all around the globe despising violence donated $25,000 to her hometown. Its main beneficiaries are battered women who wanted to escape the violence they’ve experienced in their lives. Aside from doing lead roles in movies and television, Salma Hayek has also managed to be the co producer of the film Frida. In that same year she was also able to direct and produced the movie, The Maldonado Miracle granting her a Daytime Emmy Award. Movies were not only the ones she gave focus on as she directed a music video entitled “Te Amo Corazon”. She also became an executive producer for “Ugly Betty”, a popular TV series in the United States. Although she wasn’t able to get married and raise a whole family of her own, Salma celebrated her motherhood when her first born daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault was born.
