Like many sufferers, Anna has always had difficulty pinpointing her triggers.

“My allergies have always been really hard to pin-down.  Sometimes it seems to come without warning – I’ll be fine one minute and the next my eyes will be streaming, my throat will feel totally blocked and I’ll have real trouble breathing normally.

I first used the pipe in the evening and by the time I went to bed I found myself to be breathing freely through both nostrels.In the morning I found my sinus’s were still clear and have pretty much remained that way since.

I attended several ENT outpatient clinics but without any relief being forthcoming so in January 2004 I was given an appointment in the day surgery unit to have my sinuses washed out & any nasal polyps removed. The result of this was the wash was done but no polyps could be found & I still had a blocked left nostril.

Between the winter of 2002 & January 2004 I was prescribed antibiotics for infected
