Their collaboration with Sammi Cheng entitled “Forgiveness” was recognized at the Hong Kong Digital Media Awards.

Andy Murphy is one of Australia’s most prolific young DJs, constantly touring the world and making appearances in clubs, events and international dance music festivals, such as Stereosonic, Future Music Festival, Summadayze, Fall Festival and Creamfields, among many others. His talent has also taken him to Miami, New York and Los Angeles where he played at Steve Aoki’s infamous Dim Mak! *screams out load* Most recently, Andy Murphy also graced the Global Art of Mixing stage in Taiwan last year, where he played at Hennessy Artistry and collaborated with Korean-Canadian artist G.NA to deliver a show-stopping performance. Nicole Chen is one of the most prominent DJ personalities in Singapore, known for her energetic and electrifying up-tempo electro-house / dirty-dutch sets. The former Miss Earth Singapore 2007 found her calling in electronic dance music and honed her DJing craft for six years, a journey which took her from Singapore to Melbourne, Sydney and eventually New York City, where she immersed herself in music production at Dubspot, known for being the world’s premier electronic music and DJ school in the world. Her outstanding talent and ear for music has taken her around the world to play at festivals, VIP events, clubs and openings. Her portfolio includes opening for huge international names which include Steve Aoki, Benny Benassi, Felix the Housecat and more.

Last but not least, Alex Asquared is one of the artists line-up. He is a part of Deer Society – a DJ trio that has garnered a cult following in Kuala Lumpur thanks to their distinctive indie and nu-disco sets. Taking on the role of a “culture collective”, Deer Society has been creating waves in the music, arts and party scene in KL with their events and approach, hitting the right notes with clubbers and music lovers who have been looking for an alternative club/party experience. Individually, Asquared is known for his versatility in delivering cross genre sets that are unique and madly appealing. His signature beats cover the genres of nu-disco, ghetto, indie-dance and tech house, a fantastic addition to H-Artistry’s Global Art of Mixing platform.

The wait is over! *pops confetti* On the 27th April 2013, Samsung Malaysia Electronics celebrated the arrival of Samsung GALAXY S4, the next generation handset. To commemorate this auspicious event, Samsung invited Malaysia’s leading operators such as Maxis, Celcom, Digi and U Mobile alongside with Samsung Mobile Brand Shops. As the unveiling of GALAXY S4 took place at a flagship outlet of each operator, Samsung entertained the guests with a host of entertaining performances such as flash mob, cheerleading, mimic and many more! Yes, it was indeed a day filled with non-stop entertainment on the streets of Kuala Lumpur. *double triple pops confetti*

The GALAXY S4 is equipped with a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 441ppi, 13 megapixel rear camera with 12 outstanding shooting modes ,The Dual Camera which enables to use both the front and back camera at the same time, Drama Shot and Sound & Shot to store the surrounding.

It is without a doubt that the GALAXY S4 was designed to make every moment meaningful for a richer, simpler and fuller life. According to Mr. Kwon Jae Hoon, Managing Director of Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn. Bhd., “the GALAXY S4 aims to make everyday living better and conceives how people integrate mobile devices in their daily life, making it the perfect Life Companion. This device showcases best-in-class hardware technology and software features that are borne of insights from our consumers around the world”. In other words, the GALAXY S4 would be the perfect Life Companion to everyone. ;)

I do think that Samsung Malaysia did a fantastic job to greet the arrival of the GALAXY S4. The bright colors, loud music and eye-catching performance surely did stood out on the streets and shopping malls. One thing for sure, they attracted a large crowd from one location to another; I mean I won't be surprise that people followed the marching road show. If you were there, you would certainly understand what I'm talking about. Don't let me get started on the queue to fiddle with the GALAXY S4 which went all the way out of the store. *stun for a moment* And yet everyone was willing to wait patiently to get up close with the handset despite the long wait. I believe they didn’t regret to do so as well. *evil grins*

Looking at the photos, don't you agree with me that it felt like a carnival just hit the town? *giggles*

Facts about the unique GALAXY S4. The Group Play function allows people to enjoy music, photos, documents and games without the need of Wi-Fi or cellular signal and the Share Music feature on Group Play creates the best party atmosphere as it is able to sync the same song playing with multiple GALAXY S4 at the same time! Also the S Translator feature provides immediate instant translation using text or voice input on email, text message and ChatON. The GALAXY S4 supports HSPA+42 Mbps – effortless high speed connectivity on the streets, at work or at home.

Liyana Jasmay and Awal Asahari were head over heels with the GALAXY S4! I mean see their faces, they couldn't get enough of it. *grins teeth*

In addition, the Samsung Smart Pause tracks eye movement so when the user looks away, it will pause the video and resume once it detects the eye attention return to the screen. As for the Samsung Smart Scroll, it tracks eyesight to scroll up and down webpages by just tilting the handset. One of my favorite features, Air View, hover with users’ fingers to preview the content of an email, S Planner, image gallery or video without the need to open the application individually. Similar to the Air View, Air Gesture allows user to change music track by scrolling up and down a web page, and also accept a call with a simple wave of the hand.

Moreover the S VOice TM Drive, users can use voice control to activate commands which will be quite useful while you’re driving, don’t you think so? All the users need to do is to connect the GALAXY S4 with a car Bluetooth and instantly the phone turns into driving mode converting text to speech to allow users check messages without looking at the screen. Also the Optical Reader automatically recognize text, business card or QR code information. Also another function that I find to be cool is the WatchON, it literally transforms the GALAXY S4 into an Infrared remote to control home entertainment system such as TV, set-top box, DVD player and air conditioner. Indirectly this makes the GALAXY S4 a universal remote control in the house! *jaw drops*

I am an Explorer of Food

I’m guessing you’re stun to read my title isn’t it? This is because many people don’t believe that I actually DO enjoy food. Despite I want to keep fit and slim, I still have my cheat days from time to time. It’s only that for the past month I have more cheat days than I’m suppose to have. More so when comes to dealing pre and post exam syndrome, food is my remedy. *laugh out loud* Hence that’s why I’ve been on a food hunting spree, trying out new food at new places and most of the time I did it with Vivian. Not only she is my partner-in-crime when comes to party, she is also my partner-in-crime when comes to food. *grins from ear to ear* So we don’t starve ourselves as people assume we do (technically more so to Vivian) ; one thing for sure we ain’t that insane enough to do such thing. We LOVE our food too much to do so. ;)

Antipodean, Bangsar

At long last I managed to try the infamous Big Breakfast after hearing so many people talk about it. I was stunned when I saw the food portion, can feed two people. I’m particularly fond with the grilled mushroom and the scramble eggs; the combination is like heaven for me. *major loves* Though the price is quite pricey but it’s worth it in my opinion. It will be my new brunch place so don’t be surprise if you see me there often. *winks*

Usual favorite, Char Grilled Chicken with Crispy Turkey Salad.

Mexican Tortilla; a good option for those who are on diet as it has a lot of lean meat as well as vegetables in the wrap. Also the portion is really huge; unless you're a big eater, like really big, this is meant to feed two people in my opinion. ^^"

Three Little Pigs and The Big Bad Wolf, Bangsar Village

All pork lovers, this will be heaven for you. At least that’s how I feel when I was there. *loves* Practically they serve almost all kind of pork dishes that you can think of, ranging from eastern to western. It was so hard for me to pick one because I wanted to try them all. Ok, that may sound extreme but for pork lovers, you should be able to understand how I feel right. *evil grins*

Caesar Salad with Pork Bacon

Mighty Piggy Burger; I regretted that I didn't order this because according to my friend, he said its REAL GOOD. It can beat Fat Boy’s hands down so yea can't t wait to go there and try it for myself which will be real soon. teehee.

Thai Fried Rice; I wouldn't recommend this because it tasted average and it’s not the worth the money. Unless you're craving for rice, please order something else on the menu or not you’ll end up regretting like me. =.=

Serai, KL Life Centre

Signature Serai; since I seldom have this so I didn't know what to expect but it was good for me, especially the fried chicken and squid. :)

Serai's version of Pavalova, it was normal, average for me. The best Pavalova for me still remains at Delicious.

Magenta, Publika

“Bumped” into this cafe by accidentally actually as I was quite hesitated to try it out because I read not-so-good review about it but heck with it, I still wanted to try it myself. I don't know about their main dishes but their desserts are good. It was so good in fact that I ate several desserts one shot, shared of course. The cakes aren't big but it’s filled with strong flavors. Thus if you're looking for a quiet and nice place to chill out at Publika, I would recommend you to go to Magenta which is located further down from Ben’s. :)

Also if you're wondering why lately I have not been updating my blog…well its because my life is quite dull and boring, like literally. I have been cutting down on the party scenes since the beginning of the year which I know a lot of people are still very doubtful about it. Believe it or not, I'll l let you to decide. End of story. Also recently I've just completed my finals examination, to be exact two days ago. Hence now I have more free time to do the things I want and with the people I want to as well. I'm definitely gonna enjoy my holiday to the fullest since my holiday is only 2 weeks plus and then it’s off to a new semester for me. Two weeks is too short for a holiday! ><

As a matter of fact, the first thing I did was coloring my hair. *big wide smile* I've been wanting to do it since some time ago because the last time I colored my hair was a few days before my birthday and that was about 4 months ago. Not to mention my roots were so obvious that it made me so reluctant to take photo even. Yes, it was that extreme, but now no more! This time around I tried a new shade of color, ditching my red/purple base colors because I wanted something new. Therefore I opted for Dark Mahogany Blonde; what do you think? =3

After months and months of waiting, the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S4 will be launch in this coming week! *jumps in the air* Do you know that the Samsung Galaxy S4 made its first appearance at New York City last month and now its on the way to Malaysia to make its grand debut? I bet most of you has been hearing whispers and news about it right, more so for gadget lovers. Well I'm please to tell you guys the news is true and you can get up close with the Galaxy S4 real soon at Samsung major participating outlets. Not only that, Samsung has been busy creating a buzz about the Galaxy S4 on the city streets. FYI, Samsung had teamed up two musical families which made up of cappella singers accompanied by a quartet playing classical music to perform on the streets. In fact they have been travelling around the major shopping malls to spread the excitement of Galaxy S4 to the public and they did a good job indeed. I know this fact well because I witnessed their performance right before my very eyes. ;)

I Still Love The Little Things You Do

Recently I came across this love poem and when I read it, it instantly hits me. As in I can relate myself to the poem so I thought of sharing it with you. Though I may not know when or where I'll meet my one true love, this poem inspire me not to give up on love just yet and so should you. :)

I always knew that love would come find me someday
but never did I know that it would be you who was headed my way
you caught me off guard and took me by surprise
but you simply captivated me, the same way you do when I look into your eyes

It's true that every good and perfect gift is from above
you were presented to me as a beautifully packaged gift full of humor, talent, intelligence, beauty and love
"it isn't finding the perfect person but learning to see an imperfect person perfectly"
we all have our flaws but when I view you through my eyes, perfection is all I see

From when you laugh to when you're upset, I still love the little things you do
especially hearing you laugh and seeing your nose wrinkle the same way mine does too
coming into this relationship has been hard at times but we've made it through
I know as long as we're on this journey together, there's nothing that we can't do.

Sometimes I wonder if what we have is too good to be true

IACT College | Specialist in Creative Communication

They say that your university life will be the best years of your life and I find that to be very true indeed. I remember the moments when I started my pre-U, followed by my degree in honors. In fact, I still can remember how stressful I was in choosing my tertiary education because the decision was all on me and I had to bear the consequences of my actions. In a way I’m lucky that my parents give me the freedom to pursue in anything I want; after all its my life and not theirs. So I know how important it is to choose the right university because it’s a whole new different chapter in one’s life.

Recently I've been to IACT College located in Jaya One for a workshop and a tour around the campus. Frankly speaking I felt kinda ‘old’ when I saw the fresh SPM graduates because I used to be in their shoes about 5 years ago. *pulls face* Yes, I felt OLD indeed. *sigh* Oh wells, I can't reverse time. Talking about the workshop held in IACT College, I had a fun time in creating a digital icon of myself. FYI, the icon I created does not resemble me at all. LOL. My so-called-creativeness just took control of my hands and it started to move on its own. *chuckles*

It was a bad hair day for me. =/

So back to the topic, the main purpose I was invited to IACT was to share with everyone of you about a new program by IACT. This program is called IACT College’s Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Advertising and Design 3+0. IACT College and The University of Sunderland have signed an agreement that allows all Malaysian students to pursue a Honors Degree in Advertising & Design to be conducted completely at IACT College. So for those who would like to complete their degree locally due to budget issue, this will be a good choice for you. WeChat 2013 Party @ Neverland

Who will ever thought that I’ll be in a club on a Tuesday night? Well that happened to me recently when I attended WeChat 2013 Party held at Neverland Club. I doubt WeChat will sound strange to you as it is one of the well known applications in smartphones. WeChat allows you to communicate with others at no extra charge and yes, it is FREE. I like to think WeChat as an online walkie talkie that records audio message and send it to other people with a click of a button. Besides that if you have WeChat versions 4.2 and onwards, you can talk to your friends face to face by video call. I guess there’s no need for any normal phone calls with WeChat isn’t it. *chuckles* With WeChat, you can chat with your friends instantly via voice messages, texts, or images. In fact you can also create group chats to chat with several friends together.

I got to say this is one of the rare parties where I actually see most people came on time. The registration started at 7pm which there was a long queue already. I thought by reaching on time I can skip the queue but I was wrong. It seems that Malaysians are starting to be more punctual nowadays. lol. Upon registration, each of us was given a goodie bag containing a WeChat plush toy and a variety of vouchers. In addition a buffet dinner was prepared for all the guests at the party. Thankfully for that because many of us didn’t have time to eat, rushing from work (not me though :P) in an attempt to beat the unspeakable KL traffic. Ah yes, the city life never changes...

The game was relatively simple as the host, Rudy, asked the boys questions about girls and girls about boys.

Though Lance didn’t won the iPad, he did win a Hello Kitty speaker which he said he will give it to his sister. LOL.

Also I’m glad that I went to WeChat party because it felt like a high school gathering, as in bloggers I mean. I was stun to see so many bloggers attended that night, from the old ones to the new ones. I guess WeChat went all the way out to make this party a big one by inviting everyone in the social media. Needless do I need to mention about the corporate media who attended as well. Trust me when I say that it’s a rare sight to see this amount of bloggers that I know in one single event. Hence this is why I said it felt like a gathering party to me. hehe.

So if you have not download WeChat on your smartphones, you should by now. It is available in iOS, Android, Symbian, Windows Phone and BlackBerry. I mean nothing beats chatting for free right. It’s free and doesn't take up much space in your smartphone so I don't see why not download WeChat? :)

Vanity Trove | Beautiful Surprises

Before I start on my post, let me say thank you so much to the people who have given me the opportunity to work together on various campaigns through my blog. In a way it makes me feel happy because there are people reading my blog on a daily basis (which I hope you guys do). LOL. Anyways back to the topic on hand, I want to introduce you to Vanity Trove, one of the most well know beauty box in the market. I’m quite confident to say that most if not all beauty experts knows about Vanity Trove. Ain’t I right or ain’t I right? *chuckles*

On last Saturday afternoon, Vanity Trove invited a handful of beauty bloggers for a brunch session at The Vault. Frankly speaking I can remember my day started off real bad so please forgive me as I didn’t capture any photos during the brunch session. Regardless how the beauty box I received from Vanity Trove put a smile on my face; I felt like a little girl opening her presents under the Christmas tree. hehe. Also they provided complimentary manicure and pedicure but I couldn’t do mine as my nails were coated with gel manicure. Though I was told it was alright to put a normal coat on top of it, I didn’t want to put more ‘burden’ onto my nails.

Besides that, I had a great conversation with the people behind Vanity Trove such as Adrian and Winnie; they were kinda letting me in on how the beauty industry work about. As I’m not a real expert on beauty products, I learned a thing or two at least from listening to Adrian’s explanation. Most of us always think from the consumer side in what we want from a beauty box but not many of us take in the time to think from the company’s point of view as they need to satisfy both side of the parties. So thank you very much to the people at Vanity Trove for providing me clear cut answers when I asked, and I did ask quite a lot stuffs. *paiseh*

One of the most anticipated party of the year has ended on last week Saturday. Yes I know you know what I’m talking about, think of black/gold and there next thing comes into your mind is this, ‘keep walking’. With such obvious hints, no one wouldn’t know that I’m referring to Johnnie Walker Black Circuit. Thankfully most of my assignments have been submitted and now what’s left are presentation. If not I doubt it that I can make it to this year JW Black Circuit. Nonetheless this is one of the very few parties that I actually do look forward to compare to the rest. Not sure if you realize but most of the happening events I attended earlier this year were rave, and no, rave is not the same as party. Beside that, this was the first time I attended JW with Vivian alongside with GarJun; hence it was the three of us, single trios for the night.

OOTN || ASOS Exclusive Bow Details Playsuit

I know my outfit didn't matched the theme of the night but I did wore a pair of gold diamante heels to make up for it. As I was looking through the past years JW photos, I was wearing a black jumpsuit from ASOS as well so I thought this year I want to try something new, something different. Therefore I opted for this playsuit and I know, many people told me I look way too innocent for such a grand event like Johnnie Walker. Or so that’s what they thought until they saw my back… *evil grins*

I absolutely love the sexy open slit at the back which reach until my hips. It’s kinda hard to see in the photo but in real life, you can see my naked skin real well. ;)

I kid you not as I slowly see the photos taken the whole night, 90% of them are couples! *no eyes to see* Now I remember why Vivian and I kept on walking here and there all night long; well at least this fits Johnnie Walker slogan very well isn't it which is ‘Keep Walking’. LOL.

Imperfection is Individuality

Last weekend was probably the one of the busiest week I’ve encounter so far with FMFA, ASOT600KUL, make up video and assignment all jumble up together. You know what’s the best part? All of them are due on the same day or the next day after it. Hence I’m amaze that I manage to somehow magically finish everything on time and avoided being scold or chase by people. Phew~ *wipe sweat* I couldn't have done it without the help of my friends; without them I will most probably end up being grilled by people. Thank you so much Jaime for being in my make up video (which I’ll blog up later on), you look absolutely fantastic in the video by the way; I can’t say the same for me unfortunately. Also thank you Wee Liam for being the camera man despite you nearly drop my camera; you gain a plus point in my book and I know you’ll take care of my Jaime well. *winks* Beside that, I owe my utmost sincere gratitude to Brian who helped me out with the entire video editing process. I’m so sorry to kept you awake until 6am in the morning for it but man, you literally save me! So let me say this again, thank you!

Future Music Festival Asia 2013 @ Sepang International Circuit

I’’m just fresh out from Future Music Festival Asia (FMFA), my third rave this year. *woots woots* Honestly speaking I didn't expect that this year I will evolve into a rave person; I guess I surprise myself? *laugh out loud* As all of you know, FMFA was held for two days back-to-back on Friday and Saturday. However I chose to attend on Friday only, that was the ‘A State Of Trance (ASOT)’ which basically is the mother of all rave scenes in Malaysia. Did you know for that night only, the crowd reached up to 80,000 people?! Yes I kid you not and I could understand why because they had one of the best DJs line up such as Armin Vin Buuren, Cosmic Gate, Ben Gold, and so forth. I was counting down the days to ASOT because my whole month of March was literally all about it only!

Thank you so much to Don Chan and Asahi Malaysia for giving me money-can’t-buy VIP media pass! I know I have been saying this a number of times but I doubt I can thank them enough. You guys are seriously THE BEST! ♥

Started out my rave night by putting down my hair but it ALWAYS ends up in a ponytail in the end.

Believe it or not that Vivian, Rachel and I managed to squeeze our way all the way to the front?! Despite it was a hard and long journey, we definitely felt it was worth it when we were able to get so close to the DJ’ stage. You wouldn't believe how hard we rave that night once we were in the ‘zone’, as in being in a complete trance with the music. We don’t do drugs or what-so-ever despite we are party animals. You know why? We believe in raving/partying responsibly because our actions don’t affects us only but others as well. *winks* With Asahi Malaysia providing refreshing beer all night long, we were able to rave all night long, all the way to the end.

Though its sad to see FMFA ended, I had an awesome time with my party animals and I’m sure it will most probably be the same for the rest as well. Can’t believe it that my only highlight of the month just ended with a blink of an eye. *pulls face* Nonetheless one thing for sure is, I’m so happy that I was able to be a part of ASOT600 alongside with Vivian, Rachel, Lance, Ian and the rest of 80,000 people. lol. Well we did what we set out to do in ASOT which was to rave like there was no tomorrow and trust me, we did more than what we aimed for. *evil grins*

Guess what? In less than 24 hours time, the biggest rave scene is gonna be taking place at Sepang International Circuit! I know you know what I’m talking about it. *evil grins* Future Music Festival Asia (FMFA) will certainly turn your world upside down! Since it is being held at such a massive scale, most of us will be scratching and pulling our hairs on what to and not to do at FMFA; in other words to prevent everyone to be in a total chaos mess, I have list down the maps and schedules for you to plan ahead on your rave party weekend. See ain’t I being so nice to you guys? *vain-ness*

I would advise you to save this map in your smartphones. Trust me it would come in handy; talking from experience. ^^”

First day would be the easiest to navigate around since there is only one stage. Oh yea, I'm talking about the state of trance which I’ll be rocking it all out at the VIP area. *jumps in the air* I’m so so so looking forward to ASOT man!

Alright the second day its’ the more confusing one as there will be four stages for four different types of performances. So READ each schedule properly if you don’t want to miss out your favorite acts.

Also if you’re worry you or your friends would be getting wasted at FMFA, fret not as you can actually pre-book your taxi in advance at Taxi Monger. Best part they are charging at flat rates so you won’t have to worry it will cost you a bomb since it will be a total traffic jam nightmare once FMFA ends. Yes, I’m talking bumper-to-bumper car traffic. So this will be a good alternative if you’re not planning to drive. ;)

Good things are meant to share with everyone, agree with me? So what I have up in my sleeves this time? I can say you will start loving me for telling you this news, ok maybe not loving me but you’ll definitely like me for sure. hehe. I’m a sucker when comes to sweet indulgence; I mean if you’re been reading my blog on a constant basis (which I hope you do) you can always see that I constantly blog about my sweet escapade. I can say 'no' to many things but not to cakes; its like a kryptonite to me. Maybe a wrong comparison but you get what I mean. Hence this is one of the main reasons why I’m growing sideways yet again. *no eyes to see* Oh wells I have to pay the price for all the calories I consume; hence a word of advice, please exercise on a regular basis if you don’t want to end up like me. >.<

Back to the topic on hand, what news you may wondering? Though I think my title is a clear giveaway. LOL. My RM1 chosen cake, the Durian Durian.; recommended for all durian lovers like me! *evil grins* To be completely honest, this durian cake ain’t that strong so it would be just nice for those who can’t really take durian. Personally for me the flavor isn't as strong as I would like it to be since I’m an absolute hardcore durian lover.

My Weakness Have Always Been Food & Men - In That Order

I have been asked frequently why my blog has been “silent” for the past couple of weeks. Well I'm here now to reveal my answers to you. :)

Had my midterm exam last week.
Weekly assignments to be submitted (sometimes two assignments per week)
Boring life.
Lack of motivation to blog.

Yea that pretty much sums it all up. Also the week before my midterm, I lost my iPhone at Zouk. *bangs head to the wall* Extremely FML. By the time I knew I lost my phone, I was already on the way back home. What’s worse, the person who took my phone he/she instantly switch off my phone which cause me unable to call nor message my number. Funny thing is that I was only using an iPhone 3GS which I can’t understand why anyone would want to take it. If you say iPhone 4, 4S or 5 I get it but mine is one of the oldest generation there is. *facepalm* To the person who took my phone, I want to say what goes around comes around and karma is bitch. ;)

At any rate, I gotten myself an iPhone 5 after being phone-less for a week. During that period of time, I know many of you had difficulties in contacting me and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience I've caused. :')

P.S. - I'm officially broke after purchasing my iPhone 5 so please give me more jobs people. *big puppy eyes*

Enough on my rambling, let me show some delicious food photos I took during Korea. Their food is absolute delicious! Frankly speaking I ate a lot when I was there, I couldn't be bothered about my diet or what so ever. Yes, it’s that gooooddddd. Oh how much I miss Korea food. *big sigh* Also a few of you (my dearest readers) asked me where I had these scrumptious meals and how much the food cost on average. I'm so sorry that I can't remember the places I had them because I didn't jot down the name of the restaurants. :( As for the price, on average is about 10,000 won (approximately RM30) starting from 5,000 won (RM15) to 20,000 won (RM60) per meal.

WARNING - If you’re hungry right now, I would advise you not to scroll down because I’m sure you’ll become more hungry if you do so. *laugh out loud*

Flew 2686 miles just to eat Baskin Robbins ice-creams. TROLOL!

Hungry yet? If you think the foods look good in the photos, wait until you try them for real. Not only Korean food taste good, it is also so healthy; maybe this explains why most of the Koreans are so slim. Of course these aren't the only food my girl friends and I had in Korea. There are more actually but some times my body acts according to what my stomach says when the hunger is at high level, even my mind can’t stop it. *giggles* Hence priority comes to satisfy my hunger first then only take food pictures but by the time it happens, the food is already gone. LOL.

Jeju Green Tea Plantation

I think some of you boys and girls are getting bored with my posts of Jeju Island? Please bear with me because its not everyday I get to travel to Korea and its quite impossible for me to blog all in one post. *big puppy eyes* If I do that, it will be a super duper extremely long post, get what I mean? I scare later you will start cursing at me for real for making you wait a loonnngggg time to download a post of mine. LOL. Hence I’m just thinking the big picture, for the good of everyone. *giving excuses only* Double LOL. Anyhow this will be my last post about Jeju Island; I’m about 80% sure? heh.

One of the last few places we visited was the Jeju Green Tea Plantation, located at the foothill of Mt. Halla. We were told that the plantation holds a magnificent view while having the opportunity to taste Mt. Halla’s delicious green tea. Somehow I just feel green tea always taste better when it is freshly pick daily compare to the commercial ready made packets. Well one thing for sure is that nothing beats the feeling of drinking a cup of hot green tea during the winter as it warms up one's body and relaxes one's mind. *looking out the window while holding a cup of tea*

I was quite fond of the interior design of this small cottage. I know its not an unusual sight to
see papers plastered all over the walls and ceilings but… how often you get to see those papers being written in Korean words in Malaysia? *evil laugh* Ok maybe its not that big of a deal for some of you, yet still it is for me OK. I don’t get to ~~read~~ see handwritten Korean words every day. It would be nice if I could understand ONE of those papers; I do wonder what those people wrote on the papers. hmm...

Also I like that the Koreans incorporate elements of nature into their buildings; as a matter of fact most of the places I visited are environmental friendly. Korea citizens are quite cautious about their environment and teaching others to do the same as well. I have to say that I am impress and admire this side of them (beside their attractive physical appearance) because sadly to say a large number of Malaysians couldn’t be bothered about conserving our mother nature. Be honest, how many of you take the time to sort out your rubbish before throwing, or use recyclable bags when you do your grocery/shopping? Something to think about isn’t it… I admit it that even myself ain’t that spirited like them to do on a DAILY basis.

Do you know that this was the ONLY place where I managed to walk outside without wearing my winter coat during my whole trip in Seoul, beat it Jeju or Seoul?? Yes this is the only post where you’ll get to see me at outdoor in my ‘normal’ wear (though I’m still wearing two more layers beneath my clothes). I know this will sound off coming from a person who loves winter, but in reality my body can’t take the cold weather. Among the four of us, I was the only one who wore three to four layers of clothing every single day in Korea while the rest only wore two layers, at most three layers. *smack forehead* I know, me is a weird girl with contra dictating personality. *facepalm*

Guess who I found at outside? Its Miro, the green tea dog. *giggles* He is super huge I tell you; when he stood up, he nearly reached up to my head! Though I love animals a lot, he kinda scared me because I thought he was going to pound me down and chew me up like a dog bone. Nonetheless he is a pretty boy right. haha.

Alright here is the end of my post about Jeju Island. I doubt I’ll be blogging much about Seoul, maybe one or two post if I'm lucky? If you’re wondering why… we didn't really went sight seeing a lot in the city; on the contrary we were shopping, like damn a lot. Let’s put it this way, we came back to our room with a bag of items almost every day. In fact our rooms were filled up with stuffs all over the place until it was quite hard to walk around without stepping onto something. I’m not exaggerating at all if you think I am. *nods head* But then our rooms were way smaller in Seoul compare to Jeju so maybe it wasn't that serious. *scratches head* Forgetful me that I didn't snapped photos of our messy rooms or not you’ll be able to see it for yourself.

Oh wells, I hope you’ll be looking forward for my Seoul posts. *winks*

Jejueco Suites & Tours | Eco-style Accommodation

During my time in Korea, I stayed at Jeju-do for 4 days 3 nights before headed to Seoul. So where did my girls and I stayed in Jeju-do? I suggest you to remember this place well if you’re planning to go to Jeju-do for a vacation because its an excellent divine place. In fact this suite practices eco concept to encourage guests to be more environmental friendly in line with their philosophy which is to provide guests with intimate contact with nature and wilderness, while using resources responsibly and causing minimal environmental impact. I'm talking about the eco-style accommodation, Jejueco Suites & Tours, located at Jungmun-dong, Seogwipo-si. To be frank I was stunned when we reached the place because I didn’t expected it to be that luxurious and comfortable.

This suite has only 10 rooms available so this is the perfect to have some tranquility moments while at the same time keeping a close contact with nature just by looking at the magic skies & clouds & snow. *relax on the balcony* Yes I kid you not; a good place to blow off some steam I may add. *winks* Also it is located in the middle of tangerine farms, off the main road; each morning when I wake up I can smell fresh tangerine brewing in the kitchen. :)

Can you remember my bear, Alex, which I mentioned in my previous post before this? I named him after the suite manager, Alex, who treated us extremely well with his 24/7 hour service. Actually he did more than he was suppose to as the suite manager to make our stay a worth while one. On our first night after we touched down in Gimpo Airport, he offered us to use the Jacuzzi tub located at top floor balcony because the suite was unoccupied for that night ONLY. It was my first experience to dip in hot water at an open space deck during WINTER (I know right). What a pleasure time all ~~four~~ three of us had; Jaime couldn't join us because she was having the time of the month if you get me.

I just realize that this is the only photo I taken of myself at the suite. *smack forehead* Winter season made me feel so lethargic all the time until to the point that I was so unmotivated to take photos! WTF right… Now I’m regretting that I didn't took more photos during my stay. *facepalm*

I was so so so disappointed that I didn't managed to take a picture with Alex before we left to Seoul. We had such a hectic schedule during our time in Jeju-do because of our tour group until we didn't have much time to do anything else. *sigh* He is by far one of the nicest people I have known in my entire life yet. If you’re reading this Alex, thank you so much for your generosity, friendliness and kindness to make our time in Jejueco such a memorable one. *big wide smile*

Chateau De Caffeinees

C.A.F.F.E.I.N.E.E.S. A place I used to visit very often when my sugar sister, Shirnie, was in Malaysia. Things changed quite a lot after she left to UK to pursue her degree course in Nottingham. How time flies indeed.. *big sigh* I didn’t realize how long I haven’t been there until I check-in using Foursquare & the last check in was in August ‘12 last year. But…I did went to Caffeinees last month for a quick dinner before I went to the Magnum event. My point is that I have not step foot in this place for about 4-6 months since Shirnie left? So you can imagine how nostalgic it was for me when I went there yesterday & a number of things have changed at Caffeinees. *stunned for a moment* *cricket sound* Oh how I miss Caffeinees; I know Shirnie is missing the place very much as well. hehe.

Well I notice there is a clothing boutique located at the front of the restaurant, selling polo shirts if I’m not wrong. I would have love to enter the boutique but I was there after midnight so as you can guess the place was already close. Besides that, a black market was recently opened at the back, occupying a portion of the used-to-be-car-park location. I was told that the black market was officially launched on the first day of CNY; talk about picking the “right” time for an opening day right. Maybe there are more people in KL than I assumed. LOL.

One thing didn't change though in Caffeinees, their food still taste as good as I can remember. :)

As most of you know Chinese New Year is a big festive season in the Chinese calendar where everyone makes the effort to go back hometown for a big family gathering. However I can’t say the same thing for me as I come from separated parents. Nonetheless this doesn't mean I don’t enjoy CNY with my family, just that we do it in a more unconventional way. *winks* So what did I do for the past few days of CNY? *evil laugh* If you’re following me on Twitter, you would have probably seen my check-ins in shopping mall such as at MidValley, The Gardens & etc. Yes, I have been hitting it all out at the mall but not alone of course; been having a one-to-one date with Mummy. *grins from ear to ear* Despite its just the two of us, we had a great mother-daughter bonding moments which I would never trade it away for anything else in the world. What can I say, I’m Mummy’s girl. teehee.

Can’t believe that I’m saying this but Chinese New Year is getting pretty boring for me. *facepalm* Well I can’t blame it that it’s not a huge deal in my family, more so when everyone is everywhere. lol! Anyways I’m just staying at home for now, snacking on chips & cookies while watching movies/dramas online. Despite I’m so free right now, I have an assignment due next week Tuesday…but I have not even started a thing on it. FML! Procrastination has a strong force on me. huhu… Can someone please slap me back into reality & put my ass back to work?! I just become such a lazy pig once I’m in my holiday mood. WTF… Whatever it is, I know I will have a looonnnnggggggg list of things-to-do right after CNY. *double facepalm*

Oh yea since I’m so "free" (where in fact I’m suppose to work on my assignment), I thought of updating my blog on the beautiful sceneries I’ve seen at Jeju Island.
